Injection of life and grit into S1's hobbled finish

I'm definitely the minority here, and maybe because I finished S1 right before starting S2, rather than years ago ... but I find the beginning of S2 much improved over the last episodes of S1.The acting is much better, writing is better, production is better, I actually like the color grading. Yes the trademark Wang Juan humor is still MIA, but at least they are pulling off the serious parts successfully unlike the end of S1.
