Slow-watcher Drama enthusiast who lives for Kdrama, Cdrama, and Jdrama marathons—so many watched, That I can't remember the names of! I’m the type of person who goes ham for a day and watches as many episodes as possible to someone who doesn't watch any for a week! & I always have one drama on standby (Moonlight Currently).
Just starting to learn Mandarin so I can hopefully study History in China one day!
Historical epics, fantasy worlds, and edge-of-your-seat thrillers are my go-to escape. I am currently obsessed with Love Game In Eastern Fantasy Starring Esther Yu & Ding Yu Xi!
My Favourite Actresses are Zhao Jinmai & Esther Yu.
Questions I'm Adding:
- Are there specific historical settings (dynasties, eras) you love seeing in dramas? I love seeing the Tang & Ming Dynasty for Cdramas and the Joseon Dynasty for Kdramas and I haven't watched any Jdrama Historical shows.
- What was the first drama or movie that got you hooked? The first Drama I watched on my own was Hotel Del Luna however my family has been showing me Dramas & movies for years.
- Do you have any “watching quirks,”? I love putting all of my favorite OSTS into one big Spotify playlist to listen to while studying.
- Do you like discussing dramas on forums, social media, or with friends? Truthfully I sometimes stalk the forums on MyDramalist but rarely contribute. I've also influenced two of my friends to start watching Dramas!
- Are there any drama-inspired hobbies you enjoy, like learning languages, trying recipes, or visiting filming locations? I’m just starting to learn Mandarin—not just for dramas, but to dive deeper into Chinese history and explore it academically!! I would love to travel to China as well, It has so many preserved historical sites and scrolls!
