A bitter sweet ending

It broke my heart to see the director, Min Yu Dam, cried after Seol Dong Baek was stabbed by Dennis. His tears, his plead to God, his desperation and his love for Seol Dong Baek, all came pouring out from him. You cannot help but cry with him.

It would have been great if they had given the story more depth and let it flow smoothly. I have read the comic so it kind of help to understand the drama better. 10 episodes were much too short given much time was wasted at the start of each episode to show what had transpired in the previous one. And each episode itself is merely 15 to 20 minutes.

It was a bitter sweet ending and I can understand the frustration some felt after all Min Yu Dam had waited for 300 years to find Seol Dong Baek. However, nearing the end, Min Yu Dam asked if they have met before and the way Seol Dong Baek smiled when he agreed to have dinner with him, indicates to me that it was going to be a new beginning for both of them. As such, it was in a way, a happy ending.

I enjoyed it thoroughly though it was quite rushed through, perhaps due to budget constraint.

Nonetheless, I still recommended it because Park Young Woon's acting was really worth the watch.

Cute & Adorable MLs

To be honest, I almost didn't watch The Tuxedo because of the numerous negative reviews. I am glad I ignored them and went for it. It was one of the best decisions I made. I thoroughly enjoyed the series despite the storyline and some imperfections. Hey, which drama or movie is perfect? My only complain is 8 episodes was by far too short for the series. There were so many ways to enhance the story further.

What I love most was the chemistry between Nawee and Aioun. The looks and emotions between them were so realistic that you cannot help but get goosebumps. Chap and Green did a fanatic job portraying the characters. I also loved their web series, Chapter of Green. If you have not watch it, go for it!

I also like the height difference between Chap and Green. Green looked tall as a stand alone but gosh, when you put them together, Chap towers over him and jeez, they fit perfectly! Hope ChapGreen ship will sail strong and they will get more series together.

I would have given a 10 if they had put in a few more episodes of Nawee and Aioun coming together to work against Nawee's father or include some scenes or plots with Chanjao coming between the 2MLs to make it spicier. It would be awesome if they have a Season 2.

Ohhh...those suits! And those in the suits! Yummy!

The scene where Aioun pricked his finger and Nawee immediately sucked on it...Aioun's confused look...the looks between them...Aioun clutching his chest. Oh my heart!

My fav part of the series? Aioun going over to Nawee's place in episode 7 and my oh my...those kisses!!! Not gonna spoil it. Watch it for yourself!

The OST is great! I just couldn't get it out of my head for days.

Don't think too much of the storyline or plot, just enjoy the series as it is.

Give The Tuxedo a try...you will not regret it!

Two people, one bedroom, 3 meals, four seasons. I am grateful I have you.

I waited for the series to end before I binge it...and I love every minute of it!

One of the best things was...a series NOT about high school or university crush or love. Simply a beautiful love between 2 adults.

I just loved it! The chemistry between the 2 main couple was way off the chart! You can see how comfortable they are with each other. Especially the way Xun An looks at Bai Liang. You can feel the love radiating from his eyes. What really pulled on my heartstring was Xun An was prepared to incur the wrath of his father to get him to accept Bai Liang.

I know the storyline may not be everyone's cup of tea but it's still awesome. I would have given it a 10 if they not rushed the ending and have shown more of the following.

- Xun An realizing that Bai Liang was the one who gave him the cakes in college.
- Bai Liang's reaction to seeing Xun An's wounds and how he would lovingly treat them.
- Would have been great if there were more kisses since both actors are sooooo comfortable with kissing each other.
- Bai Liang and Xun An's wedding.
- More screen time for Alex & AJ.

And...wow...the playful and surprised kiss in the car while Xun An was driving! Scream!!!

The proposal from Xun An...sigh..."From now on, your heart, your teeth, and everything about you, can I have all of you?" Me...melted... Xun An...loves him to bits! Making me want to young and single again...lol.

The way they called each other 'baby'...so adorable and endearing. Love it, love it! Makes you tingle all over.

So if you have not watch the series, I would advise you not to wait any longer. You might regret for not watching it earlier!!

If not for anything, watch it for Kaownah

I just completed binge watching the series. I must say Kaownah's acting is off the chart!

Personally I am super impressed with him because he was able to be in character in the numerous series he acted. He was a 'maniac' as Lhong in TharnTyre, a 'free spirit' as Song in Nitiman and a smitten celebrity in Love Stage. You can see and feel the love he, as Ryou, has for Anda. I don't know if Kaownah's look was due to the different years the 3 series were shot but I must say, he looks gorgeous in Love Stage!

I despised Llong in TharnType but simply adore Kaownah in Love Stage. That speaks volume of his convincing acting.

I like Turbo in Nitiman but as Anda, he came across as immature and irritating at times.

I definitely must mention that Ryou/Anda and Tee/Jed making out concurrently in the hotel rooms. It was hot, hot, hot! Someone get me the fan!

The chemistry between Ryou and Anda was indeed good. Probably KaoTurbo being an actual couple contributed to it. I also enjoyed the stolen moments between Tee and Jed.

