THE PLOT JUST WORKS!

I planned to watch the series without even watching the trailer and looking for synopsis to read. I watched it without any idea about the story at all! I was confused at first but damn! the whole story works! I LOVED IT!

Plot
The plot is uncommon, yet it isn't that unique too. I think I have seen similar series with body switching plot. like a freaky friday moment. The whole stories works, the concept where they changed bodies, and all they can do to return back to normal is to get 4 holy water 4 great monks, isn't just a magnificent storyline but also an exciting one. The whole series focuses in their journey to return their souls from their old bodies, and along with that journey we can see all the learnings, the realizations, the reflections, and most of all the lessons the characters have grasped throughout the journey for their cure. I loved that the lessons portrayed do not only relate to the characters of the series but also to our real life experiences. I have learned, reflected, and realized a lot of things because of this series and I will make sure to stand by it as I go on with my journey in life.
That's why I will give the plot a good ol' 10 stars! KUDOS!

Characters
Mix, Jan and Earth is absolutely amazing in this series. You don't only see their funny sides, but also the sad and the anger emotions within them. They are the perfect trio for this series. They are chaotic, and fun which is the reason i root for this series the most.
Mix, as Win, is perfect for the role. We all know how win always slays the role he has. You can always see the emotions carved in his face. Every time he gets mad, you can feel this sense of scary tingling within you, makes you afraid of him. In contrast, you can also feel the sadness in his eyes and his whole face whenever he cries. I say that he portrayed this character excellently. He is superb acting as a girl too. hahahahah. Episode 4? The BEST EPISODE FOR ME!
Jan. I only knew and watched Jan from her School Ranger guestings, and also the Tonhon Chonlatee series. I already knew how chaotic she can be. The most difficult thing in her role is for her to act as Win, which she portrays flawlessly too! Kudos!
Earth. I mean Earth is just HOT, CUTE and AWESOME. He is perfect! His chemistry with Mix is unexceptional! I loved Earth since I watched the A tale of thousand stars. and He still gave a perfect portrayal in this character too.

Music
Music-wise, the music is great! I don't really understand most of it though because I am not Thai, but I can say that the melody is good. So i will rate it perfectly.

Rewatchibility. I mean I rewatched the series more like 4 times already. Especially, episode 4! I mean, that is the best scenes and episode for me, I LOVED IT. Comment if you loved it too.

Overall, I give this series a solid 10. Great chemistry from the main couple. Chaotic and fun side characters. Nice and amazing plot where we see also a lot of beautiful places of Thailand, making this series perfect for me! 10/10!

NOT THE BEST ADAPTATION! BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE WORST!

F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers may not be the best adaptation of the original piece but its definitely not the worst at all. Everybody know the story of a young heroine, being bullied for her class in society, but turned into Ms. Popular after a series of event had favored her way after 4 popular school bullies encountered and noticed her different ways. San chai (Meteor Garden), Geum Jan Di (Boys over Flowers- Korea) and now, Gorya has captured the heart not just the most popular celebrity/bully in their school, but also the hearts of the viewers and the follower of their story.

The Plot:
We can't deny the fact that since 2004 we have been in loved with the story and the plot of the original piece. I don't know about you guys, but it was 2004 for me when I watched Meteor Garden, and immediately fell in love in the story. As a fact, the story is not that perfect, it has its flaws. Especially, that it centers and focuses a lot in the most problematic events in the human history such as bullying, gaslighting, kidnapping, social class discrimination and more. However, we are encouraged to rise above it and realized that all of these problems can be rusticated from us when we choose to believe in ourselves and try to fight for justice and for our rights. That's what I have seen in the eyes of these young, strong and independent ladies. The fierce in their eyes, to correct what is wrong and to beat the system in legal ways, is the most promising thing that happened in the whole plot of the story. Plot-wise, I can really give it a good rating. Back to the Thailand version, i appreciated that they still kept the whole plot and the story from the previous version and tried to to make it their own. However, what I am missing is the touch of thailand culture. We may have a glimpse of one or two, of their culture in the show but I don't think its enough. It would be better if the show has added a lot of their culture in the story, yet they focused in the story of the original piece that they forgot to add some touch of their culture to the series. That is the only thing I am missing, but the whole plot of the thailand version is still acceptable and watchable, so I accepted it already.

