I am a big fan of the anime and the Japanese versions of this drama and I have watched the Korean version of this show too but to me this is the worst version. I am perfectly okay with changing things because of the different cultural differences that is fine but still as a fan of the original shows and content there's certain scenes that you expect and really enjoy and you don't get that at all in the series. I feel like they rushed through and instead of having everything in just one season they should have just stuck with them in high school and not done any of their college Years . Also I really really love Chris and she does not show up at all in this series which just makes Kings storyline even more sad that he's just lonely at the end.
I really enjoy this remake. I was pleasantly surprised with how much they stick to the storyline considering the last Thai remake of a Korean drama that I watch was not very good. In fact I would say that this version of the story was better than the original Korean. I like how they change certain aspects to make it more modern but at the same time you really got a feel for the Royal Family and tradition. I would also like to say that the main antagonist is for more evil in this version than the original Korean so it made it far more dramatic. The only downside is that the kiss scenes were s*** they did a lot of turn my head to make the illusion that they kiss instead of actually kissing.
