Gosh, I don't even know where to begin with this drama. It hadn't been on my PTW list long before I decided to watch it because it sounded really interesting, to be honest, and I was not disappointed. This drama was written so freaking well if it wasn't for the time travel aspect involved I would have sworn it was based on a true story. The acting was simply mindblowing to start with. Every single time Huang Yu Xuan cried for her missing boyfriend my heart broke for the poor woman and I wanted to give her a hug and Alice Ke played the role so damn well you have thought she really was mourning the loss of her boyfriend for reals for reals. She truly conveyed the feelings of someone who's completely lost and doesn't know what to do without her love beside her. Every single thing she did in the drama after her boyfriend went missing was relatable. She mourned him, visited their favorite places, cussed him out, missed him, cried for him and the list goes on. Then she even upped her game some more when she started playing Chen Yan Ru. God my heart especially broke during the very last scene when she truly wanted to die because she was just tired of it all, to be able to play two different characters in the same drama yet excel at making them both come to life is not something that's easy but she managed to do just that and she did it amazingly. I never connected with a drama character before as I had with Chen Yan Ru at that moment. The only character I had ever connected with like that was Go Eun Chan in Coffee Prince. All the characters in this drama were written so very well you could personally connect with them and their struggles. The chemistry between not only the leads but just the others as well was just outstanding, they all came together and you could truly believe they knew each other and were close in real life. The story was absolutely beautiful, well thought of, so very well written and acted out, the scenery gorgeous and the OST just breathtaking. It's incredibly hard to come across well-written dramas now but this one truly took the cake and will forever be on top five list.
