Every cliche under the sun
I’m not sure if I watched the same show as a lot of these other reviewers, but I ended up watching the final episodes because I had already spent the time with the earlier episodes. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a series where they tried to cram every overly dramatic themes into one show. What *can’t* the FL do? She’s apparently an expert at everything all the rescue firefighters, who train constantly, and do it all without gloves, protective gear, or sense. She is the ultimate dog trainer, AND she is the investigative reporter who digs in and uncovers ALL the corruption under the sun. Don’t even get me started on the annoying and pathetic second ML (can we even call him that?) He’s apparently a 25 year old CEO of a major financial powerhouse who rides around in Bentleys and Range Rovers who also hitches rides with random truckers and has time to personally carry a girl in his back all night long, with a sprained ankle…. Oh my god I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it here and just say painful!!Was this review helpful to you?
So much potential…
So much potential, so far from achieving it. During the first episode i had a really good feeling about what i was going to be watching. By episode 2, that was out the window. Still trying to figure why some of the characters ever even showed up in this series. Still trying to figure out theLove between the 2 main leads. Still trying to understand how much HaRam flip flops in his approach to Cheong Gi. The amount of “narrated” self thoughts was ridiculous. A blind man who looks people directly in the eyes. Unredeemable characters that are redeemed. And don’t get me started on the Goblin.
The more I think about it, the lower ratings I think I should give it.

This was so painful to watch
All I can say is that I would rather never have a friend again if I had a “best friend” like Bonai. To have her watch QiQi be wrecked over and over and still think she loved MoHan the jackass? No thank you!! This was one of those shows that I just annoyingly felt like I had to finish, no matter how painful, because I had invested so much time into it. It hurt me soul. I pretty much wanted to punch every character and every script writer who thought it necessary to repeat the same revenge plan over and over and have everyone fall for it each and every time. This show just hurt my soul. Was this review helpful to you?

Not sure if I watched the same show
I'm trying to decide if I should give TLEOTM a rewatch and see if there is something I missed in the first watch that made everyone love this and rate it as one of the best Xanxia/Wuxia ever. I still can't understand how the relationship between FL & ML ever passed over from disgust to undying love. I loved Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi in Love is Sweet, so it'ts not the actors, just the plot. I could not for the life of me figure out how the ML ended up being such a simpering fool who just kept getting himself in line for more smacks in the face from the FL, and kept coming back for more. He went from the most horrific being in all the universes to such a sucker... Like I said, maybe I need to watch again because as much as I had been looking forward to it and wanted to love it, I just couldn't,Was this review helpful to you?
