Ok that kiss just wow! This is just a rather simple feel good movie that good guilty pleasure stuff. Hot male lead and the plot is pretty generic and so are the characters so not exactly memorable but entertaining nonetheless. I liked how they showed a paparazzo getting a taste of their own medicine -- she gets mobbed by people and realizes the reality of it. And also talked about what goes on in the mind of an anti fan. But like I said the movie doesn't take itself seriously and is fun to watch.

Super intense movie! It's disturbing for sure, some severe gore and plenty of gritty imagery. But its definitely worth the pain and disgust you feel watching the antagonist act as pure evil and the protagonist, whose entire life changes in one moment when his wife is brutally murdered struggling with the pain of loss and believing that only revenge will be justice he needs. I honestly don't have any problems with this one because it was well made, well acted, well written. But the thrill and disturbing path of the protagonist becoming darker as time passes was just heartbreaking. I loved the way it was made, from everything from snow falling to the cries of pain you can feel it. I thought the ending was just as brilliant as the whole movie.

I started watching the movie out of nowhere and ok I've been tired of fluff and so this came highly recommended and I understand it now why so many people like this movie. This is the kind of film you wish film festivals were full of. I'm a huge fan of foreign cinema and Asian cinema is no exception. But I feel like when a lot of people watch foreign stuff they quickly start comparing with Hollywood so if marvel movies and Disney is your thing you should probably steer clear of this one. I love that Asian cinema is the way it is and sure there's trash everywhere and you'll find that cringey crap anywhere but if you need a break from Disney and Marvel or if you're like me and enjoy serious films this one is a must watch. At the surface it looks like any other horror flick, it has everything a horror enthusiast would love, plenty of gruesome scenes, chopped off limbs, people's heads lopped off and all of that. But at it's core it's very much a psychological thriller. It's my favorite genre and this movie didn't disappoint. You sit down and can't get up until the climax and the ending was perfect as far as I'm concerned. The acting is top notch and the main protagonist is basically an anti hero of sorts and not a "good" person because he's a former cop and works as a pimp. And almost forced the girl to work when she wasn't willing. But naturally his character changes along the way and well you just have to watch it. And like I said acting is great overall but the chilling way the killer works and his inability to fathom emotion the actor portrayed it so well. So yes, all in all a real story with a real tragedy and what makes it more horrific is the fact that you know it could be anyone's reality. Beautiful film.

This movie is super intense! Plot what plot but you'll get two full hours of people beating the crap out of each other. The action is well choreographed though, and it's gritty and gruesome which I liked but it all felt superficial. Fine if you want to watch something action and extremely violent. For me I didn't hate it but nothing remarkable either. The action and violence was absolutely the only redeeming quality for me. One thing I did like was that the characters were all gray almost black but not quite which is more realistic I guess.

I really like this show but the thing is I happen to like the cast especially had a total crush on Lee Sunbin. She's so hot! And don't even get me started on Seo In-guk ???? honestly that guy is so gorgeous and on top of that he can act! But I absolutely got addicted to this drama. And then there was the whole wish fullfilment scamming the bad guys lol I admit it was so fun! But ok I feel like even though I liked this drama I feel like it wasn't something I can rate as high it lacked somehow in some ways, like for instance the going to prison for two years was completely pointless! Because it doesn't add anything to the story. A lot of things happening were the same and again lack of proper action and not enough emotion. Also, I'm sorry I didn't find the female lead role attractive at all, so I was always shipping Seo In-guk with Sunbin I'm sorry. They actually had chemistry. That one scene where she lashed out at him and he pats her head *swoooooooon* I feel like they should have just treated the tax collector chick and in guk as a past story rather than an actual main ship, because their 'love' or whatever just wasn't believable. Anyway the romance part isn't a major aspect of the drama so there's that. Anyway in conclusion, it's a good drama absolutely watch it entertaining and because ok Seo In-guk looks HOT HOT HOT ????

