Fantastic drama

I have a sub to Viki and this show made me get a sub to IQIYI! Dang it! I knew from the trailer this is a show to watch! It sort of reminds me of “Someone Like You”.

Storyline - a bit slow but I liked it. I took a break before they broke up because I did not want to see them break up. Glad they did in a way because I think when they finally got back together they were more mature. Just wish they would write it in that she did not turn him down so much. But I did like it and it is one I would watch once or twice a year. Love the ending. Gave you a lot to enjoy and closed off good. I was a bit shocked how they kind of threw in the story of the friend dying and then she had a physiological problem with thinking her friend was still alive…hmm it was weird how they ended it. It was almost like an afterthought. That is my only hang up for this drama. So I gave the storyline 9.5/10 because they could have spent time in ending it better. Or just not have put it in at all.

Acting/Cast - loved both leads! They both did really well. All others did really well also.

Music - the music is fantastic! I loved it all! Hope the soundtrack comes out on Amazon soon because I will be buying it!

Rewatch - YES! I loved this story. It was a bit different from most dramas. Like I said above it will be one I watch once or twice a year!

Touching show

I put this show off for a long time and finally decided to watch it. It is a really touching, heartbreaking show.

Storyline - well written and well acted. It was a hard one for me to watch because I really hated the mother and how she treated her son over the death of her child. How could she accuse him of killing his sister when she was the one who should have been there. I have a hard time understanding a parent who could do that and then place ALL the blame on a child. I loved how they all made a family because it is not always about blood. Family is who and what you make it and this drama shows that. I am glad that the mother finally realized what she was doing wrong and stopped. The son did not deserve the torment and emotional blackmail she held over him.

Cast - I have seen Tan Song Yun in several shows and she is a cute actress. She did a really great job in this drama. I have seen a few of the others in dramas. I thought they all did really well.

Rewatch - it might take me a while before I see it again. Sometime shows like this are hard for me to watch. I am not a sad show person and especially where a mother treats her child the way she does. My kids are my world and so I have a hard time understanding or watching mean evil parents. But I will watch it again just not sure when or how often. It is at least worth watching once!

Perfect drama with life struggles and realizing dreams.

I have waited for this drama to come out because it has my two most favorite Chinese actor/actress in it. I was pleasantly surprised of how well it turned out. The wait was well worth it!

Storyline - Was really well done. It is about the struggles Yu Tu had between real life and his dreams. He had a lot of growing up to do and changes to make to become a better person in his personal life as will as his job. Jingjing was a great support and perfect for him because she realized his dream and wanted him to accomplish it. Whereas his ex-girlfriend only saw the money he would make for her to have a comfortable lifestyle. She said he was selfish but she really was the selfish one. She tried to get back with him only when he was seeing someone else. He was her prize where as Jingjing was his support. I really liked how they both handled their exes. It did not drag out in cat fights and face slapping. This show is a more mature show in that sense. I really liked that.

Some places it dragged a bit but for the most part I really loved this drama. It was nice to watch the story and their love slowly unfold.

Acting/Cast - Yang Yang has been a long time favorite of mine. I have seen him in many dramas and loved them all. However, I liked this one the best. He showed maturity and a lot of sides to his acting I did not see in other dramas of his. He really showed his characters struggles and emotions really well. Dilraba is also a favorite of mine. She is a really great actress and plays all her roles perfectly. Their chemistry is really great! I really enjoyed their romance scenes. They acted natural and it was flawless. Made the heart melt!

Music - one of my favorite but again cannot find here in the States on Amazon. Most of the Chinese sound tracks are hard to find. There have been so many I have looked for and wish I could have. But it was great music and fit the drama really well especially in certain parts of the show.

Rewatch - Yes, for sure! It is at the top of my favorite CDramas list. It is a must watch!

One of my favorites!

Yes, they told Fengjiu and Hua Dijon’s story differently in the first one compared to this drama. But I still LOVE both shows and both tellings of their love story! I like this story of them the best because it goes into more detail of their love. I am not going to go into detail on the show. You just have to watch it!

