Sorry if my review is so long, bt if you take it in a good way then this means that the show must be so AWESOME that it has such a long review right?;D

(This is my first time writing a review so don't judge!;P)

I personally as you can see, have given this show a 10/10 in everything. I too at the start when i read the plot of the show wasn't as keen on watching it for some no apparent reason, however what dragged me in was the fact that HE CAN READ MINDS?! how does that work? and also the hype of the actor Lee Jong Suk, when he was in school 2013, i thought to my self "lets really see how good he is" mind you i thought that before watching school 2013, so i really didn't know HOW GOOD OF AN ACTOR HE WAS AND IS!

The show personally is my most most favorite show EVER!! I definitely recommend YOU watch this show because each episode always has something going on and it doesn't drag one bit! The plot personally is one of my favorite plots, as it's so well written. As the show goes on you can perfectly see the characters growing, as well as the story getting more and more interesting.

Trust me every time you watch one episode you think "oh my god! whats going to happen next?" it kinda keeps you on your toes, but also makes your heart flutter now and then and gets you laughing and full of joy but also scared like "crap crap crap crap crap" and sad!
It makes you feel all the emotions sometimes in just one episode, which is amazing!

The cast is great and i think that, it is also partly the reason why the show is doing so so so well! They seem like one of the best casts so far! The main leads are great together even with the age difference, there romance is simple, cute and just hdiwibvbv.

If you enjoy shows that have romance then this is for you.
If you enjoy shows with a bit of mystery in, then this is for you.
If you enjoy shows with laughter and awkwardness, then this is for you.
If you enjoy shows with friendships, promises, and values then this is for you.

This show definitely suits everyone's taste! I think i'm going to be re-watching this show quite a few times!:D:D:D

Hope you found the review useful.

I love sex in the city with the four girls living independently and taking on the world. This is like that but Korean and the age range is young cause these guys are in college. But it’s all so so good. It’s so funny and the girls are adorable and relatable. Makes me excited to get to their age and live life so youthfully. They make you feel like your 20s are hard but they can also be the best time of your life if you surround yourself with the right people.
Also it seems like a happy go lucky show but it has its own mysteries and that’s actually fitted and written well in the show.
Ive already rewatched it twice and I probably will rewatch it again soon lol.
It’s so good, so precious and so youthfully.

So, I began watching father is strange because it was on the KBS World YouTube page and I was like why not, haven’t got anything else to watch. Initially, I was very hesitant because I have seen 50+ episode dramas before and i know that if it’s not done well, it can be a very dragging waste of time. This drama was not like that AT ALL.
By the fourth or fifth episode I was already hooked. I loved the brother and sisters relationship, I have siblings and it reminded me of my relationship with them. The acting of all the cast members were so natural, it really made you think ah so nice.
The best part of this drama is that it’s happy. The time I was watching this drama, I was very stressed due to things happening in my personal and academic life and this drama just took all my stress away. It was not extremely dramatic, the plot was wild enough that it kept you interested, the characters felt realistic and believable. Even the characters you think you will dislike ended up being my favourite people!! It was just a peaceful drama and by the end of it I was sad that it was over.
If you want to watch a family drama, that’s got the right mixture of love and wild plot and funny characters and just brings you happiness and comfort overall then please give this drama a chance! You will love it I guarantee you!!

I have watched the Hong sister's other masterpieces but this one is definitely one of my favorites.
It's a great proceeding to I Hear Your Voice.
It's a bit like the Thai dramas Raak Boon (if you have ever hear of it) It's definitely hilarious, adorable and you kinda only kinda don't expect what's happening.
I have only watched up until episode 4 as only 4 episodes have aired but i still think even after the drama finishes i would definitely watch it.
The music is what that makes it less scary, and also the ghosts aren't all that chilling so if your looking for a horror drama its good to watch but you won't be that scared.
The acting well...all the actors cast, as far as what i have seen from them i think they are great actors, they all make it hilarious and funny and unique in there own way so the chemistry between the cast and how they act with each other is really good!
The romance is really cute and adorable and once you have seen the first episode you will know what i mean, its very..different but funny.
You can see throughout this review that my main opinion of this show so far is that i's hilarious and it entertains me and as far as i know I'm someone who watches and likes things that most people would like as well, and i definitely think that whoever wants to watch this show is just like me so i say go for it.
It's super goooooooood!

You will not regret it. My heart feels full.

Give it a try and I promise you will not regret watching this show. I promise that you will definitely enjoy it.

I am definitely the type that is not the biggest fan of historical Chinese dramas. I’ve seen clips of them but could never fully commit to watching one because I felt fantasy type shows would be a waste of my time. However, I don’t know what came over me but I finally decided to give in and watch The Untamed.