Love the parents except them trying to force Anda doing stuff he hates! I believe the father knew about Tee and Jed given the way he advised Tee when Tee was facing difficulties writing new songs.

I don't want to spoil it too much. Just watch the series without comparing it to the Japanese and anime version. You will enjoy it.

It's a good series...go for it!

I literally just finished watching it a minute ago.

Honestly...I...LIKE...IT! I do not know why there were so many negatives comments on HIStory 5. The story is not perfect but it is good. Tell me, which movie, drama or film has a perfect storyline? I thought Obsessed was the worst in the HIStory series.

HIStory 5 made me laugh and cried which speaks volume of the drama. Yes, it was slow moving at times but the flow was smooth and the momentum was right. I kind of preferred the second couple, Vincent and Wynn than Hai Yi and Johnny. Vincent and Wynn seemed to be more natural and comfortable with each other. There are numerous adorable scenes which will melt your heart, especially Vincent's expressions in Episode 2 (in the car), Episode 3 (in the office) and Episode 9 (in the shower). I will definitely rewatch this, mostly for Vincent and Wynn. Let me give you a tip...you wouldn't want to miss Episode 19...wink!

I thought having Xing Si and Yong Jie at the end was a nice touch. I like the way it included Xing Si and Yong Jie sharing the challenges faced by them, how it made their relationship stronger, encouraging and supporting Vincent and Wynn to work out the misunderstanding between them. I was more into them in HIStory 4 than the main couple. I really really don't understand why some viewers kept insinuating it was incest between them. They became step-brothers through their parents' marriage to each other. They do not share the same father or mother. Xing Si's father married Yong Jie's mother! It is NOT incest...period!

For those of you who have hesitated to watch HIStory 5 because of all the negatives and discouraging comments, don't be swayed by them. Remember...one man's meat is another man's poison. Watch and judge it for yourself. I am glad I did!

Your happiness is being with you. You are my life.

Honestly, I was hesitant to watch Never Let Me Go because of the numerous negative reviews but I am glad I chose to ignore them.

My person opinion, maybe we should just enjoy watching series/dramas/ movies and take them with an open mind instead of dwelling with why did they do this and not that, how is that not explained, where did that person gone to, why does the plot makes not sense... etc, etc. My question is, why do you want to tear your hairs out trying to make sense of things that do not make sense to you? My answer is very simple... you cannot change anything. So why not just sit back, relax and enjoy the show as it is?

If we look at the positive side of the series, Never Let Me Go is a meaningful and endearing story between a boy from a fishing village and an heir to a hotel empire. It showed the process of both young men going through adversity towards adulthood and finding love for each other along the way.

It is indeed heartwarming and you will enjoy the chemistry between Pond and Phuwin. Take for instance the gentle, tender and loving gaze Palm (Pond) had while looking at Nueng (Phuwin) playing the piano at the Dance Club. You can practically feel the love oozing out from Palm (Pond). They are so comfortable with each other that you would think they are a couple in real life. Their acting have matured tremendously since their Fish Upon the Sky days.

You wouldn't want to miss the 2 theme songs sang by Pond and Phuwin especially Only One by Pond. They are awesome! Pond has an incredible voice.

The cinematography was great. They were able to capture those beautiful moments which made your heart skip a few beats. You can only sigh and smile while rooting for the 2 boys.

I would definitely recommend you to watch it if you have not done so. Don't wait...watch it now.

7 years of longing

I cannot deny it...one of the best Korean BL dramas.

I love how the 2 MLs are so natural in their interaction between them. The portrayal of the characters was also top notch. It was so enjoyable to watch the 2 of them being playful, emotional and lovey dovey.

The acting was amazing especially in Episode 7 where Shin Ki-Tae cried his heart out thinking that Lee Wan had disappeared again. It was so emotional that it makes you want to reach out and hug him tight.

As the story slowly unfold, we realized that Ki-Tae's feeling for Lee Wan was mutual and Lee Wan mistook his reaction as being negative. Throughout the seven years, Ki-Tae was desperately looking for Lee Wan. What a waste of seven years.

It was also interesting to note that the role changes after seven years whereby Shin Ki-Tae became the one who was deeply in love with Lee Wan. He was so adorable and it was fun watching him going after Lee Wan.

My only complaint is...it is too short! It would have been great if the series had at least 20 episodes of 30 minutes each. Sigh...wishful thinking!

So people...watch the drama and fall in love with Shin Ki-Tae and Lee Wan! And after that...wished for more...wink.

Good leads with irritating side cast.

How should I start? I delayed watching this series because I wasn't too sure about it. I finally decided to go ahead and well, it was pretty good except for some confusing parts.

Why didn't Gene remember Nubsib? Wouldn't his name look familiar to him in the audition form?

Nubsib is a sweetie. I love his persistency. He knows what he wants. He wants Gene to understand the love he has for him but didn't rush or pressure Gene to accept it. I like also the fact that Nubsib didn't take advantage of Gene when he was drunk.

Gene...he can be rather annoying at times. I was pretty pissed with him when he didn't stop Aey for trying to kiss him. It almost happened if not for...well...watch the series to find out.