Story - love Love LOVE this story! It follows Three Lives, Three Worlds of the main leads. And yes it is just that…three lives they have in three worlds. Fengjiu is in love with Hua Dijon after he saves her. She “helps” him in different worlds and he later realizes just how much she has done for him and falls in love with her. I love to watch Hua Dijun go from a sort of cold and indifferent persons to a warm and loving husband! Melts your heart!

The ending is perfect. Thank goodness! I love a happy ending! If it is sad I don’t watch it. Haha. This drama has all the emotions. I love that! Tells me it is great story telling when it hits them all!

Acting/Cast - Dilraba is an amazing actress! She is my all time favorite. She does not disappoint me in this drama or the first one. Gao Weiguang is also really good! They both made this show perfect!

Music - love the music. Hoping to own the soundtrack some day. It is beautiful music.

Rewatch - always and anytime I can! Worth watching! Don’t judge it with Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms) telling of them. Just watch it! It is really good. It is a different spin on their story compared to the first show.

To lengthy and not as good as the other one.

I have watched the Netflix version of this drama three times now and love it so much better than this one! I liked that this one dived into each of the characters stories a bit deeper. But I hated how long it was and the end was not all that satisfying. I really wanted to stop watching it at episode 30 because it was getting me mad. Lol

Storyline - has its pros and cons. Biggest con is that it was just way to long and the ending sucked. If you are going to go that long take the time to give a satisfying ending!? I like that it gave you more in-depth story into each of the characters. It explained more about each of them and their struggles in life and love. Other than that I was not pleased with this version as much.

Acting/Cast - I have nothing against the FL but I really liked the FL in the other version of this drama. I just am not a fan of this FL. The ML I really like. I mainly watched it because of him. I really liked him in “Go Go Squid”. I plan to watch the second one soon!? He did a really good job and has grown in his acting. Glad to see him in more dramas. The rest of the cast did good also. They told their stories really well.

Music - loved! Would like to own it.

Rewatch - nah, maybe. If I did I would skip a lot of parts but in all honesty I would not watch this version I would only watch the Netflix version. It has a satisfying ending and I really like the story and ending a lot better.

One of my all time favorites!

I love this drama!!! I have watched it three times now and still love it and enjoy the entire show with no skipping! It grabs you right from the start and won’t let you go till it ends.

Story - love the storyline! Could it use some work? Sure! No movie, show, or drama is perfect. But the acting and the whole drama in its entirety make up for any imperfections! It makes you laugh, cry, and want to kick some butts but in the end it turns out perfect!

Acting/Cast - I love the mains! They did an amazing job! When he forgot her I wanted to cry. Just when they were really bonding and he came to realize how important she was to him... he forgets her. She had to go through a lot of pain. And the main actress did a wonderful job playing her roll. I always have to find myself that she is an alien and cannot quite understand human emotions so she is totally oblivious to how he feels about her and how she is feeling. But she pulled it off really well. And the male lead, he did great also. It broke my heart when she disappeared on him and went back home. I cried (all three times I watched it) with him. He pulled off the emotions perfectly. Almost makes me believe it is all real! Haha

Rewatch - heck ya! I love love love this show and hope one day I can buy it so I no longer have to watch it on YouTube. Or hope it is never taken off YouTube!

One of my first foreign dramas and I loved it!

This is one of the first foreign dramas I have seen. I really hated watching subtitles instead of seeing everything going on in the show but over the years got used to it because my father is almost deaf. So I wanted a change from the American Hallmark shows that just got boring. I ran across this show and more on Netflix and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I have enjoyed many KDramas and CDramas now and will keep watching them!

Ok so this show... I really liked it even with then not so great acting and the huge mistakes especially in the parts of Riley Wang playing the violin. I have a daughter who plays so watching him try to act playing was a bit painful! Lol however, it is still one of my favorites and I have watched it 3 times now!

