Even though it’s a different type of humor, both series are truly hilarious. For both shows, I needed some time to get used to the strange sound effects in the first episode. But gradually, I began to appreciate the humor. Both shows are a breath of fresh air if, like me, you’re a bit tired of all the dramatic BL series that keep recycling the same clichés. If you’re looking for a similarity, though: in both series, the characters sort of live in the same house, and there’s an interesting, and especially funny, power dynamic between the main characters.

both series have:

- childhood friends turn into lovers
- one in the showbizz and the other one has a job out of the spotlight
- their relationship is causing trouble with fans, sponsers etc.
- both series have green flags in them

Both series are sweet bl's about the struggles in showbizz. But in 25 Ji, Akasake de both main characters are actors and in city of stars only one of them is an actor. The biggest similar thing is that they are both BIG GREEN flags. <3
