I began watching dramas in early 2016, and I haven't stopped watching since. Dramas to me are more than entertainment; they are my way to gain a different perspective on various cultures around the world. I have watched dramas from Korea, Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Pakistan, and I have seen movies from India and Vietnam. I am currently trying to learn Korean so I can read the novels that some of the dramas become adapted from, I also plan on learning Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Thai/Siamese and Vietnamese after I master Korean.
