Amazing story and acting, uneven ending
This is an amazingly creative writing, a very unusual Chinese xianxia trope, which is a high praise.Acting, cast, music are all on point. There are some episodes first half that’s more draggy than necessary but for most part you can’t skip. For this I deducted half point.
The other half point deducted is the ending. It could have been done better. Don’t worry it is a good ending but having invested 31 chapters, we deserved more closures to all the characters.
Overall highly recommended and enjoyable. This year is truly a good year for cdrama watchers.

Great in beginning but fizzled out towards the end
I've got hooked from Ep1 with the strong female CEO storyline and the acting from both the leads are top-notch. Interestingly, the title 'Begin Again' contains multiple meanings as the story progresses as almost everyone has to begin again at some point. Some poor plot points here and there, and the ending is certainly not as satisfying as the rest of the journey. It wraps up all the threads nicely and overall done a great job in giving so many couple leads (there are 3 couples) their airtime. I just had major issue with the middle big plot point and the ending which is a bit too convenient.Overall good story, great acting and an enjoyable watch.

Not My Type But...
I don't like melodrama type of shows, especially those in fantasy genre because it means they can just add zeros behind the years to make it work (eg pining for lover for 60,000 years). My cup of tea is usually rom-com but this show really pulls me in and in spite of 49 episodes (another reason not to like fantasy genre) which normal has tons of fillers and unnecessary side characters that don't add to the story, it surprisingly works.I shed tears in almost every episode after the midway, it was really that good. There is no 'boring' episodes and oh, the OST is simply amazing.
If you are into xianxia and you don't mind bittersweet storyline that span across a few lifetimes (and lives), this is an especially great show. The CGI really delivers and the fight scenes are really believable and at the level of some movies.
