Ok, when I first watched Kiss, I mainly watched for Pete and Kao, and got nothing. Then I watched Kiss Me Again, cause I wanted Pete and Kao. I could care less for Sandee's sisters and their love stories. And when I found out about this, I put it off until I saw it was almost finished. I watched a few episodes and fell off a bit because of watching too many things at once.
However, I went through it thoroughly after binge watching it. If you sit down and watch it all at once, it's great. It's amazing. The only thing I didn't like was how possessive Pete can get with Kao. I get it he's your boyfriend, but like don't make it that obvious. Also, the fact that the gang "didn't know" about Pete and Kao, when Sandee revealed their relationship in Kiss the Series. What? You all knew this.
Non. This little f***er. I get your dad doesn't treat you well, but wtf. Classic teenager, lying about how things happened and someone ends up hurt.
Sun and Mork. MY LOVES. I wish they had the series all to themselves at one point. Nothing between them felt forced whatsoever. It was a gradual love. A hate to love, which in my opinion, is the best kind. Also, all of the little things Sun did for him, trying to not get caught in the process, was too cute for my heart to handle.
My mood needed this after watching HIStory3, so thank you.
And I really want Sun and Mork to get their own series. Blue Sky Love or something like that. Black Forest Kiss. IDK something like that.

Something so pure it melted my heart

This series absolutely broke me and put me back together over and over again. I honestly don't watch Cdramas a lot because of the amount of episodes, but I decided to give this a try after watching Love Between Fairy and Devil. I also saw how high the ratings for both parts were and I'm glad I watched them. And a clip on Youtube of when Shaoshang meets the Emperor and Empress.

Part one was slow and steady, which I liked. It gave you a nice foundation in which to introduce Shaoshang and the abuse she went through with her grandmother and aunt. I liked the humor and the portrayal of Shaoshang having to depend on herself, which is the way she learned growing up was how she can survive in the world. Her mother's coldness hides the true mother she wishes to be is one of the most heartbreaking things to watch. I like how family orientated this drama was. All of the scenes between Shaoshang and Buyi were just great honestly. It was nice to see slowly how Shaoshang warmed up to him.

Part two was where it really was at. The humor from Emperor Wen was golden. It was interesting to see an outsider become almost a golden child of the emperor and empress in hopes that she would learn and get married to Buyi. Shen'an being the mom that Shaoshang longed for made everything worth it almost. And when Yuanyi finally confessed and apologized to Shaoshang near the end was heart breaking. Figuring out that Buyi was not a Ling was the twist that maybe other figured out earlier on, but after the almond cakes, I knew immediately what his goal was. Buyi's story in all of this was a masterpiece in itself. He especially needed those 5 years to reflect on his broken promise he made to Shaoshang. It was just all the more sad in that scene where Buyi tells her that he will live a good life and they part ways. She wanted to run to him, but let it go. I wanted her to run to him so badly.

I wish we could've seen a short afterward of them married with children of their own, but the ending was nice as it was too.
(Sorry if this is too crazy I'm writing this right after I finished it, and it's almost 6 AM lol)

The Ultimate Hate-to-Love Story

I absolutely loved this series. It's a classic story, almost a Romeo and Juliet (Or Julien in this sense). The family's hate each other, they live right next to each other, Pat and Pran from the moment they were kids were always competing with each other... until they weren't. I love how at the beginning they were technically already becoming friends, they just have to put on this façade for their parents.
Pat and Pran are now one of my forever stan couples of BL. Their chemistry of this entire series was one of the greatest I have seen, (and trust me I've seen a lot). I came into the series when episode 4 already aired and I'm glad I watched it. This was definitely the highlight of my Fridays.
And the song that goes with this series the one that Pran sings in episode 11, a masterpiece.

So nothing actually happens?

