Great casting for Lee Joongi
Personally, the drama really exceeded my expectations. I know some people dislike the styling as compared to Season 1, but honestly the Season 2 styling being more logical during that age. As much as I think SJK suit Saya more in terms of visual but Lee Joongi did better job as matured characters. In fact, at some point I think Lee Joongi's acting is more what I expected Eunseom/Saya to be after 8years. And Lee Joongi never disappoint when it comes to action scenes. The only cons of the drama so far, the filter they're using and casting SSK as Tanya. She's pretty, won't even doubt that but her acting really hard to watch. She did great in Run On but I guess as an actress, her acting capabilities are limited to only certain role.
P/s: Can I get Lee Joongi and Kim Okvin in action drama next? I would love to see it..

The episodes keep getting better! Watch till 2nd arc!
When I first started this drama, I had no expectation. I think the drama is just somewhere between so-so and interesting BUT it definitely keeps getting interesting and better in the 2nd arc (which is on ep 16). It feels like you're watching different drama with different characters in it. This drama probably has its flaws and definitely NOT the best xianxia drama out there but it definitely worth to give a try (just like i said, 2nd arc is way more interesting). I'm glad that I kept watching this drama despite bad reviews from Chinese netizens. Now, this is one of my weekly looking forward drama and I just can't stop for it (I'm pretty a lot of people agreed with me about Qingmu lol). Last but not least, the CGI, it's pretty cool and somehow it looks like the teaser for online game which is high quality! Was this review helpful to you?
Quite boring at first but
I had zero expectation when I first watch this drama and honestly I felt boring watching it but when the story slowly getting into the second lead couple, I became hooked. Run On is such amazing drama it's not about dramatic gestures but about small small things we do for people we care which warms our heart more than anything. Characters in Run On have their own unique personality and own problems that is shown in a perfect manner and is not overdone and each character tries to give us a valueable message the more we watch the drama is what makes the drama worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best modern cdrama with realistic plot
What i love about this drama is that they're so realistic and not ridiculous at all for cdrama. For once, this cdrama centred around main characters with COMMON ordinary background (not typical cdrama where one of the main character is rich and fall in love with the poor main character). The story also talk about real life struggle for people nowadays in our society. Also, i like the female character so much. Other people see her as 'perfect' independent woman when irl she has a lot flaws. Totally love Qin Lan's acting as Shen Ruoxin. Highly recommended drama if you want to watch slice of life drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Natural acting from the casts
Sandra Ma is one of the most talented chinese actress along with NiNi, Zhou Dongyu, Sun Li, Zhou Xun. So i really have no complaints or dissatisfaction about her acting since her acting is always good. After watching this drama, I realised how good and natural Deng Lun's acting was. He is so natural and I totally amazed with it. I've seen his other dramas but i may say that his acting in this drama is unexceptional and excellent. He played his role very well which i may say really different than his previous drama. This drama is really not like other modern chinese drama where i have seen so far. Usually in the drama, they always talk about rich people but no, this drama is about achieving dream as an ordinary people. What i really love about this drama because it's focusing on ordinary people so it can makes most viewers relate. From this drama, we can see from the insight of how actors struggling to get a place in the entertainment world. Was this review helpful to you?