The Characters:
Tu, Gorya's Actress. I can say that she really fit's the role. She executed the character so well. Still, there are some aspects that's not enough for me, especially when I try to compare her with the other ladies from the same franchise. I think what I needed is more like the badass aspect of Gorya. There's a scene from the series, where Gorya, had to kicked Thyme. That scene was phenomenal in every Meteor Garden franchise. The way San Chai (meteor garden) and Geum Jan Di (boys over flower - korea) is so badass that it will make you jump right from your seat to root for them. If I remembered it well, they did a flying kick (maybe) which is very badass. I was looking for it in the thailand version, but this version opted a simple kick, which is still acceptable. But knowing that it is the heroine's signature scene, where we understand who she really is, and what she really is (a badass), they could've made and edited that scene intensely to give more emphasis in the character of Gorya. But no worries, I already rose above it and accepted it.

The F4.
This! I can say that the F4 in thailand version is like DAMMMN! oooh! The VISUALS! I mean look-wise, they are the perfect F4 for me. Bright really fits Thyme role. The childish and immature man-child, really fits him well. I didn't expected that Bright would be great in that role but he did it. Of course, there's something lacking. Nobody is perfect. Through the sad scenes from Thyme, sorry, but I can really sympathize or atleast shed a tear for Thyme. I don't know why but I can't really see bright that sad when he cries. For me, when he do his sad face, I always see him as if he is smiling. I don't know why? I can't really see the sadness in his face. But his sad face is cute though, but not sad enough for me. In the bright side, his angry, and grumpy look is so hot. I think it balanced it out. Kudos!
Dew. Damn! Dew is hot, cute and just pure. I mean, it is a given that in Meteor Garden, I was rooting for the second lead too. But Dew, in this version, made me root for him more. His pure face! Well, he kind of did well as the second lead too. I can't really say that he is perfect, because his role doesn't need a lot of acting. His role is more like someone who has a mild autism, meaning that they don't really show emotion that greatly, but only show neutral face from time to time. But i believe he executed the entirety of his role well. Kudos!
Win and Nani! I mean, I ship them more than Gorya and Thyme. Win and Nani is just chaotic in this series. They look so good. Win with his formal looks! Wow! I was in loved with him in the 2gether series, and this made me love him more. Nani is so hot. with his hacking skills, and long hair. Damn! Kavin and MJ did a lot in this version. I can really see it that they are really involved. In the previous versions, we don't really get to see a lot of the 3rd and 4th member of F4, but here they did a lot. I was surprised, that I feel in love with the two over and over again. They did their role perfectly too. Being chaotic, and funny. Of course, there are cringe moments from time to time, but I am here for it. Kudos!
Prim. What a beautiful lady and soul. Of course, we can remember every heroine's bestfriends in the previous versions. Here, Kaning is unforgettable too. Prim, really fits the role. I already know that she is phenomenal and amazing, because I have seen her from time to time from other series. She is so beautiful too, that's why I cant forget her.
Cindy. Thyme's Mom! Of course, we need to talk about Thyme's mom. Since every previous version of the franchise. Always the awaited reveal is the mother. They always steal the show. ahaha. That's why we need to talk about her. She's not as intimidating as the other mothers from the previous version. but she is intimidating and charismatic enough. I mean she is beautiful too. and SCARY! I think the criteria of being the mom is to be as intimidating as ever, and as scary as ever, and she has that quality in her posture, in her face expressions and her gestures making her perfect for the role.

The Music. The music is perfect, especially the one who are sung by the F4. Fabulous! I can't really talk more about the music since I don't really understand it because I am not Thai. but the melody and the whole tune is satisfying enough for me to rate it high.

