very unusual

Most people won't like it, as the story is very unconventional.
Throughout the entire series, I could not understand why everyone did what they did. I understand at the emotional level, however, when it comes to stuff like reason or pride, it's highly unlikely.
Still, at the end, the ones who thought they could deal with this couldn't, and the ones who thought they couldn't, managed it anyways.
The ending was perfect. The 10 I'm giving to this show is merely because those 30 seconds. If those 30 seconds weren't there, the 6,5 rating would be more than enough, and I wouldn't have bothered to write a review. But they're there. Therefore 10 it is.
You do you, and keep around the people who accept and love you as you are.

one of the best in a while ❤

It would definitely be a mistake to think of this as a mere BL show, because it was much more than that.
The cinematography is breathtaking, the story is no more no less than exactly what it should be, acting is really good, intimate scenes are perfectly done...
I recently found out that this is an indie production, which sky-rocketed my respect for everyone who had a part in producing this amazing series.
I will be keeping an eye on what they all will do next.
I loved it and I'm almost certain you will too..

Must watch coming of age story

Normally, I trust reviews when deciding to watch a show or not. With Mimicus, I'm glad I didn't.
The plot is strong, casting and acting are excellent
Although the episodes are short, there's major character development for almost all the characters.
I liked how some parts were left unconcluded, it suited the story much more than skipping a couple of years and showing everyone happy.
The romance is age appropriate, given all the characters are minors, and yet again very satisfying in the context of the show.
I enyojed it very much and definitely recommend it.

Nice theme, but boring...

The main theme is 'Guilt can be an obstacle if you cannot manage to forgive yourself'.
This theme is executed and we all felt it, but in the end the drama was really boring for me.Company politics felt like a filler, still, it wasn't enough to fill 16 episodes.
Should have been a movie.
As for the acting, the female lead's way of thanking even became really annoying as the drama neared ending, I didn't enjoy her acting at all. The male lead, a.k.a. Blue Bird, reminded me the Big Bird of Sesame Street, the cuteness was overacted and became funny-and not in a good way.

The best two things of the drama was, Re Lee's phenomenal acting- she played the part of 17 year old Ha-ni; and the morning company dance, which I found hilarious, brilliant and uplifting all at the same time.
Can't say that I recommend this.

Not a popular opinion, but I did not like it.

This series tell the story of a couple, that were madly in love, and life happened to them. I might say this is why we do not watch what comes after love. I've been married, for quite some time I must add, I'm pretty aware that the honeymoon phase is not that long, just like anyone who's married or in a long term commited relationship. The problem of this series is the story is told in a very boring way. The only thing one's looking to see is if they're going to get back together, but as of episode 4, I'm not curious even about that. Would have been better if it was a movie. If you've liked this, you might like Now We're Breaking Up. If you're wondering what comes after love AND don't want to be bored I would recommend Between Him and Her.

the worst I have ever seen....

The story is terrible, it's all around sexism, toxic possesiveness, violence, and more. There isn't one single character you can relate to or root for. Acting is terrible too, not sure ıf it's because of the story, or simply the actors are not good. Not even 'guilty pleasure' or 'too bad it's good' material, which was the case for 'unforgetten night'. Even the intimate scenes or Day's good figure can't save this öne. Even ıf you're okay to waste your time, you can find something else to waste it on.
If the app allowed, I would have rated it even less.
