Very entertaining
I am surprised at the low ratings this is getting. I started watching kdrama during covid and while initially liking them all i recently found them getting repetitive and predictable. The last 2 series i really liked were The Gliry and Business Proposal.This story is funny..full of twists and the 24 short episodes add up to about 10 full length episodes you usually get. This prevents prefictabke misunderstandings meant to drag out the story line fir no purpose.
I thought the leads hsd chemistry and the acting by both was excellent. I rated it 9.5 as im 75% through it. It would take a really really bad lst 6 episides to make me lower it. And i dont expect that.

Waste o time
It had an interesting premise from the description but so many plot holes it bacame truly unwatcheable. I dont blame the actors who gave it theur best dhot but the director and scriptwriters should be blamed for overall guidsnce.Too many what the hell moments when you can only shake your head at what decisions the characters maje. Yes its fantasy but good fantasy deoends on people making understandable decisions given the situation they dace. These characters did not. I wont ger into soecifics as i dont want to spoil it...to be honest i dont know how it ends as i gave uo after yet another stupid decision 70% of the way through.
Female lead did the best she could but the make lead was handcifed by the scroot and direction into appearing stupid.
I guess you could say i did not enjoy it..a waste if a few hours and i couldnt even myster the interest to watch the last 60 minutes ti see what hapoened.

Confusing genre but enjoyable
The advertising and the first 2 episodes scream romantic comedy but that it certainly is not. Its a very gory and intense thriller with unepected plot twists.I note that many are unhappy with the violence and i can understand the disappointment for some although the opening scenes certainly gave a clue this was no rom com. I give it high marks for the guts of the writers in putting romance and comedy into what is essent8ally a horror story. The two leads were really convincing and the other cast plated their roles well. Come to this with a n open mind you will laugh at some scenes and hide your eyes at others.

One of the best
Excellent story, well acted. The first epidode was boring so i stopped watching but a friend recommended i carry on. Eisodes 2 through 16 were fantastic. Highly satisfying but i dont know how to describe it. Not a comedy, not a thriller... just an engrossing drama which i have rewatched several times. This must go down as a highlight for each of the actors careers. No bad performances here with a satisfying and moving conclusion. Teally well done but you need to waych the boring first episode to understand the whole series.Was this review helpful to you?
Arguably the best i have watched
Usually, even in great series there is a bad episode or a plt twist that annoys you. Series such as was it love or familiar wife were great but this series is , for me, perfect. Great cast, plot and genuinly funny. This is THE best kdrama i have watched. It grabs you right from the beginning and never stops. Any stupid misunderstandings are resolved just as they would be in real life, not dragged out over several episodes to create false excitement. The endin was satisfactory and there were no really stupid side characters that serve no purpose.Was this review helpful to you?
Better than i expected
After a mumber of series i just gave ip on after a few episodes i was not exoecting much. The initial episode was hood but i found the lead actress a bit irritating. As the episodes passed i realised this was just her attempt at showing a young kid and as subsequent episodes had her character as older i found her scting ok. The story had a few holes but it moved along quite well until the last 2 or 3 which seemed drawn out unnnessarily . The whokhe series would have worked better if thry had edited out enough stuff fir teo less epsodes.The above lines may read l8ke i didnt like it but i did. Worth a watch and the first new series i have completed in a while. I give it 8.5 which is a good score for me as i have only rated 2 series a 10.

Pleasant surprise
After watching all the big name drams im in the process of going through lesser known series to enjoy. The risk is they are often lesser known for a good reason. Ie. They were not that good. All too oten i invest the time to start a series byt afte 6 or 7 episides i give uo through boredom. Generally you have to start 5 or 6 of these series to find one you want to watch to the end.A long preamble but this was definitely one i wanted to watch to the end . A married couple about to divorce go back 20 years to 18 again. You think the premise is straightforward.. they meet again and rediscover their loce but the plot did more than that ....throwing in some twists that you didnt expect. Emotional and funny... a satisfying feel good series, well written, well acted and well directed. It fully deserves the overall 9 rating i gave it.

Unexpectedly good
Given the repatively low score i wasnt expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The story was well told and unlike many dramas the ending was not obvious. The two main female leads had similar screen time so you were not sure who the hero would end up with. Quite moving and funny at times. Much much better than i was expecting. The characters thrown in for comedy value were not as stupid as many other series and i was nice yo see Park Min Young as a young actress learning her craft. Engrossing
When i first started watching Kdrama i tended to give everything high marks as i watched the best. Niw i am watching more new series my marks have dipped. The last series that really engrossed me was Tge Glory.This series was fantastic..i watched all 8 episodes in 2 days. Great story and acting. Really really impressed. I previously did not rate the lead actor but boy did he do great work this time. The supporting actors were all great and the story line was very impressive. Sone episides were an hour some just 30 odd minutes but the time flew by.