So how does this story go from Yoh being a sugar baby/housewife to just the same exact spot? I hoped he would have sold that manga and made some money to live on his own for a bit and get out of there. And the toxicity of this relationship, just from episode one. But yeah, I'll never hear the word "sunny" the same way ever again.
I also really wish they put Mizuki's perspective earlier on, and that for the love of whatever god everyone believes, can they actually tell each other how they feel??? The miscommunication is just so very wrong. His jealousy of Manju, or the fact that Yoh actually has friends, and Mizuki doesn't at all, his possessiveness and need to control Yoh is very uncomfortable, that I feel bad for Yoh and that he has to deal with such a shallow person.
And the fact that he could not even tell Yoh that he actually loved him, which he could have just said. and was not reading from the manga pissed me off. Like how was he supposed to take it with all of the mixed signals you were giving him all of the sudden? And I'm sorry living for someone for about 3 years and just being obedient to whatever they say? That's a red flag to me. I get that Yoh was basically already in love with him, but usually you starting dating someone before you move into their house and make curry on demand.

Ok. I was in a slump after I finished watching The Untamed and I didn't know what to watch after. I've seen so many BL's and almost BL's and I figured, why not I'll watch this. Boy, did I make the best decision of my life right there. I love this series, with all of my heart. Even when I caught up, I watched Love by Chance to understand the story better.

I gave the story a 9.5 because there are some parts in this series that I don't agree with, and that's my opinion, but overall I love this. The jokes are amazing, (especially in the latest episode). If you want something to easily fall in love with, watch this. The chemistry between Tharn and Type is just one of the many things that is good about this series.

The ending felt... unfinished, but that's okay

I just watched the last episode of this series and wow. I didn't expect it to feel this way. After last episode I did question how episode 14 would wrap up the entire series, and it felt kind of wrong and kind of right. I have questions to things that didn't get answered and it was just left there to be seen. How did the crowd against Tawi know their friends were in the van? Not like it didn't look suspicious enough, but still. How did no one catch Black as he was leaving the hospital? There were more than 3 policemen. I don't know.
But I felt like an open ending is kind of what this needed. Many might disagree, but we don't know what might happen to them in the future. Anyone of them could die, and that was the whole point of the ending I believe. The whole goal was to make people aware of what Tawi does and will continue to do.
What happened to Todd felt a little right. He got what he deserved in the end. Was I expecting him to die? Yes. But it almost ties into how Black isn't that person. He isn't a murderer. That's what I found to be great about his short character arc. First he's an ass, then he's all secretive, then finally he becomes honest with others and himself.
The happy endings I felt needed to be there almost to wrap up that longing feeling, especially for Yok and Dan. It felt too sad if Yok continued to stare at his drawing of Dan for the rest of his life. Sean and White's happy ending was already a given, I think everyone knew that was gonna happen.
Some open endings are great, this one was okay.

This is a little gem that shines so much

When I first saw this come out I was stressed and watched the first 10 minutes and kind of blew it off. I wish I had watched it sooner!
The story between Teh and Oh-aew is just so raw it’s amazing. The story that this tells in only 5 episodes is beautiful. Yes, it’s messy and they do hurt each other, but it’s Teh’s confusion for me. Or lack of confusion. When Tarn tells Ten that he is only hurting himself was really the kick in the balls that he needed. (And we all knew when Oh-aew said he liked Bas, it was a lie. Well not a lie, but it wasn’t the truth anymore.) I’m gonna go cry now. Can’t wait for part 2.

The story of Kang Dan-i and Cha Eun-Ho fulfilled me. I used to be a avid reader (not as much anymore), and this just warmed my heart. In the first half of the series, we get to see how much Eun-Ho loves Dan-i. The little remarks and the jealousy (which she is oblivious to) at the beginning just made it feel real. (Eun-Ho was jealous of Mr. Umbrella AKA Ji Seo Joon).
The second half broke my heart and put it back together, from when Dan-i quit to when she was hired again. Her journey is a bonus book in my heart. Plus the line, "The moon is beautiful." Everything has more meaning. Especially at the end of the episodes when they had little recaps or moments written down. This was such a gift. I would definitely rewatch it.

I loved the story of Nai and Gump and their friends. However, I felt a lot of their story was a bit rushed and I can understand, since it's a movie and not a series. There is a sequel and the only thing so far that I don't like is that the actor that plays Gump isn't the same actor in this movie, just be warned.
The story made it seem like Gump was only Nai's tutor, until he gets into a fight, and then magically Nai starts to like Gump. I only wish they made the movie longer and had more moments with Gump and Nai.

