Just finished watching. It has been a long time since I cried my eyes out because of a movie. It feels good to let it all out. Do you know what is awesome with this movie ? It's that you know exactly what is going to happen but you can still feel it deeply because it is beautifully made. This is a real piece of art.

Well, the story is pretty much very predictable once you read the synopsis and after a few minute in the movie, I personally had figured out what was going to happen. Also, be prepared, the beginning is quite slow but this kind of pace matches this kind of movie. The story isn't particularly new. You will probably get a feeling of deja-vue. The story alone I would rate 3-4/10.

But what bring the grade up are the characters. I loved them, completely. They were so real, so 3d, so youthful and refreshing. I could see bit of myself in them. That's is why I rated the story 7/10. Because even if this kind of story have been done millions of times, the characters were actually interesting. They weren't those 2d (even 1d at time), stereotyped characters that we see everywhere nowadays. The friendship was beautifully portrayed. At the beginning, I was afraid that the little bit of romance would ruin it all, as it's often the case, but don't worry the romance is well balanced in this one. About the ending, I have heard people say that it was disappointing and selfish. But, I think that the ending is the strongest part of this story. Any other ending would have been disappointing. It's a very realistic ending.

Acting/Cast 10/10, Awesome, perfect !

The music. So perfectly on point. Honestly I generally don't pay much attention to music as long as it is not bothersome. But, I remember every single song of this movie because every single song went perfectly with the flow.

Rewatch Value : This the kind of movie that is actually pretty boring to rewatch, so I don't see the need. But I guess, if in a distant future, I feel the need for a tear-jerking movie, this one would be an option

Overall, It's not the movie of the year that's for sure. The plot has been overused, that's definitely true. But, if you want to see real art, if you are ready to let yourself be immersed, if you are disposed to open your heart, I promise you that you can have a wonderful experience with this movie. If you have time, give it a try.

This is a solid drama: it is exactly what it sets out to be and does not pretend to be something else (I don't know if that makes sense :) )

Strong points:
- the main characters were outstanding
- the romance was great
- the cases were realistic

Weak points:
- all the other characters were generic
- the cases were not exciting: it's good that we had realistic storylines but unfortunately, the director and writers failed to make them interesting for the viewers
- the antagonists were too flat, too predictable

The strongest point of this drama are the main characters. They are amazing. This is the first time that I genuinely liked and empathized with the rich, arrogant male lead from the get-go. This is all because of the first episode. We get to see different sides of his character. He is flawed for sure but what makes him different from the typical rich and the arrogant male lead is his honesty. This man was so honest about his feelings, I literally had goosebumps.

The female lead was incredible. She was not generic. She was a determined woman with a clear purpose. She had her strength and weaknesses. She is flawed for sure and I disliked her after the 1st episode, which is a great thing. How many female leads have enough personality to be disliked from the 1st episode? I enjoyed watching her grow throughout the episode.

The romance was mature and solid. The characters knew what they wanted and tried their best to get it.
The leads really balanced each other and that was refreshing to see.

But outside of the main characters and their romance. Everything was either meh or okay. The cases were okay but not memorable. The second leads were so useless. Honestly, what was the point of that second lead couple?
Most of the other characters were just part of the background.

It's a good drama but it does break some stereotypical tropes. But don't expect anything amazing

Beautiful but not perfect, that's how I would summarize this drama.
This drama is only two episodes and it needed only two episodes.
This is not the best romance drama I ever saw or the most original one or the most exciting one.
But this was nicely done, straightforward, poetic, real and just... beautiful.

Just as the synopsis says, this is the story of a woman who is afraid of being in a relationship (of any kind) with other people and a man who is afraid of being alone. This is the story of how they clash, their differences and their similarities. This is the story about human relationships (of any kind).

This is a character driven story. The characters are real. I loved and hated the main female lead. I hated her weaknesses as they looked too similar to mine. I loved them because they made her more human, relatable. I liked how she evolved in the span of those 2 hours and enjoyed seeing her grow. From my point of view, the male lead was less developed than the female lead and didn't grow much but he was likable and real enough. I would have appreciated seeing him grow too but I liked how he helped the female lead grow.

The acting was good. The main cast managed to bring to life the main characters. Kudos to them.

The music didn't play a very big role, it was mainly a way for the female lead to escape from the reality. I liked the piano piece but there was nothing really memorable to me when it comes to the music in this drama.

This drama has flaws: some part can feel boring (a little bit), aside from the main leads all the other characters are rather 2d, we could have gone further into the male lead character and I don't know but it just didn't feel perfect overall. My rating may seem a bit high with all those flaws.
However, I enjoyed the psychological aspect of the story and this was more than a love story. This was also about discovering oneself and overcoming the past. Also, just something about the female lead struck a chord in me. That's why I gave this a 9/10.

Maybe I expected too much after seeing the cast. Maybe the trailer put my hopes up. Maybe the good reactions influenced me. Maybe. But the end result was quite disappointing.

Story:
I waited for the big twist. I waited for the plot to develop. Till the last scene, I was still waiting. But there was nothing. Nothing big or surprising really happened. There was nothing to question, to look forward to. There was no plot. thus, there was no plot hole just unanswered questions and random facts never explained.
The story was really the biggest let down because there was so much room for so much stuff to happen but nothing happened. I felt like a documentary moving from 1 trial to the next, one place to the next. the movie explained us the process of the afterlife and it didn't seem as challenging as it sounded.

Characters:
Every single "character" was flat, empty. As a viewer, there was no one you could get attached too. Honestly, I don't even know how to judge the acting as there was no characters to begin with. There were scene where characters were crying but I didn't even understand why they were sad. I felt so detached from the whole thing. There 1 scene I found touching but the building up leading to it was bad so it ended up expected and not so moving. The whole movie, I felt like the directing was more to blame than the acting (I am biased tho).
The trials were inconsequential. Everything was "building up" to the last one but again the building up part was severely lacking.

Overall:
However, one interesting thing is that I managed to finish the movie without feeling too forced. When I think back, the movie had all elements to make it really boring and long but still I watched it till the end without felling too annoyed. If I were to make a comparison, I would say that this movie is like a gift. A gift wrapped inside various layer of boxes. Each boxes is wrapped with a very pretty wrapping paper. As you move from one box to the next, the paper keep getting prettier and you expect a really good gift since the paper is so beautiful. But the last box is actually empty. The background of the movie was really beautiful, there were flashy (and useless) fighting scene but there was no heart, no plot, no characters, no gift.
