However, the series itself is great on it's own. The actors are brilliant, especially Bai Yu and Zhu Yi Long. The story is quite unique but surprisingly familiar. Yes, there are a few elements that we have seen in other fantasy series before but it also offers a new interpretation and new storyline in terms of reincarnation and destiny. It also has a great production and cinematography.
The best part though is the soundtrack. It's a bomb. I love all of them.

Storywise, we've seen this before. Bullies, rich kids, love triangles, sexual confusions, misunderstanding and all the cliche stories you get in a highschool drama.
What elevated this was the acting. Nanon is very great in portraying raw emotions. Chimon and Pluem had an undeniable chemistry as well. Their acting is one of the best I've seen in a high school drama/setting in a while.
Greatly recommended. 10/10.

With that, expectations were set. What I did not anticipate was the plot.
I don't trivialise the problems gay people have in our society today. However, it's also good to watch a film that doesn't revolve confusion, acceptance, tolerance, homophobia or hate crimes or tragedy. This film is more of an action film, but with gay characters. Them being gay is not the centre of the plot, which is a nice change.
The actors were great and scenes are realistic enough.
So I give this a 10/10 rating.