Storyline - I liked the story. It was not acted perfectly. Some of the parts were lacking in big ways. But I do like the story itself.

Acting/Cast - I love the main leads! Riley Wang is getting better in his acting since this show. Rosy Zhao has also gotten better. I have seen a few of their recent dramas and have enjoyed them.

Rewatch? Yes definitely! Might go for my 4th soon!?

Great fluff & stuff show! Top of my favorites!!

If you are looking for a good down to earth almost true to life drama... this is it!

I have to give this show 10/10! Several reasons for this...

Storyline- perfect! Well written and well executed! I am all for a clean, real to life show that feels natural. This one did that for me. No crazy controlling parents. No crazy love triangle! It was clean smooth and full of heart, laughter, and love. Sometimes we need that especially in these days. And thank you for the ending!!! It was perfect! I was totally satisfied and glad to see no rushed ending. I loved that there was no breakup and that they worked everything out like real adults!

Acting/cast- loved them all! I watched “Put Your Head on My Shoulders” (several times now) with both Tang Xiao Tian and Fei Xing. I really liked them both but this time I am glad to see them both as the main leads! They have great chemistry! Xiao Tang, (and I had a hard time believing it was him at first because he has changed since Put Your Head on My Shoulders.. for the good!?) I have to say, has gotten so much taller and so much cuter! ?They both have matured a lot. Their acting has improved. I loved them in this story. They did and amazing job!

Music- I LOVE the music in this drama! I really hope they put the soundtrack out an Amazon so I can add it to my playlist.

Rewatch- YES! Added it to my Viki favorite list. I will be watching it over and over again! I am really hoping they put it on Amazon so I can buy it!

Great show

I really liked this show. I have watched it twice now. The soundtrack is awesome! I found it on Amazon and now own it! Some of the most beautiful music.

Show- was really well written and was executed perfectly. It is sad for the father of the son and mother of the daughter. I felt that the son’s hang up of his dad and her mom getting together was a bit much. In a way I understand it and I am proud of the parents finally putting their children’s love and future first so that they could find their happiness and still keep some peace. The sons mother was a total $&@#%! My husband always says that if they can make you hate them then they are a good actor/actress. Well she made me hate her! Lol Honestly she was a selfish woman and a cause to a lot of the problems with her failed marriage and her husbands unhappiness. But on the other hand the husband was no better. Pining for a lost love and making them all miserable for his lost first love. It was a good show!

Acting- as I mentioned in the “Story” the mother to the male lead did a great job of making me hate her. I really felt they all did a good job in their roles and pulled them off really well. I have seen the male lead in a few other dramas but this one I liked him in the best. Plus he is really cute especially with his hair they way they did it lol.

Music- awww my most favorite of the entire show. Bought the soundtrack on Amazon and listen to it and over 500 more asian drama soundtracks while sleeping at night haha. But this show is one of my favorite soundtracks.

Rewatch- been there, done that, and will watch it again!

Needs some work...

Ok I have a few things to nitpick about this show. So here it goes...

Story... I liked the storyline. I thought it was good. But it needed a TON and I mean a TON of work!

The main male lead has “love amnesia”. When he falls in love he forgets the main female lead. There were a few flashbacks on why this happens but nothing came of it. Someone in a tub with roses? But what happened? Why did it happen? So frustrating! All of a sudden he started to remember his past with her and that was pretty much the end of his love amnesia. ??‍♀️ I don’t get it. I am really confused. Why would you not finish it? I also felt there were a lot of other loose ends to some issues that did not finish or did not make sense in how they ended them. Like I said the storyline needed a TON of work.

If you are going to put out a show and want people to like it turn the music down so you can hear what they are saying. There were a lot of scenes the music was so loud that you could not hear what was being said. I had to turn it sown because it was so obnoxious! And what was up with the parts of no sound at all??? You can not hear them talk or anything. No music, no talking, just minutes of dead silence. So glad there was CC because I would have really marked this show down if I could not at least read what was going on or being said.

