Chinese Drama " Mysterious Love " is a short action-packed drama, with two well-handled couples.

What strikes as a refreshing note right from the start is the female lead. She is not the almost classic naive cutie who gets some dynamic scenes here and there. Rather, she was quite mature and all together, a nice combination as she had to handle a possessive and almost pathological jealous partner. The latter was a soldier material through and through, with a tough exterior and a weakness for his loved ones. As for the second couple, they were both adorable, but the girl was too much when it came to chasing the guy.

The mystery, in addition, was okay, though it was overshadowed by the flashbacks, that should have been better handled, as they ended up being a bit messy. The action scenes were on point though.

Finally, the performances were enjoyable by everyone in the cast, but, especially, the little girl.

So, overall, eight out of ten.