Overall. The quality of the series is quite high! I really recommend this series to all F4 fans from other versions. I think this is not the best version but still its not the worst. It has its best moments and Kudos to all the cast and crews who formed this series. I really enjoyed the series that much, especially as they are always feeding us with the visuals. KUDOS!

MY FIRST BL SERIES! I REWATCHED IT LIKE 5 TIMES ALREADY! (Please don't mind the grammar)

I am writing this review a month after I finished my 5th re-watch of the series. This is my the first BL show that I watched, and damn it raised my whole standards on rating and watching other shows.

The Characters
Nanon and Ohm is the best for me! They already have the closeness and you can see it in every scenes.
Nanon's acting is superb, I mean, his facial expressions and his movements really did it for me. He can convey a message as well as the feeling of the character just by moving his eyes, mouth and even hands. I was really into it the whole show.
Ohm's acting is awesome too. You can really feel already the sadness in his face whenever he just do a blank expression and even just staring in a specific part of the room. like damn, I really can see the sadness in his eyes when he does that. His facial expressions too, damn these facial expression making me feel a lot of things.
The supporting characters are very chaotic and fun. Jimmy and Drake! I started to love them just by watching them in this series. They are so chaotic, funny and energetic. That goes with the character they are portraying too. I absolutely love them as supporting bestfriend characters. Milk and Love! I was so obsessed with them after seeing them here. They are as chaotic as the bestfriends supporting characters, but more like toned down, and I loved it!

The Plot
I don't think the plot is that common, but I don't think that it is that unique too. Its more like a Romeo and Juliet plot without the deaths, portrayed in a simple modern BL show. I loved the whole plot, even if, theres a lot of context clues in the show about how the family despised each other, I think there should be more scenes of their parents fighting as the show goes by. but overall that arc was good already.

The Music
The music is really great. I believe Nanon is the one who sang the 2 ost right? It is very catchy, and it immediately hits you whenever you hear it.

The Conflict /The Resolution
Theres an episode, I think its Episode 11, where the main couple just ran away, I think that episode was unnecessary. I prefer if that episode will be just like them getting together with their friends and talking it out. Formulating a solution to their problem, rather than running away from home and from everything. But we got an intimate moment though, so that balanced it out hahhahaha. The last episode is showed how they solve their problem. I honestly didn't expect that they would do that though, that's why the first 10 minutes I think of the last episode, is just me crying and sad about what's happening. Then they showed the twist, which gave me pure joy and bliss. My heart almost exploded hahhahahaha.

Overall
This show is really superb and great! This is the first BL show that I watched and it took me 5 re-watch and watch 5 other BL shows just to recover and move on from this one. It definitely raised my standards on watching other BL shows. I watch 2gether series after watching this, and I kinda didn't enjoyed it fully, maybe because I am still hanged up on Bad buddy that time. Every time I watch a BL show that time, I immediately compare it to this series, and end up not enjoying the series much. I'm just glad that I already moved on and recovered from this show hahaha.

ONE OF THE BEST ROMCOM SCIFI BL SERIES EVER

All I can say is that Vice Versa really did rewrote the history of ROMCOM SCIFI in the BL industry. The series talk about parallel universes which tackles different universe in the multitude of multiverse based on a Multiverse Theory. The one think I want to emphasize is that it really carry the show to being the best.

Storyline and Plot.
The storyline and the plot are well-written. I am awed on how the story flowed in 12 Episodes. I mean the story of Peun and Talay is so promising that you will loved the show just by watching the first episode. The whole story will give you a roller-coaster ride and explosion of fellings and emotion. Not just the story but also the tiny details of the difference about the two universes, and also the similarities that it has to the other universes. I have read that this show was planned even after the author havent finished the story yet, but I can say that the storyline and the plot was perfectly thought through by the personalities behind it. Kudos!

