Love it or hate it
Based on previous reviews people either love or hate this show. I personally found it totally binge worthy. My favourite part is the bromance. The drama depicts four very different men who have forged a great relationship. They spur each other onwards, giving courage and counselling, sharing fears and pain. It is a truly special thing when men become brothers.
I love that all the women have have strength of character, they are shown to be equals in their relationship with their male counterparts.
I think all the rom-com tropes are covered, so have a go of trope bingo.

A fairy floss show
This is a fairy floss show. Sweet, no substance and quick to consume. This show is perfect if you are looking for a angst free romantic tv show. What I liked about it was I just needed a quick k-drama fix without angst. I wanted fairy floss.
What I would have liked to see is the boyfriend step up his game if he didn’t like seeing someone else beside his girl. Maybe another 2 episodes would have given the writers enough space to give the fellas opportunity to make some moves on the girl.
And I really have nothing else to say about the show but apparently MyDramaList is more finicky about word count (or character count) than most lecturers as it won’t let me post without hitting the minimal character count. Unlike my lecturers MDL doesn’t care if this final paragraph has nothing to do with the drama at all.

Wow! Just wow!
This has been one of the best cdramas I’ve seen. Brilliant acting, storyline and pace. Humour, romance (without the cringe factor), love triangle, action, political conspiracy - its got it all. The acting was spot on. The FL nailed the girl pretending to be a man character. I never felt like this show dragged. The opening credit soundtrack was so good I actually found myself not skipping (which I usually do).Two negatives 1) overuse of flashbacks 2) you need to ignore discrepancies/plausibility throughout. If you can ignore them it’ll be a better experience.

High end crash
The storyline really was the usual narcissistic rich and successful ML with the sweet innocent FL. There is some character development for the ML in that he actually has to work out what it means to fall into serious like and his faithful lackey tries to help him through it. It‘s very cliche but it’s my weakness in storyline but then I also grew upon fairy tales. The soundtrack was terrible. For the first time I actually enjoyed the fact that because I was reading subtitles I could turn off the sound.
The acting was not much better. The only thing I really don’t like about many Asian dramas is their acting ability when crying. I realise that I this case it was meant to be exaggerated for comedic effect but this time was a little overboard.
The best thing about it is that episodes are very short.

Finally a Thai Drama I’ll watch
This is the unicorn of Thai drama there is no rape, abuse (physical, emotional or sexual) or cheating. I general I can’t stand Th-Drama for this reason. What we do have is a fairy floss sweet show (sweet, no substance but you can’t help wanting more). Misunderstandings don’t last long. The FL may be forgiving but not tolerant. The ML may be territorial but he doesn’t meddle.
If you like angsty and twisty plots then a highly recommend that you don’t bother watching this show - you will be disappointed.

Great story even better in fast forward
The storyline was great. It was like someone took all the usual tropes and mixed them into the plot (sadly that did include the common LGBT+ character reps as the comedy act).Where this lost points was the slow pace. I watched most at x1.25 the speed and things still dragged and I didn’t feel like I missed a thing.
Bonus points for the lack of abuse between leads. Also princess Grandma needs an honourable mention for showing noble character. Here is one character who had all the lakorn attributes to be vengeful to FL. Instead what we get is a loving, caring person showing truely noble character.

Sweet BL
I almost didn’t watch this show because of all the bad reviews. What this drama is just a sweet romance.
I liked it because I don’t really enjoy BL that seems to either be soft porn, toxic relationships or focused on the ‘but I don’t want to be attracted to a guy’ thing. It lacks the trope of the over the top comedy trans students which I find so annoying.
Normally I’m pretty good at seeing how the plot would go but I had a couple of pleasant surprises. While the story could easily have stopped after episode 8 the rest was still pretty good.

I really don’t know why but I was hooked
This show was terrible but I was hooked. The acting was poor. Any fight scenes were pathetic (even a Star Wars Storm Trooper can shoot better than these bad guys)
The soundtrack was terrible.
The storyline was unbelievable.
There was so much unnecessary footage that should have been edited out. I fast forwarded the show so much that each episode took just over half and hour to watch.
So why on Earth was I totally hooked?
I suspect it is the characteristics of the FL and the fact she had the best acting. She’s smart, mouthy, with a little kick ass. The next best character/actor is her high school friend who she drags into frequent trouble. It’s a shame they didn’t ramp up his part in the storyline.
Defying logic that I really had better things to do (or watch) than watch this very poorly executed show, I was hooked and I enjoyed watching.
