Penned by the same writer. The character interactions and growth are phenomenal in both. However, where one follows the same case and mysteries (Beyond Evil), the other is more case-based but done well with detailed explanations. Anyone who loves Beyond Evil for the characters, will love Mad Dog for the same growth arcs.
Similar atmosphere of a slow burn mystery rather than a fast paced thriller. There are suspicions and mind games at play in both. If you like one, you'll enjoy the other. Which one of the two a person will prefer, is upto individual taste.
The parent story of this Thai remake. The remake follows it closely with a few context settings adapted to be made more Thailand specific. If you like one, and you like watching remakes, you'll enjoy the other. The leads in both versions did a good job.
The same main host.. Yoo Jae Suk, and multiple similar guests. Also, Infinite Challenge had a lot of Extreme Job challenges. Laborhood on Hire is like a Job-specific niche child of Infinite Challenge, which has a multitude of different concepts in one show.
The plot progression and the fight against the organization is somewhat similar, add to it the intelligent and smart male leads. Although the general drama vibes are different, with Chief Kim being a laugh out loud comedy. Recommend both dramas to all fans of either.
The premise is similar as the lead female have terminal illness and lead male is a chaebol. But more than that, it's the feel that is similar. Both are not sappy melodramas, and being a genre I consciously stay away from, they managed to pull me in.
Also, add great cinematography and solid acting from the casts.
