"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." - That one Asian guy.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is as the title implies - a story about vengeance and making us sympathize with the motives behind said vengeance, and it does it very well.

It shows us that the world isn't black and white, and while we may not agree with how things turn out - we can understand why they ended up that way.

The emotion from the actors in this film is very raw, even to the point of being intoxicating - which is one of its main charms, I think.

The pacing was one of the weaker points of the film, as it took around an hour to really get things rolling. Sure the hour had a lot of build up, but it was really quite unnecessary at times.
It isn't a film you really want to re-watch straight away - more like you'll watch it once then maybe watch it again after a year or so.

Once it started, though... It was quite beautiful.

Anyway, delightful movie.

One of the most fantastic zombie movies I've ever seen.

If you're expecting "Oh look! A zombie! KILL IT! OMNOMNOM" for an hour and a half then this may not be your cup of tea.

This film is a collection of different stories ranging from the beginning of the "infection" to the world after a cure is found and zombies have had the effects reversed.

It's very different from your traditional zombie movie in a sense that it doesn't just focus on the mindless beasts that eat everything and the buff guys that appear to shoot them - it focuses on the relationships, the philosophical and ethical aspects of zombiedom and post zombiedom.

A few things could've been developed a bit more, but overall it was a very satisfying watch.

I watched this purely for Mizushima Hiro because I fancied seeing him in something different - sadly he plays the same character as he usually does - the goofy, clumsy player with good intentions in the end. His acting was rather forced and almost seemed like it he was trying to break the 4th wall at times.

Shun is a total Gary Sue, and it took pretty much all of the intensity out of it. A lot of the plot was solved by him basically saying "oh, you didn't know that? Yeah I planned that in advance and did this. We're done here."
That coupled with some of the worst policing in the history of policing kind of made me sad.

The odd couple routine was amusing at times, but terribly overused and very much out of place most of the time. Having a comedic argument in front of drug dealers pointing guns at you may be funny... but really?

Ah well. If you're not looking for much plot wise then this is an average odd couple themed cat and mouse chase.

*DISCLAIMER: I do not fangirl over pretty protagonists.

I'm pretty sure the Korean pronunciation would perfectly illustrate how I feel about this drama.

To start! The story:
It's a pretty basic story of revenge,"romance" and a game of cat and mouse that... really ends all unsatisfying like - seriously, it hardly felt like anyone was chasing anyone.

The pacing is pretty poor, and most episodes are heavily padded. Your general episode would go like this:
10% plot
10% glaring
80% needless drama between the two leads.
Really, they went hot and cold so often that it gave me the chills. The needlessly forced drama between them (as well as the forced relationship) was kind of bearable to start, but the writers decided to repeat it over and over.

Actors!
To be fair, I enjoyed the performance of a few characters, but people like Nana's agent pal were so. very. wooden.
The way it was directed was all too saddening, as well. The characters were blatantly out in the open, as inconspicuous as a white van outside a villain's house and had the disguising skills of a pigeon.
Why bring up disguises, do you ask? Lee Yoon Sung's go to disguise was either a pair of glasses, a hat, or even a pair of glasses and his hair paired to a different side!

I personally thought LYS was utterly unlikeable. He had very few decent qualities, and was rather an unpleasant person to many. I guess his most appealing quality was his looks, right?
A lovely guy that doesn't want to kill but will take every opportunity to mess with Nana.
"Don't come near me!"
"But... you keep coming to me... like all the time..."
"I TOLD YOU, DON'T COME NEAR ME!"
"O...kay?"
"MAKE ME COFFEE! :@"

Another point that I disliked was the thorough destruction of Nana's character. To start she was feisty, independent and quite a nice opposite to LYS's typical bad-boy-that-treats-women-like-trash-until-they-like-them-a-whole-lot attitude. Then... then she just became a puppy eye'd female that never seems to back up what she says when she threatens LYS with leaving. I guess we needed that for the forced romance, right?

Music!
It was catchy, fitted the mood more often than not. It was the highest rated aspect, for me.

Overall:
A poor man's cat and mouse game with needless drama, poor pacing and a glaring dad that appears every time someone is going to say something that would put him at a disadvantage.
I take it back - the glare was the highest rated thing for me.

Don't click is aptly named -- you really shouldn't click and watch this movie.

It is a horror movie that takes from others (The Ring) and tries to modernize the whole "cursed tape" theme. While I applaud the effort - it is essentially a whole film of a bunch of schoolkids running from a cctv camera.

The characters act as they would in a horror movie: completely illogically and "I feel like dying today"ily - which makes for some rather hilarious scenes.

The motive behind it all is pretty shallow, and the moral of the story being: "Don't say mean things on the internet! The internet is a bad place!"

It is an un-scary yet quite hilarious "horror" movie.
