One of the first Jdramas that I watched, and one of my all time favorites. The story revolves around 2 sisters, Shida Mirai and Yamada Yu, and Shida has to deal with her older sister's ridiculous demands. She believes that she is the only one who can see her sisters true self, an evil dmeon hiding behind a pretty face. Through constant mishaps, the older sister is dubbed "The ally of justice" even though her motives were just for self gain. The drama is meant to be funny and I feel that the actresses did their part(well, Shida Mirai's unfortunate circumstance and the situations she's put in makes it funny.) If you're feeling down or just want a quick and quirky laugh, this is a good drama to watch.
Relatively the same as the first season but the story doesnt focus on Maeda anymore. I know those who have watched both seasons prefer the first, and I agree with them for the most part. If viewed as a yankee movie, the second season definitely had better fight scenes than the first. The acting is also refurbished a little, still not great, but a little better than the first. The theme song is also done by akb48, to which they have their own choreography to it. All in all, its an ok sequel to the first, (although Nachu wasnt in 8% of the episodes, no offense to Nachu fans, her voice was really annoying in the first one). I do have to say that Otabe(played by yokoyama yui, the new president of rappappa), oshima yuki and yuka(played by oshima yuko(haha)) and Geikikara/Amakuchi(played by Matsui Rena) were complete bada**es in this.
The first few episodes of this drama was EXTREMELY slow. There were times in this drama where i wanted to bash my head in just because all was shown was flashbacks or slow walks or someone contemplating about the past. Around episode 6 or 7, the drama began to pick up, introducing the relationship between Park Shin Hye and Jung Wa, and I have to say that it was extremely watchable after that. The OST's for this drama were phenomenal, they did a great job at writing them and using them at good parts of the drama. Of course, the love stories(main and side ones, I personally liked the drummer and the dancer/actress) were cute. The chemistry between Jung Wa and Shin Hye was easily seen when they were dating, everything they did together was just cute.
