" Goodbye Summer " was just not good. They probably wanted to make it all artistic and cinematic, but it didn't work for them.
For starters, the movie was too short. If they really wanted to present a decent story, it had to be more than an hour. Secondly, the story was just an idea, but there was nothing else to support it. The characters were shallow and the movie didn't present them well. There was no plot and no background to the story. In the end, the only thing that you get to see is the students eating and talking. At least the performances were decent.
So, four out of ten.
