More of the same. That's a good thing! It mainly focuses on General Ohki, which is also a good thing! A large, imposing figure throughout these movies, he hasn't had any real character development until now. With that Shin and the other characters take a back seat as Ohki's backstory is explored.
There isn't much to review; if you've already seen the previous movies, this film continues with whatever you enjoyed from them. The only thing you need to know is that it didn't get worse.