Also, when they “knock” on a door in some scenes there was no sound. Some of the sound was off track too! And the breathing!!! Omg! I heard more breathing than anything half the time. ?

Ok I am off my soapbox now. Lol
All in all I did “like” the drama. The last two episodes made up for a few of the problems. I really really liked the ending. Most dramas cut out the good stuff. This one did not disappoint me at all. The ending was fulfilling.

Music... drove me nuts! The audio was not good on this and I am kind of shocked they allowed it to show with all the sound issues they had. Some of the songs I would not mind to have but the music has just blah to me.

Acting... could have used some work. I felt it was just so so in some parts. maybe it was not so much as the acting but the script. It kind of reminded me of the drama “Well Intended Love” (the first one).

Rewatch? Yes, I would. But it will be a good long while before I do.

Some flaws but it is a good story

This show is a bit close to my heart. Not for the bullying part but for the part where she had a brain tumor. although that part did tear at my heartstrings. I felt for her every time they show bits and pieces of what happened to her and why she turned out the way she did.
I can sympathize with her because I went through surgery for a brain tumor at 22 yrs of age. It is not an easy thing to go through. One thing that really bothered me is if she had surgery for a brain tumor, make it more believable. Recovery time is long and if it was where they had to go through the skull they would shave the head where they did surgery at. And the bandage they had on her head was not believable. Lol sorry just a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Make it a bit more believable!! So for that part of the show I struggled a bit. That being said...

Story... could it use some work? Yes, but so can all shows. They are not perfect.
The storyline I loved! It broke my heart every time her friends ignored her or were rude to her. Their lack of acknowledging that they were in the wrong and put the entire thing on Ai Li Su only was really wrong. Lei Lei ticked me off because she really was selfish. She ditched Ai Li Su because she was keeping a secret for someone else. I get it was a secret that was kind of about her. But if she truly understood Ai Li Su she would not have treated her the way she did. She made me mad a lot of times. The other friend (sorry can’t remember her name lol) was a follower and weak. She did anything Lei Lei wanted her to. She was as much to blame as Lei Lei was. I am glad she was quicker to realize her mistake and showed remorse for her part. To bad Lei Lei did not. She was to much of a selfish, vain girl. Also, “Peter” had as much fault as any of them. Especially for not making it perfectly clear that he was wrong for making her promise to keep his secret. I get why he did it but he was at fault big time.
I wish the end had a bit more. Yes, I say this a lot! But it is true. It hinted at marriage and so on but not much more than that. I do like how they let you think she is gone at first and then she appears. Was a cute little twist.

Acting/Cast... I thought they all did a good job. I felt all their pain, happiness, uncertainty, betrayal, and love. I do think the actress who played Ai Li Su was perfect for the part. She did a good job at being more or less like a robot. She showed many sides to her acting. The one who played Lei Lei also did good at playing a selfish vain woman.

Music... I really loved! I hope I can find the soundtrack.

Overall it was an enjoyable show. I have watched it twice now and loved it both times. Again... really love the storyline. It was heartbreaking and then heartwarming. It is worth the watch even if you see it just once.

Great show!

This show kind of holds a special place in my favorites. Partly because it is centered around online games and it was one of my first Cdramas. I played EQ 1-2 with the hubby for years. So to see a show with something similar, kind of makes it a favorite of mine. Kind of brings back memories of when we played together?. Ok now to the show itself...

Story... first off I liked the story. Loved the parts that showed the actors in an online gaming world. I love how Yang Yang goes after the main actress. He sees her at first sight and falls for her. Ah yes... first and new love. I remember those days!

I had a huge problem though. I get that she is a reserved and pure girl. I was too. But man she held him back to much. She hardly kissed and then she made him wait two years before marriage or anything. I give him kudos for how patient he was. Shows he loves and respects her. And I get she probably wanted to finish college. But... come on! I think that is the one thing that I hate about this show! I was always taught “Short engagement, long marriage”. Glad I did it that way?. I would not have waited 2 yrs! We met and married within 5 months and going on 20+ yrs now. But this is my only hang up.