I was hooked by ep 2/3. I couldn’t believe it myself but I kept clicking on the next episode and of course staying up really late and finishing all 50 episodes in 2.5 days.

Why did I love it so much?

Starting with the characters. The acting is very good. The actors in all the roles play their characters very well. Without delving too much, all characters have a wonderful development throughout the series. Honestly I’m not a very emotional individual, but when the characters feel sadness, you can really feel it too. It’s as if you are really on an adventure with Wei Ying and watch him face difficulties, make everlasting friendships and overcome obstacles.

Romance. Now I’ve heard that this is actually a BL and in all honestly it does not have any BL type scenes in this show. However, I think romance doesn’t just exist in the form of a lover. You can have romance between friends and the relationship of Wei Ying and Lan Zhan is very much that. It is a strong bromance that blossoms beautifully. While there were moments of romance with other characters, this show did not need love and typical rom-com moments to make you feel all happy and have butterflies inside. I mean Wei Ying and Lan Zhan are honestly fantastic, they make me feel as though I want to be loved/ find the type of relationship these two share.

Story. The plot is filled with twists. The story has so much flavour. Mystery, romance, comedy, friendship, trust, happiness, justice, anger and sadness. These are feelings I had when I was watching this show. It is beautifully written and the story makes sense, it feels realistic and relatable. There was never a moment I felt like something was missing or could have been done better. Especially with shows like these, 50 episodes is a lot but the story progresses really well. Down to the last second, till the end, you feel satisfied.

Visual effects are amazing in this show. I’m not surprised because Chinese dramas have always had very good visual effects. The scenery and the way the show has been filmed is beautiful. I hope to see places like these one day.

Fighting. Normally historical Chinese drams see people flying everywhere and I don’t know it can feel a bit unrealistic cause you don’t see people do that. In this show, while that does happen, the fight scenes are so so good and so interesting that you are left hooked and wanting more. I loved all the fight sequences in this show and didn’t skip any scenes.

Music. The subtlety of the music is fantastic. There is so many beautiful tunes, instrumentals that are played and only one proper OST throughout. The song is mesmerising and very fitting for the context of the characters and the show.

Finally, I want to say, with everything going on in this world, I had been feeling very down. As if I didn’t care or I won’t feel anything watching any type of tv show because I felt I had lost the magic. I’m not sure if that makes sense but I felt sort of dead inside in the sense (nothing too dark lol). It had been a while since I had watched a show that made me feel sad when it finished. Having literally just finished this show, I am here writing this review and I have to say, I feel so happy and sad at the same time that. Happy because I am so glad I got to watch a show like this. Sad because I worry that maybe it will be a while before I come across another show as good as this. I really hope to those reading this review will be convinced to watch this! Give it a try, you won’t regret it, I promise.

I really hope they make a season 2 one day!!

Friendship is the best ship.

I started watching this during lockdown on Netflix. Honestly did not know what to expect. Was it going to be too medical? Was it going to be too much about the personal lives of the doctors? Too dramatic?

The reason I loved this show was because it’s a slice-of-life. It is just a simple encounter of the daily life of these five doctors, close friends and the lives of the other hospital staff around them.

I felt calm, happiness, so much laughter, little moments of love and most of all I felt as if I could relate. All the characters are simple human beings working hard and doing their best which is something I think all for us can relate to. The characters have also faced various ups and downs. They aren’t just born perfect doctors but they are individuals who became doctors by workIn their butt off to become the best so they can do their job properly. Looking at them working hard and all the other hospital staff supporting each other is definitely very comforting to watch.

Don’t worry though, it is not just a calm happy go lucky show. There are definitely moments of surprise plot twists that will leave you clicking for the next episode. If not, the cute little boy Woo-joo will definitely make you want to watch more. He is probably the cutest little kid I have seen on kdrama in a long time!

The friendship between the five characters is very dreamy. I don’t quite know how to explain it but the five leads are very much their own people, they are different to each other however, they always have each other’s backs, support each other, help each other, take care of each other and it is really nice to see that. My brother who is a med student loved this part of the show a lot and really hopes he will be able to forge great friends like these guys.

The medicine in this show is not a lot but i think this is good because the show shows you more than just individuals cutting people open and acting like a cool surgeon (I’m sure we have all seen those types of shows). Instead, you will see the doctors really understanding their patients, the difficulties they face when dealing with patients which feels very realistic, the difficulties different department doctors go through and you will witness the various emotions these doctors face may it be happiness, sad or excitement while working in this profession. The emotions in this show are very realistic that it really does get to you at times.

If you want to watch a show about five individuals who met in med school, became good friends, had each other’s backs through various personal and professional problems and then in their spare time to ease their stress, they started a music band that plays some really chill fun tunes then this is the show for you. I really hope this convinces you to watch the show!

I’m looking forward to the season 2 which I’m sure you will be too!
