It's been so long since I've watched a drama that has everything from great plot to amazing character development and immersive side stories for the side characters
The first half of the drama is set in North Korea and I thought the story would be depressing and gloomy but because the situation of the FL was pretty serious and things were tense the whole time but surprisingly, it had enough of comic relief to keep me from being anxious all the time for the main characters and just the right amount of thriller to keep you at the edge of your seat.
The second half of the drama was set in South Korea and was just as entertaining as the first half, with more warm and fluffy moments between the main characters.
one thing I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to watch this drama is to NOT binge watch it because the episodes are an hour and about 25 minutes long, I tried to binge watch it but at the last few episodes I found myself unable to watch more than one episode a day, so try to take your time with this drama, because even though it's long I promise you will enjoy every second of it.

I was first very excited about watching this drama because the ratings were really good and it seemed to have a unique plot -at least in dramas, I've seen similar plots in novels- but towards the the end of the dramas the overall ratings on MDL had dropped and i was wondering why because I still hadn't started watching the drama at that time... but It's probably due to the fact that the episodes were getting kinda repetitive with Dan Oh seeing the storyboard for a future event in the manhwa and then trying desperately along with Haru to change it only to mess things up in another way, and then the gaps between these scenes are filled with Haru and Dan Oh being all lovey-dovey, this particular thing didn't bother me but I see why it could bother others.
There also a lot of plot holes that you will notice throughout the drama and things that don't make sense that just ....happen.. for the sake of the plot, no matter how hard I tried to understand the rules of their manhwa world i just couldn't really. The whole plot is really interesting but I wished it had less loop holes. I wouldn't watch the whole drama again, but only rewatch the scenes between the the two leads and also Do Hwa's scenes after he becomes self-aware because his reactions amuse me.

buuuut the reason I ignored all that and gave this drama a high rating was because i found the relationship between the leads absolutely adorable and fluffy and Haru's character is really soft and just makes me melt,
so if you're looking for some light-heart fluffy drama to waste your time on this might be your fix

I hated this drama so bad the when i remember watching it I literally tear up. You have the usual poor girl , rich guy plot that I don't particularly hate but in this drama the ML was so spoiled and bratty that I couldn't stand him, the FL also infuriated me a lot because of various reasons and I'm 100% she and the ML hated each other, they fought so much and were constantly yelling at each other that I had a constant headache watching this drama, but all of a sudden towards the end of the drama they fall in love ......? Anyway for me it hurt to watch this drama because I generally don't like the hate-to love genre and couldn't understand why the main couple actually liked each other.
