The bitter taste of success, or how to sell yourself.
The drama was haotic at many points, the acting was debatable to say the least, but overall I liked it. The drama was interesting and I was curious about all the characters and their fates.Music did not play a big role in the drama. At least that was my impression. Many scenes took place with the same melodic note. There were very few songs, more instrumental pieces.
For Korean realities, I think that the drama touched on a controversial topic: ubiquitous sponsorship, i.e. prostitution among famous people.
I would like to watch a similar drama about the double lives of stars with a better scenario. Such stars who sell their body in exchange for fame. Without the embellished reality and naivety that are often in dramas. But it's probably only Netflix that would go for such an honest project. There was a lot of truth here, I suppose, but nonetheless, I think more could have been shown on this topic.

The music in the drama was perfectly matched to the scenes, I liked all the songs.
The acting was brilliant, especially with Kim Go Eun, Park Jinyoung. I will remember their scenes for a long time. Their shared scenes moved me, made me happy, or saddened me. For such acting duos, it is worth watching Korean dramas.
The animation part was interesting, funny, touching, never boring.
I will definitely watch the drama again. I've already done that with a lot of episodes. It does not get boring, even though I know some scenes by heart.

I was completely immersed in the story presented by the creators of the drama. The plot, pace of action, characters, music, cinematography, and finally the final episode were perfect for this type of story.
There was, is, and will be evil, but this evil also creates people who fight against it. A story without end.
From me, the drama received a solid 10 for all elements. Because if there were any shortcomings, the creators of the drama hid them well from me, who was eager for each next episode.

"Law is powerless before power."
"The Devil Judge" is a drama that brought me a lot of emotions, surprises, entertainment and even serious questions about the meaning of some life issues. I really like how the writer wrote the story from the beginning to the end of the drama. What I liked the most about the drama is showing various characters whose behavior can often be questioned. I don't watch dramas only for characters that suit me, but also for those who would be a "challenge" because of their views on life, decisions they make, etc.
I questioned the main character's behavior for a long time. I finally accepted who Yo Han (The Devil Judge) was, but I wouldn't say that I started to support his life philosophy. But I accepted that from his point of view it was the only right way how he perceived people and what he was doing.
It was a big advantage to show theoretically dystopian political world in the drama. Because "dystopia" was only an excuse to criticize the modern world, politics, law, media, as well as "ordinary" people who do "ordinary" evil. In the drama, elements such as revenge, justice, manipulation, greed, ruthlessness, evil, morality, lawlessness, anger, tragedy play an important role.
In my opinion, the fate of the characters turned out logically in relation to the events in the drama. The dark, dramatic atmosphere and many tragic scenes are often depressing. The drama's overall conclusion about human nature is far from optimistic.
The music harmonized perfectly with the drama scenes. I liked the drama very much. All the actors did a great job, in particular: Ji Sung (Kang Yo Han), Kim Min Jung (Jung Sun Ah), Park Jin Young (Kim Ga On), Baek Hyun Jin (President Heo Joong Se), Kim Jae Kyung (Oh Jin Joo), Park Gyu Young (Yoon Soo Hyun), Jeon Chae Eun (Kang Elijah), Jang Young Nam (Cha Kyung Hee), Ahn Nae Sang (Min Jung Ho), Lee Hae Woon (Juk Chang), Moon Dong Hyeok (Lee Young Min), Jung In Gyeom (Chairman Seo Jung Hak).
"We should make sure they pay for their crimes".
I will definitely re-watch the drama.

The drama is good, even very good in many moments, but its characters are not likeable. There are perhaps a few characters in the background that might be considered nicer. In general, a very human, but therefore ugly, picture of human behavior is shown here. The main character, a famous young actor, is irresponsible, immature, egocentric and selfish. The people around him have a lot of flaws, and those that don't make them nicer, quite the opposite. The drama is about the practically male world of the entertainment industry, because several of the most important characters are men. Women are in the background here and, apart from maybe one or two, they are not shown in a favorable light. But it makes the drama all the more realistic because it shows the Korean mentality also in the entertainment industry. If a producer has to choose in a conflict between an actor and an actress, he will choose the actor. Isn't that so very close to reality. It's painfully close.
Drama has good music. In my opinion, you can watch it more than once, because a lot of scenes are very funny, a lot of very reality in showing the entertainment industry, as if they were from the "truth book" about this industry.
