The movie cleverly utilised the concept of time to bring something quite unique if I should say but in the end there were some plot holes especially regarding the time concept n also a few other flaws hence tho i enjoyed it i clearly can't rate it as a masterpiece.

STORY 8/10 : Here, the TAKATOSHI is saved by EMI when he is 5 n also EMI is saved by TAKATOSHI when she 5. It might seem confusing but according to the plot EMI'S time travels backwards. According to the plot this enables them to connect with each other every 5 years for 30 days. Clearly if fails to explain the whole origin which I feel is a serious plot hole. Without them saving each other this connection would have never happened n at the same time it is this connection that enabled them to save each other n hence its contradictory.

ACTING/CAST 8.5/10 : Tho I feel some of the emotions of the drama could have been better expressed. However, I felt that both the EMI n TAKATOSHI were well acted. Also some supporting role could have been better but considering the screen time I felt it was acceptable.

MUSIC 7/10: Music was somewhat lacking in many scenes which could have been better portrayed with appropriate music but its wasn't bad either so a gracious 7. N BTW loved the ED the lyrics were well thought.

REWATCH VALUE 7/10: I believe this is a fairly high rewatch value coming from me. I actually enjoyed the overall movie n hence i might consider rewatching it sometime near in the future.

OVERALL 8/10: The movie was pretty decent even the movie effects were fairly good n I enjoyed it despite its flaws. Throughout the series there were some tear jerking scenes but it wasnt enough for me to cry. But hey its a review of my own opinion so I mean no offence to those who actually cried or actually thought it was a lmasterpiece.

TBH I don't usually watch dramas or anything related bcoz I have been an anime addict as far as I can remember n hence this series is one of my first watch. It was strongly encouraged by a number of ppl so I decided to check it out n what waited was a stream of overflowing emotions. I cried like hell which I tell u is amazing for someone like me to actually cry.

STORY 10/10 :The drama is based on a real- life story which makes the emotions of the drama even more appealing to the audience. The plot was well executed with the addition of ASOU-KUN (FYI fictional), he adds a great deal to the overall story. Even the very small n simple scenes like the family having dinner together over the table were well thought to immerse the viewers. My fav scence is where Aya gives a speech in front of her class. I loved the line where she says "to be able to smile n tell everyone like this, I atleast needed 1 litre of tears".

ACTING/CAST 9/10 : The acting of the cast was amazing. The only reason I gave it a 9 is bcoz i felt it could have been better for some support roles tho I won't be mentioning them. Sawajiri did a great job depicting AYA tho her role was complicated it was played mind blowingly. I don't know how many of u will actually appreciate but I felt the role of AYA'S FATHER was damn amusing. He's fussing nature made the drama fun n whenever his scene pops up the sudden transition from tears to laughter happens its simply magical. Other supporting roles like AYA'S MOTHER , ASOU n AYA'S SIBLINGS were well acted.

MUSIC 8/10: The drama was glistened by good music. TBH I liked the music but its simply not my FAV genre n hence an 8. But tho I'm not a big fan of the specific genre I was mesmerized by the high quality music n its relevance in every scene especially the lyrics of the songs were well thought. I cried ever time KONAYUKI played.

REWATCH VALUE 3/10 : Why such a very low reaction value? For me its be coz I simply can't rewatch this series again for years or even decades maybe. It tore my heart n had me crying my heart out ever ep n I don't think I can bear another emotional roller coaster like that # my heart won't last. N I seriously dont wanna die of heart ache XD.

OVERALL 10/10 : For me the series was an absolute masterpiece it made me cry like never before n i don't think i'll cry this much ever again.I seriously recommed this series to anyone who likes to have their hearts broken n reshaped. This series made me ponder on life n for better encouraged me to continue LIVING. It made me cherish the love of FAMILY n the current HEALTHY LIFE I have. If u r not a big fan of the genre n prefer comedy with light hearted elements its best u avoid this series bcoz of its heavy n deep content.

LIFE is based on a very common yet relavant theme of bullying. The drama had a lot of slightly frightening scenes but it was executed very well n the series is definitely worth a watch.

STORY 8.5/10 : The plot is kinda known n by no means anything new or innovative but still it was able to shine. I felt the thrill in the series n also there were a couple of unexpected developments making it fairly interesting. However I felt some scenes were a bit exaggerated #i havent seen a great degree of bullying in real life so that might be the reason as well.

ACTING/CAST 9/10 : The casts were not flawless but they were well acted. AYUMU'S n ANZAI'S ROLE are worth mentioning but the role that caught my eye was that of KATSUMI-KUN. YOSHIHIKO-SAN did a mind blowing job depicting his craze. His scenes gave me goosebumps - the way he glared AYUMU was frightening like a true freak. I was slightly terrified at the scene where AYUMU was abused. So this 9 goes specially for KATSUMI.

MUSIC 8.5/10 : Music was well used in his drama. The picture was more thrilling n exhilarating bcoz of the good music accompaniment. It brought a feeling of excitement n sometimes of pity for the victim.

REWATCH VALUE 6/10 : I believe this is a series where the actual value of the product would reduce if u rewatch. U won't have the same excitement n thrills as compared to the first time u watch.

OVERALL 8.5/10 : I loved this drama - it depicted both the bullies n those bullied as victims of the society. Even the bullies suffered from one thing or the other n in turn vented their stress on others. Though this is no excuse to resort to such actions i could symphathize with them to a certain extend. It also gave a very good example of forgiveness as well. ANZAI bullied AYUMU through the whole series but still AYUMU decided to help her n stood up against ANZAI being bullied. A truly noteworthy last scene indeed.

A truly interesting title indeed. Soredemo Ikite yuku expresses the emotions of the characters bare n its actually frightful that it does it so brilliantly without much music.

STORY 9.5/10 : I wanted to give it a 10 but settled at 9.5 due to some situations being cliched. Though i don't dislike cliches some of them in the drama could've been better avoided. But it was overall convincing. I really love how they showed both sides of the coin (both families). Both families suffer but still they try to live on which is very admirable. However I was a bit disappointed with the ending but it was amusing how the last scene showed HIROKI returning the DVD he borrowed (FYI its p**n). I laughed hard when he said what was the overtime fee XD.

ACTING/CAST 8.5/10 : A high score if I should say. The characters were well acted n depicted. Though it could have been better at some scenes it was acceptable. The awkward chemistry between HIROKI n FUTABA had me laughing at times. Looking at them got me nervous sometimes thinking how it would turn out.

MUSIC 7/10 : Though I mentioned how it used very little music to show lot of scenes raw n at the same time did it brilliantly there was that feeling that what if it had music to intensify the emotions further. I cant help but think that it would have been awesome with more music # u don't have to necessarily agree.

REWATCH VALUE 7/10 : i don't usually re watch what I have watched once primarily bcoz i don't want to be left with the feeling - wasn't it better than this. That is why I believe its a fairly high rewatch value for me.

OVERALL 8.5/10 : Its was certainly an interesting series n worth the time. Though it may be offensive to some that I didn't rate it 10/10 all I can say that it was a certainly amazing series but not the likes of the greatest. However it tackled a very deep topic n i believe that this problem is prevalent even in our current society n for that i give this series a thumbs up. Its not rare seeing people dish out offensive comments on social media when all along we dont even know a fragment of what the person or their family is going through.

Lastly, if u r someone who enjoys fast paced dramas with great music then I believe this series won't be be ur cup of tea.
