Ok to watch on the side
Watched this purely because I wanted to watch a crime/investigation type of show with interesting cases. I didn't really mind this show but I was also treating it as a filler while I was waiting for another drama to be subbed.
The cases were okay, there were some interesting points in them. But I felt like they weren't very well explained once they catch the person. Character wise, I had higher hopes for the female cop because I liked the actress and I think she started off okay. But I think she kind of went down the typical route after a while. I also felt like the medical examiner played too big of a role in the investigations.
After each case, there's some stage performance-esque skit at the end. I think this is a love it or hate it kind of thing. Personally, I wasn't really that into it. But my biggest biggest issue with this show is the background music. I tend not to notice this a lot but in this show, it was SO jarring and really does not give off the right vibe. You'll definitely know what I mean when you hear it, it makes me think of a Western saloon and just really does not fit either the theme or situations in the show.