There are some really great parts in this show that I could watch over and over again! One of them is when she is tricked into going out to dinner with an old clan mate (or guild... I can not remember which one it is in this show) and ends up with her old clan. I love how she proves who she is and then when they are all wanting to meet her boyfriend! ??? The best part! It pops up on Facebook from time to time and I have to watch it! So funny!?

I will also say one thing... I think it could have been shortened from 30 episodes. Some parts I think could have been taken out. But it is what it is and I don’t dislike it because of that.

Acting... main actor/actress did a great job. There are parts of this show that I think they did really great in and I watch them over and over again. I really like Yang Yang. He is a great actor. I have seen many of his shows and he is really good.

Music... Yang Yang sings the main song in this show. It is almost the only song. And I FINALLY found it on Amazon and now listen to it over and over. One of my favorites.

Rewatch... yes! Already did once and will do it again.

Cute show

I have seen a lot of these types of shows lately. Call me a cheesy 40+ yr old but I never get tired of them. I watched Hallmark shows for years with my hubby. Now I watch these I think because there is a lot of story to them and not just one couples story but 2 or more. They also have a few hidden moments you don’t expect. That is the reason why I like them... oh! And the romance lol. So now for the show...

Story... was a well written and executed story. I liked it a lot. Not a ton of the love triangle. And not any really nasty people you want to kill?. Just a clean smooth love story. If I could buy the book I would and read it over and over again.

Acting... spot on. Loved each of the actors/actresses. They did a great job. Played there parts and executed them well.

Music... I hate to say this but I have almost 500 MP3’s of music from Kdramas and Cdramas. And this one (if Amazon has it) I would get so I could listen to it over and over.

Rewatch? Yep! Sure would. This is one of me favorites. Like I said... it is smooth and clean. Does not give me anxiety because of hateful wicked Moms or ex’s. Just make me happy. ?

Was a good show.

I have seen this twice now. First time I skipped a few ending episodes. I picked up real fast what had happened. The second time watching, I watched all of it. Sometimes I skip episodes because I am to impatient to know the outcome of the show. Other times I get bored and just want to know how it ends. This one was because I was to impatient to find out what happened!? I know bad me!?

The story was good. I really liked the character development. Yi Han was like a kid in his love for his manager but grow more mature with You You. I liked that. Trust me it was believable... I feel like I am still raising my hubby after 21 yrs of marriage??! If there is one complaint and the only reason why I marked the story down was because of the ending. I say it over and over but I know it will not change... please don’t make the main couples coming back together the LAST 3-10 minutes of the show!!! Please give us more of them and their happy ending! That is my BIGGEST pet peeve with these shows.

Actors did a great job. I really thought they made the story perfect.

Rewatch? Uh ya!

One of my first Kdramas that hooked me

I really liked this show the first time watching it. It is one of my first Kdramas that I watched. I really did like it but the second time around a noticed things about the story and acting that kind of bugged me.

Lee Min Ho, I just have to say, is such a cutie! I have seen him in a lot of shows and he is a good actor! He can play just about any role. I think he made this show enjoyable for me.

Ok he is not the only one! The first F4 guy that I thought was the cutest was Kim Hyun Joong‘s roll. And boy is he a cutie! This is where I first learned about flower boys! ?? And this show had 4 of them! Definite eye candy!

The FL, Gu Hye Seon, I think her character bugged me the most. She showed the least affection toward the ML. It bugged me the entire show! The ML tried so often to show her he cared... granted some times it was to much, but she still did not show much as in she was really interested in him.

The ending was to rushed. Give me more romance on their part especially since they had not really seen each other for a few years. I felt let down for all they went through and then the ending was like... blah! It left me empty. So I have to say it would be a while before I watch this show again.
