I initially started this drama for the hunk Wallace Huo but ended up loving the story and all the characters. Wallace does not dissapoint and neither do any of the other characters. There is no way I would continue to watch a drama only for one guy if the story was not intriguing and and all the characters dod not play their parts well enough.

The story really transcends the meaning of war and clearly depicts the struggles the population faces in the event of one and makes us realize how grateful we should be for our freedom! The screenplay is fluent and the story I sent coherently woven thus making it a pleasure to watch. It has a lot of realism that normally lacks in Chinese dramas I found and makes it a pleasure to watch.

One of the strongest and if not the strongest character in the story that stole the show was Ren Cheng Wei! I didn't know who he was and initially found his character to be quite repulsive, but then everything changed and it showed that a man who loves his family shows it in more than one way. Of course we are taought to live life following the right path and always doing good. Although I wouldn't justify completely what he does, you can start to understand why he does it.

Of course there are numerous battle scenes but nothing too graphic at and the love story is subtle but still manages to tingle all those nerves. Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll fall in love with the two leads like I did!

To start of I am a kdrama fan and don't really bother wading from familiar waters, unless I see excellent reviews from a certain drama from different countries. Thai dramas I really really doubted, but boy was I in for a surprise with this one! I finally gotten my hands on finding full house Thai version and fell in love with the leads and was ecstatic to find that they had done another drama together. I have watched all the versions of ISWAK and this is the BEST!!!

I didn't think that these two could get cuter than they were in full house but to me they were PERFECT in kiss me! The story is altered slightly but this version has the right amount of everything to make you fall in love with the characters! I have become a huge fan of Mike and Aom!

The difference in the characters makes this version far better for me! The girl isn't super dumb and has pride in herself throughout the series and the male lead is not way too arrogant so that you would actually ship the girl with the second lead.

Although there were some slight flaws such as the lead taking way too long to make a firm decision in his life but he does in the end and you can feel that his type do exist. Those who take too long to make decisions but when they do they make it for a lifetime and are committed.

The couple scenes are really really cute and I just ended up wanting more!!!! I loved this series very much and hope Mike and Aom make new dramas together! Love this couple! Ship ship ship!!

I would just like to first state that give this drama a try, you will not regret it one bit!!

I rarely watch Chinese dramas, but when I do they blow me away! I watched Niravana on Fire and had little expectation that this would be in par with it. Eternal love surpassed all my expectations. Ye Hua, Ye Hua.. Ye Hua he is the character of my dreams! Mark Chao made the magical drama, more magical with his portrayal! No matter how many adaptations this story will have, only Mark Chao will resonate in my mind as Ye Hua.

The love story between Ye Hua and Bai Qian is soul soothing. Watching them fall in love, again and again will bring shivers down your spine and make to chant Ye Hua name as you sleep. There were other love stories in this, but I could never really focus on their love. I just craved for more Ye Hua and Bai Qian.

The only problem I had was, it started of quite slow and picked up pace at around ep 6-7 I think. Thus you have to be patient and reep the rewards later.

I guarantee that whoever you may be, will fall in love with Ye Hua and this tale forever, like I did.

This was my first Taiwanese drama after a long time. I was skeptical with this one, but the comments and poster intrigued me. There is a very misguided synopsis of this drama in many places, it's not about an immortal who has lost his emotions. This story is about a man who lost something very precious in his life and seeks revenge on those who made him lose his happiness. In the journey he loses more, his emotions, his family, his happiness until the daughter of the person who he seeks revenge upon enters his life and changes everything. No matter how much he tries to control himself, he just can't seem to with her and ends up deeply falling in love with her.

So I first started this drama, and like 7 min into it, I dropped it. I could not stand the ignorant experessions the female lead portrayed and pushed this drama aside assuming this Taiwanese drama was one with a lot of over reactions and crazy situations which I'm not fond of. I don't know what, but after finishing a Korean drama, I decided to give this a shot and just watch one episode before really giving it up. I am so glad I did. I have had a habit of dropping dramas the minute they go downhill, no matter how much I liked it before. With this one, once I got to know more of the story, I was constantly intrigued and wanted to continue. Marcus Chang, steals the show with his wonderful portrayal of the character (Zhao Yiting) he plays. The lead female although annoying initially, portrayed her character well enough. Their chemistry was especially good!! The script was well written, and tied up all the lose ends, to give the viewers and satisfying feeling in the end.

Final thoughts: became a fan of Marcus Chang. Will no longer think that big noses look bad. Behind your smile, will make you smile!!