Characters
The characters are very relatable and loveable. Peun and Talay with their flirty actions and eyes will make you shiver everytime they interact with each other. I always envy how they talk and interact with each other with loving eyes. AHHHHHHHH. The other side characters are so chaotic in a good funny way. I enjoyed the series alot because of them. The characters are very understanding towards each other. You wont see any toxicity in the series itself, as well as the characters. Every problem was solved by them and I admire that concept in a romantic series.

Cameos
OH MY GOD! Its like every episode of the series has cameos from GMMTV Artists and Shows. When the first came from the pilot episode occurred, I just jumped out from my seat because of excitement. HAHAHAHA I was very awed and happy because we get to see other people from other series. Forcebook, Gun, Perth, Tay, Mix and other artists, I was very surprised and I loved that GMMTV did that just to suprise their fans.

I dont really want to make this revew longer. All I can say is that, THIS IS NS OF THE BEST SHOW I HAVE WATCHED! I AM HOPING THAT WE STILL GET TO SEE JIMMYSEA IN A SERIES SOON!

I'm 3 episodes away from finishing this drama. I don't know if I want to continue it at all.

First of all, let me say that I enjoyed watching the 1st season of the series. I mean, I fell in love with Tharn and Type at the time they got together. I think its the 4th or 5th episode of Season 1. I loved that since the couple got together as early as Episode 4. Even if there are still obstacles and problems they are facing at that time.

Speaking of their obstacles and problems. I can't fathom the fact that even after 7 years of their relationship, they still have the same attitude towards together and towards solving their problem.

I actually love Tharn, even If he's always pouting his grown ass. I mean this is a grown ass man, but all he does is pout and constantly doing his sad face. I find it cute, but sometimes unbearable. Even until the second franchise of the series.

I love Type too, but I can't change the fact that I want to complain about his anger issues maybe (even if he's trying too hard to rise above it in this season). I hate the way that in every episode he's always mad doing his signature angry look face. I mean its still season 1 all over again!

What I hated the most while watching this season is that, I think that the characters in the series has a little to none character development. I loved that Type is trying to control his anger issues (i think he has one) but I don't think its enough for a character development. I kinda appreciated the way he solved that problem about the secretary who is hitting on Tharn, but I still somehow don't like how she confronted her with that dialogue which i think still harsh even though they think they adjusted the words so that it wont be really that descriminatory but still the same meaning lol.

Type's Boss! I didn't really understood well that arc at all. I mean, this man's boss randomly choose to make Type's workplace in hell without any real and apparent reason! I don't know if I just missed the real reason, all I know, is that he thinks Type is hitting on a nurse, (who is his lover?), so he is getting revenge on Type by abusing his power. Is that really the reason? I don't think the show has explored that arc very well.

I don't want this review to be longer. but I just want to say that I HATED FIAT's GUTS. Did the show really purposely made him that unbearable? Because I really hated him in that extreme.

I don't even think I wanted to finish this series after all. I'm on episode 9, and I want to jump to another series to watch.

THEORY OF LOVE! EXPLORING CLASSIC MOVIES IN ONE SERIES!

Theory of Love is an incredible BL series centering its theme about a one-sided love turned to mutual understanding and intimacy. Personally, I kind of loved the theme of the series, of them trying to base each episode from a Classic American or English movie exploring and designing a basic but effective formula and theory of love.

The Plot.
The whole plot of the series is obviously based on the classic movie "Flipped". Which is very interesting for me as they portray the sequence in to a BL show, with two bestfriends, one who loved the other, and the other one being a jerk, jumping from one girl to another. The whole flow of the drama, is tear-jerking, funny, and sometimes just makes your blood boils, and make your head aches until it makes your brain explodes. The mixed emotions you will feel while watching this drama is so confusing that there will be a point in time, that you won't know what will you feel. You'll be confused if you should be sad, angry, happy, or even disgusted. I will give a solid 8 for the plot. This might not be the perfect plot for a BL show, but the plot itself is so satisfying and creative. So ill give the show credit for that.