China is very conservative and it Shows.

Don’t get me wrong this drama was cute, the main two couples were great. The plot could have used a little help, but that wasn’t the main problem I had. When Lan Xin Ya was out with Lu Jing Yang and they kissed they said that he was a “man” now? Like if no one else could tell his character seemed gay to me and all of a sudden because he kissed a girl he’s straight? His character could have been in a censored Chinese BL for all we know and it would have been okay. But this really isn’t okay at all.

Ok, when I saw that Fluke was in this, because I loved him in UWMA, I was like, "I need to watch this." I liked the beginning , but after the first few minutes I started to feel different about this movie. When the guy, (don't remember his damn name) tells Wine that Boy wants to meet him in the "abandoned" building, I felt like Wine should've known. I also didn't like Wine and Night's relationship that much. I get it, he's a vampire, which wasn't that hard to believe because of the eyes, but wow. It was an instant relationship, almost. Within 3 minutes of meeting Night, Wine is already offering up blood, like damn.
I did like the different aspect of Wine being completely psychotic. That was great. But the fact that he was so willing to get blood for Night, I just, idk.
The ending also confused me, quite a lot. But that is all I will say, in this spoilery review.

Ok so here is how I’m going to start this off. I found a thing on YouTube which made me want to watch this in the first place and the song goes so well with it, it’s insane. I’ll link it at the end.

THIS IS EVERYTHING. There is so much to this than anybody can understand until you watch this. And to be clear, this isn’t a BL. I’ve been into BL dramas lately and I thought maybe this was too. But no. Yes it was based off of the novel which is a BL, and maybe I’ll read all 126 chapters of it.

This is just a masterpiece. Wei Ying is just the light of my life in this. As Lan Zhan is a whole mood. The dynamic of them both and all of things around this story, it made it all.
I 10/10 recommended watching this. It starts off at a point that hooks you in, and as it ends makes you want more and more. That’s what I want in anything.

https://youtu.be/ELUYkpC2XoY
Listen to the song. I’ve been obsessed.

When I first heard of this, I wanted to watch it immediately, then realized that Bad Romance came first. I tried to watch Bad Romance then watch this one, as most people did. However, I couldn't get into Bad Romance, until I watched this first.
Korn and Knock's story before Bad Romance is amazing, and a must see if you love Boy Love or Gay Romance (because it's everything.) The dynamic duo that's them is great, as well as the friends and side stories of this show. I recommend if you can't get into Bad Romance, watch this first. It's the best set up for what Bad Romance is.

So I watched this after watching one of the remakes of this series (yes there are many, this was only one of them) , the remake being Meteor Garden (which reigns over this). Going into this, I was like sure I;ll give it a go, since it's the most popular drama out there.
But good lord. This is quite something. The first thing I knew when I was watching it, was when it was from. 2009. The hair. THE HAIR. The acting isn't great either, but then again it's 2009. The story itself is great, but just this version of it, being that it is my opinion, just isn't it. I have yet to watch another remake of this, (probably the Japanese one will be next).
My thing with it too is that F4 is supposed to be attractive, and to me none of them are. At all.
If you give this a go, be my guest, but after you finish it, go watch Meteor Garden. You'll thank me later hopefully. (the 2018 one, not the one from 2001, I haven't seen that one yet.)

When I first started watching this, I absolutely loved this. It was amazing! It still is. However, when the world decided to go down the toilet, so did the drama, kind of. They hadn't finished filming, not entirely, therefore there were many episodes where you didn't see any Zon or Saifah. I felt as if I was robbed of them, as once you get to episode 9, from there on its mostly Fight-Tor, which I love, but I felt it wasn't equal in screen time because of what happened. After episode 9, I was like, "Okay, I like this. Maybe next episode will be an entirely SaiZon episode." But it wasn't. There was one like 4 minute scene, but that was it. I only wish that they could've filmed earlier or something. But all in all I'd say give it a watch. It's sweet and funny.
