Warm and Fluffy
I usually lose my patience with C-Dramas as they tend to lose focus mid series. I usually find a story can be wrapped up in under 20 episodes. However, with series I found myself enjoying it and not fast forwarding through scenes. The leading couple are likeable and you root for them throughout. It has a well balanced support crew as well.I would have liked to see a bit more of the ML relationship with his parents. It was almost skirted over.
I look forward to seeing the ML in more dramas. The FL is adorable and not too naive as is the standard in C-Dramas .
I will definitely be rewatching this one again.

A well balanced act
I found this drama had the right amount of silly to balance the gravitas towards the bed of the series. I enjoyed every single episode. I didn’t mind that it was not a romance heavy series but all the main characters were outstanding. I do wish they gave the Princess a little more air time. For someone who hasn’t read the novel, the final scene was a bit predictable.I am really interested to see what the next season holds even if there is different actors.
This was definitely worth the watch.

Favourite of Favourites
I think I have rewatched this series at least 20 times. It will make you feel all the emotions. It has the most likeable FL I have ever watched in terms of K-dramas. She is easy to like and you find yourself crying when she cries and laughing when she laughs. She can be really cringey as one is experiencing your first love.
The ML is by far the best written one, he is likeable, complex, charming and at times swoon worthy. He treats her well and supports her throughout.
This is one of the best written couples in K-dramas. Yes there are misunderstandings but they grow together and try to understand each other.
The supporting cast is outstanding, girl power. Supportive family units.
This a must watch if you are just starting out with k-dramas.

Kinda mid
First few episodes weren’t bad, I didn’t find any of the characters as engaging as the first iteration. The OTP whole cute enough had no real chemistry.Yes the SML/baddie has more substance but still left me underwhelmed. He does however fill out his suits really well.
The one point where this series trumps SWDBS is with the secondary characters, they were a lot less silly.
I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it. Unsure if I will rewatch this where as I have rewatched SWDBS multiple times.