The Characters
Gun and Off! I can honestly say that I only watched this series because of them. Gun's acting is phenomenal! He really executed the character well. Especially, for the first few episodes. Where we all witness the pure sadness and grief of his character, being in love with a jerk, and seem like he can't do anything with his feelings because he's the bestfriend, let alone knowing that he loved a straight male which is a huge jerk. His acting really captured the hearts of the viewers, he infected us with his sadness too. I am sure theres a lot of viewers in there who also cries in every episode because of Gun's character. I mean he is superb!

Off's acting is great too. I mean he becomes more awesome as time goes by. I can really say his acting has improved in this one since his other's drama. I will give him thumbs up for that. Of course, we can change the fact that Off did a great job in portraying his character. I mean he made me wanna punch him in every time I see him in the first few episodes. I think everyone, felt the way I felt too. The anger and rage that I felt just watching him testing Third if he really likes Khai. I mean I almost broke my phone because of disgust and just pure anger. My blood just boils every time I saw him in the first few episodes in the series.

The bestfriends are really the best of friends. Two and Bone is the best friends someone needs. I mean, Bone has his wrongs but we already forgave him with that since he confronted Third with it, and even helped him. Two is just what all of us needs. A supporting friend who doesn't want you to be hurt no matter what. Plus, his relationship with Un made the show more exciting for me, not gonna lie. However, Bone and Paan's relationship made me uneasy and uncomfortable. i don't know why, maybe because he's in love with his teacher or something who turns out to be married? oooooh the age gap.

Conflicts and Resolutions
Theres a scene that i didn't really liked and I didn't understood well. The bathroom scene where Khai, CONSCIOUSLY, kissed Third, hoping that Third will get over him. I mean what? How dumb is that? I mean, it worked. I saw it worked but I am not really comfortable with that concept and idea plus the awkward kiss, where Third didn't kiss back. Eh! I was disgusted during that scene. I hated that scene! But I tried to get over that scene.

The time it flipped. Where Khai seemed to realized he has feelings with this too. That satisfied me that much. ooooof the satisfaction crawled all throughout my body. Yeah, I dont know why, but that easily calmed me down. I instantly became Team Khai. That's how weak I am hahahahahahha.

One thing, as I was so commited in watching the characters and understainding their story, I didn't really get to notice the music at all and it didn't really captured my attention that much so i'll rate it lower. The rewatch value too. I don't really have the urge to rewatch the series just because of all the crying, and the grief. I am so sorry. but overall, I enjoyed the whole series, I loved it!

Disclaimer: I'm reviewing this series a month after I watched it, so I may have forgot something, or had errors in my reviews. Please don't mind the grammar too. hehe

Start was great! End was meh?

Blacklist. I personally love the show itself, a mystery action show which revolves around a small group of students, fighting for the betterment of student rights and exposing the hidden discrepancies and errors in a supposed-to-be perfect school.

The plot itself is kind of interesting, especially when you watch the trailer first. The plot is somehow similar to the other show entitled "the Gifted" which revolves around gifted students being a rebel in a supposed-to-be perfect school. In Blacklist, they might have any powers and gifts like what "the gifted" has, but the writers of the series made sure that they still have hidden abilities that is useful for their mission and for the whole plot of the series. The first few episodes are exciting, in every episode they feature one of the members of the blacklist, having their own problems and having their own way to solve it. Which I think helped me understanding the difference between these main characters, their ability, the way they think and the way they solve their problems. For instance, you can really see the difference how Title (Drake) acts and solve his problems, in contrast, on how Jim Bae (First) solve his. You get the jist? I mean, every episode, make you understand what kind of person the main characters are.

