Story: 8
The story reminded me a lot of The Master's Sun although this came out first and was probably the inspiration for the latter. I loved The Master's Sun and I loved this as well. It's not your typical romantic comedy as some horror elements and melodrama were thrown here and there. The mixture of the genres was definitely something new for me but it still had that typical "parting and reuniting" that most romantic Korean movies are known for which is just fine.

Acting/Cast: 9
Going into this movie I did not know who the male lead was but I completely adore Son Ye Jin in The Classic which was the main reason why I picked this up. Son Ye Jin is fantastic as usual and the male lead is definitely someone I'll look into in the future. He has a lot of titles under his belt so that's great. Their chemistry was not the best of the best, but it was there. It was subtle and not forced.

Music: 7
There were no catchy or memorable soundtracks I heard. Mostly, I would hear something and look it up on YouTube and discover another Korean singer but this was not the case. Still giving it a 7 for it's great horror sound effects.

Rewatch Value: 9
Definitely has rewatch value! I know a lot of people can relate to the female lead's dilemma (although not necessarily including the "seeing ghosts" part), but most of us has had times where we were all alone. This movie definitely made me feel better with the thought that someday someone will come into our lives and be there for us. I know I've experienced that scene where she ate half the cake in one sitting. LOL!

Overall: 9
A solid 9 for me. Watch it now!

Well, I don't know where to start. The finale is still fresh on my mind as I am writing this. I first got wind of this drama when 'The Heirs' ended as this was the drama replacing its time slot. I first thought that the synopsis sounded rather odd.. but unique. I didn't even know who were playing the lead characters.

Story: 10
As I said, the synopsis sounded odd but I went into it without thinking much and boy oh boy was I blown away by the first episode. The pacing was close to perfect. I think if not for the extension we would have had more gripping episodes cause personally I think that the tension was visibly lower during episodes 13 to 15ish. Without going into much detail, the show has managed to combine a lot of genres into one without looking that it is trying to hard.

Acting/Cast: 10
Again, as stated above, I did not know who were playing the main roles when I watched the first episode. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Jun Ji Hyun as the main lead actress. Back when I was in high school, I got my heart broken and 'My Sassy Girl' and 'Windstruck' helped me get through those most troubling times (lol). That being said, I was already biased to her but seeing her act in this drama has intensified that fanboy inside to a whole new level.

The main lead on the other hand was relatively unknown to me. Although I've heard a lot of Kim Soo Hyun from friends, going into the show my expectations were relatively low. Needless to say, setting my expectations low has lead to me being mind blown numerous times over the course of this drama because of his excellent acting. I am surely going over his other shows in the near future.

The supporting cast also defined this drama for me. Gone are the times when the 2nd leads were constantly trying to get in the way of the main leads' love story. Se Mi and Hwi Kyung should have ended up together but oh well, a man can't ask for too much. The Prosecutor and the Detective, Lawyer Jang, Song Yi's Family, even Bok Ja was lovable. Everyone meshed well together, I can only imagine the fun they had making this drama. And of course, let's not forget about Evil Hyung. I felt like he gave this show the fuel it needed.

Music: 10
So many memorable and catchy songs and sound effects, but seeing as I dedicated 3 paragraphs to acting/cast let me make this short: Goodbye (??) by Hyorin.

Rewatch Value: 10
I am already itching to rewatch the entirety of the show but I guess I'll wait for a couple of months so my brain can forget some of the scenes and enjoy them as if seeing it for the first time.

There were a lot of tense moments that made me jump on the edge of my seat. Some funny moments that made me laugh at 2 in the morning. Some sweet and romantic moments that make you all fuzzy and warm inside. And, some melodramatic and heartbreaking moments that just tug at your heartstrings. All in all, there are a lot of episodes worth rewatching.

Overall: 10
I am sad to see this show end. It has made the middle part of the week bearable for me and gave me something to look forward to when I'm bored out of my mind. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to start this show! Cheon Song Yi fighting!
