This episode is amazing, I just loved the leads character and the honest feel to it. The contrast between the way childbirth is normally portrayed and what goes on in her mind are priceless. In one episode I managed to both love her mom for taking childbirth sereusly but hate her for taking the new mothers coffe away. The moralisation and constent monitoring of pregnant whomen was portrayed beautifully and i wanted to make a new version of twisted Sisters song and shout: Hey people leave those pregnant whomen alone...
I have allot to say, so here come the spoilers if you have not seen this episode beware!Okay, I was a bit critical and skeptical about this series but decided to give it a try . The first episode really made me laugh. I do find the ML relatable he has been sick for years and is giving life a big FU I'm gonna die anyway. I totally get him, and am on his side! Then it becomes really funny, though he has been sick for years he is all of a sudden in desperat need of a heart. Oh the drama! He was perfectly fine one moment and then boom give him a haert stat! There is no match on the list, I'm sorry what! Ofcorse they wont have a heart stat. But the list in most countries (I hope) go by best match most ergent so the whole concept of cutting in line is a bit iffy but okay. For the plots sake I'm just going to find this humorus. Not only that when he wakes upp he has litterly no tubes, he is not swollen att all , there is not even a machene that goes beep. And he looks like he is ready for the runway. Nice to look att but defenetly not close to reality. Yet 5 months later his fisical condition sill bad, even though he was active upp to the transplant (his muscles hadent detereated). This ofcorse assuming the timeline won't be expanded in the following episodes. I did love his attitude and his reaction to the questions he got questions that are spot on and the reason I was skeptical to this drama. The parants attitude show the pressure and quilt put on transplantees to live well and desurve their second chance reminding them that unlike people who are healthy they are not allowed to take their life for granted. Oh the pressure. However this drama does cater to the annoying question hearttransplantees often get (oddly enough mostly hearttransplantees and not livertransplantees or other organs, yes I know its because the heart is oftenspoken of as the window to our souland what not) since he dreams of the previous owner. I also felt like yelling dude, you have literally almost no immune system get out of that smokey place with all those people. But back to some funny plotholes. To keep the heart he is going to have to take meds that lower his immunesystem the bag he takes with him for his trip wont fit all the meds he needs for more then a couple of weeks + some underwear, so where are his meds??? that enviorment is really dangerous for someone who has a lack of immunesystem especially during the first year after a hearttransplant. I did however love the two ML, and I'm assuming he fainted out of attraction and not because of his heart. That was actually really funny. With the knowledge I have now I feel really sorry for him, what ever his parents did its not his fault.
I'm neither in to horror or blood but am very curious about this drama. Im loving the music and lighting, but the monsters are really uggly and not really well done to be honest. The caracters seem to be cool, especially the ballarina on the roof. The look in the musicians ayes when she is talking to the missionarie is priceless too. I just wish there was a little less blood... beeing a person who had allot of nosebleeds as a kid I can really feel the blood gushing and imagine taste of it too... yuck. But if you can see past the blood the rest is really cool and well composed from the dialog to the scenery. The only ecception is the monsters are uggly and not so well done
I love Nanno, Im still not really shure about how she did this but eaverthing from: aren't you going to ask first to I'm new here and I want to make friends was geniusly done.
Now it has turned in to this really sweet rom com so I almost managed to forget the not so good yet funny way of portraying hearttransplants and they finally got the scar right! Ok abit to low but almost right. The two dots att the end of the long scar are where two giant tubes go in, if you remember my remark about missig tubes when he woke up well this should be the remains of two of them. I think they are used to get rid of puss, my memory is a bit foggy, but I remember there beeing some yellowish substance in those tubes, and that it hurt like hell when we removed them, I strongly advise against this experience unless you have to. I did however learn that it hurts less to remove tubes if you exhale while removing tubes, so my pro tip yo you is exhale while removig tubes! But thats really beside the point. This episode was very sweet, I loved the way the officer looked at Tian, the nervousness, the almost holding hands... defenetly good acting and good romance.
Ok so they addressed the meds, hygiene and food. A tad wrong but ok. There is one scene where hec is wearing a very low cut shirt but the scar is missing. Luckily he us shirtless later and we get to see the scar. Abit to low and extremely long. They missed some extra scars that come allong too. But atleast the most important one is there. The guys flirting is sweet, so are the kids, but the whole talk about almost dieing and wanting to do things right now made me cringe and want to tell him to lighten upp and don't kill yourself trying.
This episode is probably what makes this show worth the hype. Its as if the series has been slowly slowly building upp to a pint (I this episode 13 or 14) and after that it just keeps getting better. Its fast, its fsity, its smart and funny. Once she gets in to SNU... All will be okay... no matter who dies or goes to prison allong the way.
I'm impressed over how happy they get over the others misseryy. It's kind of sweet in a way... There us so much happiness in this series. Happy evil smiles all around.
I'm reavaluating allot now. The student is most definitely the smartest. The auther seems to be getting there but not quite... but it seems to be moving away from eat the rich to just plain psykopath. I do beleieve all of them have a psykopath living in them but I think I found the queen of all psykos
I'm shure there is some connection we don't know about yet beyond the eat the rich theam. These peoples wayvif lying and manipulateing while keeping a straight face always followed by an evil smile is kind of cute. But now I'm wondering who is the smartest is it the writer, the coach or the student... my money is on the student
There is tension in the air and there was a great discussion att the bookclub. Yes what is ghe pupuse, what opinions are allowed and how will the new mom survive in this odd place. Hmm
This is not the drama that captivated me in the first episode, but I am cuerius about this drama so I'm hoping the next episode will capture my attention.