For the second half of the story. I didn't really get to be invested that much. It became more chaotic and predictable. I mean, the twist in the end? I already predicted it would happen the first time I saw her. Characters are also betraying each other, and not trusting each other. There's even instances of gaslighting in the show, which I don't like much. However, I liked that they feature some villains which uses their own skills and expertise. There is an instance, where they have a chemist (science genius) villain. I appreciated that. The ending is meh for me. We don't even get to see a lot of the couples in the series. I mean yeah we can see them sweet sometimes, but not really enough for you to be invested in the pairs. Especially, Bantad (Frank) and Laila (Piploy). I can honestly say, that I watched this series because Frank, Drake, Nanon, Ohm, and Chimon was here. Back to the pairings, Bantad and Laila has a lot of chemistry for me, but the show didn't really gave it much appreciation. I mean we only see them for like what 4 times? in like 6 minutes?

In addition, I thought the second half will try to solve all of the cases that was unsolved in the series. But it didn't. There are a lot of unsolved cases in the series but the show didn't get to solve all of it.

The characters was great, the main characters, Nanon, Ohm, Chimon, First, Drake, and Frank was great. i loved them before I watched this series, that why I watched it because of them. They were great! They executed their roles properly. Nerdy Frank is a nice sight to see; Drake is just being Drake, vey chaotic; Ohm being a hero is great, First being a badass always. However, like "The Gifted" we again see the "Nanon's signature mad look" and "Chimon's signature I need to the leader look". I mean this is the whole The Gifted dynamics. Nanon being appointed as the leader, and Chimon disagreeing because he think he deserves to be one. Again, Blacklist being "The Gifted" rip-off.

I don't want to make this review longer. I'm just typing all of the things I wanted to see. Please don't mind the grammar since I am so lazy to reread and grammar check the whole review. Overall, the first half of the show is great for me, but the second half is kind of abysmal. I hope we see a lot of thriller, mystery, teen drama shows like this with different and more advanced plot points. Thank you and God Bless.

Supernatural Rom-com? It really works!

He's coming to me, is a great supernatural romantic comedy. I just watched this last March 2022 and I was scared that I might dislike it because its a 2019 series, and I almost thought the series didn't really aged well. But damn, I WAS WRONG!

The plot of the story is somehow unique. I know there are some series which has similar plots to this, but it's not that common. I was in loved by the whole story. The whole story is cute and adorable itself. I know its creepy for a ghost and a human to be in loved and to be in a relationship, especially, after the twist and revelation in the end 🤭. But I still think its great!

The characters and the actors. Damn, Singto and Ohm was great in playing their own roles. They really executed it well. I already expected it from Ohm, with his facial expression and blank stares which makes you feel something whenever he does it. He is really great in conveying emotions and messages just using his face and even his eyes. Singto was great too. This is the only BL show that I have watched with Singto, so I was surprised that he is very good too. His cute little expressions can really hit you hard.

The supporting characters, the bestfriends, very chaotic and fun. I loved how they are fun together, even if there are some hitpoints and problems within their friendship, like the love triangle 🤭. But they are still great. I was just ecstatic to see Chimon and his rare smile in a series 🤭.

Overall. the whole show is superb. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a cute romantic comedy with a splash of supernatural aspect. 10/10

KOREAN BL ALWAYS LEAVE ME ON EDGE

Semantic Error, like every Korean BL I have watched is so addicting and just leave you hanging at the end.
With its 8 Episodes, and like 15-20 mins per episode? All I can say is "I NEED MORE".

The entire plot of the story is well-written and well-planned. Its not the most unique plots, but it is not the most common plot also. I'm just surprised that they did well in compressing the whole plot in just 8 15-mins episodes. I personally loved the flow of the story.

Music-wise, I honestly didn't really noticed the music as I watched the show. Sorry. I am so committed with the couple and characters that I forgot to take notice to the music they are using.

The characters of the story are well-written and well executed. The two lead actors have a great chemistry. Although, you can evidently see the awkwardness between two of them. However, you can say that the awkwardness between the couple helps in the plot of the series, and makes it more intense to the eyes of the viewers.

Overall, this is one of my favorite and my first Korean BL. I am hoping to explore other Korean BLs too. If you have suggestions please email it to me at [email protected]. Thank you!