This movie was so full of emotion! Starts out giving a look at the life the protagonist Kim Go Eun lives with "Mother" - the boss of a loan shark business played exceptionally well by Kim Hye Soo. There are many other children in the company but there are only four children who live with Mother in the same house. Two boys, and two girls. One of the girl is a junkie, and Kim Go Eun becomes like mother when she grows up, and all the kids are tough but Kim Go Euns character has been living such a life and even seems to be used to it when suddenly mother sends her on an errand to collect from a man. But when the girl goes to the apartment she finds Park Bo Gum living there and he tells her politely his father isn't a bad person, he will pay off the debt and asks for some time. She realizes that he's a good guy so tries to tell him his father has abandoned him but he won't believe it. She gives him some time but then she starts having feelings toward Bo Gum and he seems to like her as well. Anyway that's when everything goes to shit. This movie was a bit like Hwayi, at the core it was about dysfunctional families and how you get trapped by the idea of a family even if it literally murders your happiness. This is very serious extreme kind of violence so if you get triggered easy might want to pass on this one but otherwise this movie is super intense and beautiful.

I really like this noir film. I'm not a fan of either of the main leads so I'm going to be unbiased but I thought they both did a pretty solid job as far as acting was concerned. Both roles seemed to have been made for them. I liked Jong Dae's inherent innocence that Yong ki completely lacks. Their characters are in similar circumstances but they both have different ways of dealing with the situation. Where the younger Jong Dae ends up living a rather destitute life because he continues to stay loyal to his gang boss who isn't in the business anymore and runs a laundry business to provide for his daughter and Jong Dae who he considers a son. On the other hand Yong ki ends up becoming the henchman to a very dangerous man and is constantly looking for ways to screw people over for his benefit. It's this difference in their personalities that really makes this movie so interesting because you can sense that despite everything they do love each other. But when the two of them start a gang war so they can get out of their misery, things don't go as planned. I personally liked the slow pacing it made the violence more intense and emotions more heightened. You feel everything... every stab, every tear, every single time they get hurt or hurt someone else you feel it. I absolutely think it was the perfect ending.

Another movie with really messed up topics. You feel for the main character because of how desperate he is and keeps getting screwed over sometimes through his own fault. And other times because of his acting job. You can see something he's passionate about turning into something ugly. This one is full of subtext and definitely not always easy to watch but absolutely loved it. Oh and there are adult topics and mature scenes btw so yes. The scene that really hurt was when Ma Dong Suk literally plays with Lee Joon and his friends because he's a gangster.

I had such an amazing time watching this show I didn't even realize I was close to finishing it ^_^ seriously 20 episodes and it never felt like it was dragging. I feel like there should have been more actual action than sitting around solving crimes if they had done that this would be a much higher rating. But when the action was there it was done so well! Especially the angst just amazing, you truly feel for the characters. This show is definitely emotional but not as angsty. It's not gritty or anything just more light feeling except for a few hurt scenes they did those so well! So yes, a show worth watching that will get you emotional and the characters were memorable and likeable. I especially loved the love hate relationship between Lee seungi and Cha Seung Won. You never know what's really going on I enjoyed the mystery. And Go Ara she's good fit for the role. Of course I can't forget Ahn Jae Hyun, he's so beautiful and his bromance with Park Jung min was so adorable!!!

This was a truly engaging, fun, meaningful film! Just wow even after watching it a few times I still get the same feels! Two people one straight, one gay get into the bakery business and hire other people who have their own issues and hilarity ensues! Okay let's face it everything they say about Kim Jaewook he's all that and more! But I love that they touched the topic of homophobia in a natural way. Showing the male lead himself being that way himself due to the same old toxic behaviors people develop due to fragile male egos and toxic masculinity. And just the scenes were so damn hot lmao even though the four main characters are so different from each other and mostly straight the chemistry between them was so good! Especially the way Yoo Ah In gets so protective over Jaewook that was so adorable!!!! But this movie also touches some harsher topics and even that they did well. Truly an amazing watch!

An average show which I was getting into but the first male lead just not my thing I guess. I honestly started watching for Hongbin because being an idol is one thing but he's such a good actor on top of that so seeing him waste as a second lead here when the first lead his acting skills were truly lacking it just bugged me too much. Initially I started liking the characters but then it was the same old same old and that's fine if you have a first male lead you actually like. Which in this case didn't happen for me so I don't know I just couldn't enjoy it

OK I laughed and cried at Sehun and Gwangsoo bromance lmao they were so EXTRA! And ok, EXO they're all so beautiful and talented it's unfair! Seriously, everyone's acting was on point. Chanyeol was your Korean variety handsome idol who bullies the main female lead because he's in love with her. D.O. is the sweet and caring second lead who falls hard for the female lead too. Baekhyun was the innocent and cute perpetrator (so basically himself lol) and Sehun was the diva maknae (so also himself :') ) The rest had cameos, and ok I really miss Tao and he's so beautiful. Xiumin, Kai, Chen, Lay, Tao, are overseas traveling and Suho is in the hospital after a serious leg injury. Anyway the basic premise is a real die hard EXO fan living a normal life with too many disasters gets new neighbors. And the new neighbors are none other than EXO. I have to say this one is definitely guilty pleasure, wish fullfilment but they did such a good job! It felt complete and satisfying despite the length. And honestly Sehun and Baekhyun were HILARIOUS. I've seen this drama so many times but I still laugh and cry like the first time.