Arghhh...Aey!!! What an irritating character! In fact, his acting gets on my nerves. The crying, the crunching of his face, etc all looked so fake. Aey thinks the world revolves around him. Everything should be about him. I was kind of glad when Tiffy told him that she was resigning as his manager and when Aey offered a salary increment, she said if was not about money and he should know the reason. Adding insult to injury, Mhok was given his own series whereas Aey was not. Yeah man!

Mhok...he likes Aey...yucks! Unfortunately, I watched The Tuxedo before this series. Chap and Green were the main leads. Maybe I am bias but I just cannot visualize Chap liking anyone else except Green. Green had a minor role in Lovely Writer. If you have not watched The Tuxedo, go for it. If you are still not sure about it, read my review.

I adored the parents. Despite the initial objections, they gave Gene and Nubsib their full support.

I don't know if it is just me but I didn't get the ending of the series. Gene was shown throughout the series writing a new novel entitled, Lovely Writer (which was changed from Lovely Actor). However, the ending featured a female writer receiving a call from her publisher informing her that her novel, Lovely Writer, was going to be made into a series. That part didn't make sense to me.

The OST is cute and light-hearted.

All in all, it was a good series...worth a watch.

Anything that comes from you, I will always like it.

Well, this series is not as bad as some of the reviews made it seemed to be.

Given that most of the lead actors are in their first drama series, they did a pretty decent job.

Initially I thought that the series would take off where it ended from the last Moon series. Not much was explained about the incident involving Wayu. This series basically focus more on Tatch and Lom and the usual plot from enemies to friends.

What I like about most was that Lom was not easily swayed by rumors about Tatch. He made his own decisions and continued to support and trust Tatch. That, I believe, is how much Lom treasures Tatch.

As for the other 3 couples, Pha/Wayu, Forth/Beam & Ming/Kit, they were not given much of the screen time. When the spotlight was on them, it was mostly on some silly jealousy and squabbling. What a waste of opportunities not to give them a better storyline. Their looks, treat for the eyes though!

Quite refreshing to have a new pair of twins, Plai & Pan, besides AJ & JJ.

Oh, I will have to mention that there were quite a bit of bed scenes. They were sweet but not enough passion to show their thirst for one another.

Nonetheless, it is still a good watch if you have the time to spare.

You like this suit? I like the one wearing it too.

I waited for the series to be completed so I can binge on it and I am glad I waited. Otherwise I would have gotten frustrated waiting for the next episode.

I preferred Payu & Rain's story better. It felt more realistic than that of Prapai & Sky. Why?

For Payu & Rain, it was smoother and the storyline was more enjoyable and lighthearted. The flashbacks were well placed in the series and helped in explaining the sequence of the events better. Moments between the two were fluffy and the chemistry was spot on. Just wait till you see what they do after Payu won the challenge. Not gonna spoil the thrill! Mama mia! Oh...I simply love the part where Payu sang to Rain! So so romantic! Sigh...Payu is the man you always wanted as a boyfriend. Ahhh...those bedroom eyes! Rain is the cute and sometimes clueless 'dimwit' who is just perfect for Payu. The chemistry between them is out of this world! You can feel that Payu really loves Rain to bits! Goosebumps! Honestly, I cannot stop rewatching these scenes...bathtub, the challenge/make out and specially towards the end of episode 7 whereby Payu disclosed who his boyfriend is...it's so sweet.

The story between Prapai & Sky was 'heavier'. It was only into episode 8 which the viewers were shown how the two met. Actually it wasn't my cup of tea because I felt that in the beginning it was near impossible for someone to agree having sex with a person you met barely for 5 minutes even in that situation. Sky can be rather irritating with him constantly trying to irk Prapai. I like the Sky in the first 7 episodes but after that it was quite tedious watching his mood swing and his trauma was not explained until almost at the end of the series. It was also tiring watching Prapai pursuing Sky. I must say that Prapai is definitely boyfriend material. So much love and patience.

It would have been great if the last episode featured the two couples instead of ending with just Prapai & Sky. In fact, I felt that they should have made it into 2 different series like Star and Sky: Star in My Mind; Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart, followed by a special episode to round things up. Or they could have interweaved the 2 stories. Sky was regular from episodes 1 to 7 but Rain is almost non existence henceforth. Payu and Sky kind of completely disappeared from episode 8 onwards.

Oh, I must definitely mention Tonnam as Sig! He acted in Triage, Cutie Pie, Where R U and a few more series in supporting roles. Thoroughly enjoys all of his roles. A very versatile actor, a serious doctor in Triage and an idiotic clown in Love in the Air. Hope he gets to lead a series soon.

And Payu's mechanic, Aon, is hilarious!

By the way, if you find Payu's home is familiar, it was also Nawee's in The Tuxedo.

The OST is awesome! Especially 'The Strongest Love'!

It is definitely a great series. It got me addicted from episode 1 to 7, as I mentioned earlier, I lean more towards Payu & Rain. I gave the acting and rewatch value a 10 mainly because of Payu & Rain.

What are you waiting for? Watch it...you will love it!