I've pretty much been crying since the first episode but the last two episodes god! Even the loving moments got me emotional. This is the kind of drama that really gets to you. Acting is so good throughout, I'm not going to even start talking about just how beautiful Kim Junmyeon is because trust me that's not the only thing good about this show. This is like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, had the same kind of amazing acting, plot, direction, angst. It's dark but not too dark, it's romantic but not too cheesy, it's just the right amount of guilty pleasure, and wish fullfilment coupled with a fantastic script. It's deep, meaningful, poetic. No annoying females, and the love was FELT not just a bunch of confession scenes, and the brilliance of the lead actors made it not only a pleasure for the eyes but also for the heart. He's not just some hot, loaded caricature of a chaebol and she's not in love with him because he acts like a jerk to her. The way they talked about the nature of any idol and fan relationship, they don't dismiss it because not every fan is a sesaeng and not every idol is a pretentious overbearing asshole. They talked about issues like stalking, and for once it wasn't encouraged or justified. The way 'fans' react if god forbid their bias starts going out with someone or falls in love. The truth is if you can't be supportive of their happiness you should definitely stop calling yourself a 'fan.' Anyway, all I want to say is if you love kpop, kdrama, if you love an idol and want Suho to melt you with his gaze and serenade you with his beautiful voice WATCH THIS DRAMA. The best part is it will take you a full 3 hrs but at the same time, like many other short drama where you feel like it was disjointed or disappointing because there isn't enough time to even enjoy the couples time together, this one will leave you completely satisfied.

This was really cute and I liked the concept of the drama. It's about having a dream and not giving up on it. Acting wise ok all over it could have been better, I mean Xiumin did such a phenomenal job in Seondal but this was not so great production wise in general. But I still enjoyed it. Xiumin looked real boyfriend material so I can tell you that I was entertained! I liked the Poirot bit it felt original to me . Never seen a story about it before. The female lead is cute and dorky but it goes well with the look of the show

Ok yes, this is basically an hour and a half long CF but do you think this is the only one? Lol According to current research, every korean drama contains anywhere from fifty to 150 advertising placements. Bad Papa broke the record at a whopping 400. So, setting that incredible fact aside, I found this particular CF very watchable. It was fun, it didn't take itself seriously so ended up being whimsical. Our h gets a chance through some magic to have six first kisses. A woman hands her a bunch of cards each with a black silhouette. Once the magic begins, our H ends up in an alternate reality where she is still the same mall employee but where Lee Joon gi isn't an actor but an IT hotshot who happens to be her childhood love. But the minute things started heating up, our h is launched back in time to the same moment where it all began. And so our H discovers this is yet another reality where Park Hae Jin is her rich boss. He's also into her. But even this time when they kiss it rewind again. This time she gets the message that every time she kisses she'll end up reversing time. So this time around she decides to not kiss Park Hae Jin. And so the story progresses from a childhood oppa romance with Lee Joon gi, to an office romance with Hae Jin, to an action romance with Ji Chang-wook, to a student teacher rom com with Kai as her student but Kai is still an EXO member, to a melodramatic makjang with Taecyeon, and lastly shooting a CF with Lee Jong Suk. Each person basically teaches her something about her self and every time she meets the person she always thought was out of her league, confesses their love, her confidence increases until one day everything reverses yet again. This time walking right up to her is Lee Minho. And she hears that he's a writer so because everything in the past went so well she ends up being bold enough to flirt with him. I liked the idea behind the drama. That sometimes the only thing standing in our way is our own hangups. Also, I like that they defended the idea of dating different people instead of just having one experience because that's what makes you mature enough to find the person who is the right fit for you. Now, sure they were all gorgeous, no doubt, but I don't know why Kai's part was my favorite! Maybe I'm biased and so what but he's so beautiful and charming and I lost it when he started to dance. Very fun watch!
