I liked it - but didn't "love" it

(No spoilers)
This is an ongoing review, and I still haven't watched ep 8.
The setting of this story is absolutely amazing. A beautiful, vast, blue ocean, and a cute little shop near the side selling udon. I was enticed by this beauty.

Story - The story was really normal, and I didn't expect something "majestic" at all. I felt that this story was good, but there were times I thought that it wasn't worthy enough to be made into a drama. No offense, it is like some Wattpad short story that can be read in under 30 minutes.

Acting - Surprisingly professional acting. Something expected from han gi-chan; But Holland! I never expected him to be such a good actor. Even though their script wasn't promising, their emotions made an impact. I liked their chemistry, and the tension between them was fine.

Music - Nothing to say, just 3 words - I LOVE IT

Production - So-so. I don't think there was much to it that made me think "oh my god", but it wasn't so bad to be noticeable.

Makeup - I liked the makeup, tbh. It was realistic, and I was happy they showed the couple to have a normal face, with blemishes like normal people. More to add, I am happy that they didn't show some extreme beauty hunks that are somehow normalized in bl, because in reality, people like them don't exist everywhere.

Overall - I think it was okay. I won't remember it much but would like to rewatch it at times.

Rating - 8/10

This review does not have any major spoilers/ proceed without worrying

This drama is beautiful. When I say beautiful, I mean the characters, the story, the production the music, and almost everything that makes this drama complete.
Gaya sa pelikula, or like in the movies is a crucial drama to understand what the LGBTQ community really wants. They want to feel normal. They want to do things that straight people do. They want to live happily and not get different treatment just because they are LGBTQ people.
The reason why this drama shines is that each character had enough time to tell their story. Be it Karl, a shy person who had always been thrown under the burden of being good enough. Be it Vlad, a guy who overcame all difficulties by himself. Or even Judith, an ally who desperately wants to help everyone. Amidst this all, they still managed to make the story extremely relatable and comedic.
I just loved them all. The music and the production were at their best, enhancing emotions delivered by great writing skills. All of this is tied up with talented actors living their roles.
If you are planning to watch it, just go. It is a beautiful series that will make you feel like the time you spent on it was worth it. It will make a difference in you, and I am speaking from experience :)

If oscar had a nomination for "most ridiculous drama", this will win by a mile

This movie is SO crappy, SO bad, and SO ridiculous that it is actually hella good. This is not a seriously done movie, and you should avoid expectations for a good story. It is just a random compilation of stupid things, filled with casual fuckery of real life, overacting taken to the next level. The movie-makers knew the shit they made and oh god, I loved it. If you have an extra 1 hour to waste, go for this movie. It is a stress reliever if you enjoy this type of humor. (tmi, this was the only positive thing during my exams, so this movie means a lot to me.)

A great drama potential - only to become average due to budget/time issues

I cannot keep quiet about how professional the acting is. It was detailed, and expressions sparked immense beauty. The music was amazing and the story had great potential. All of this... BUT - it lacked in time. In an alternate universe, if this drama had 24 episodes or even 16 episodes, it could be pronounced as "great k-bl". There were many things related to this story that just needed more time to be heard. Somehow even though they managed to show everything in a small time, it felt uncompleted.
Still, it is worth watching. It is a good story with great actors, and the setting is on point. I will recommend it 100%

One of the most beautiful stories I ever came across

Blueming. this word means something that is unfolding or blooming. And that is what we see in this drama. An insecure, self-doubting, and under-confident person blooming into something a bit better.
This story gave us an inside out about how we all live in this world where money and looks matter. Sometimes more than talent. It was crafted realistically and the characters were beyond just being relatable. It consisted of only 11 episodes, but the detail-oriented production made every frame worth millions of stars. The characters had their own stories to tell, and they all lived on the way everything was, just how reality is.
This drama told that pain is pain, it cannot be compared. Thoughts about what people think of you will never make you happy and there are times when some people will cross paths not to judge you, but to lift you.
I will never be able to tell how much this drama means to me because it hits hard in my heart but also comforts me.
It sounds rather vague, but this drama just defines "Sometimes, all that a scaredy idiot needs is another idiot, and together they can smile forever."
It is worth watching - make sure to watch it at least once in your lifetime

The kind of romance I loved

Love class is a beautiful depiction of awkward love filled with fluffiness. My original perception of it was "just another bl", but it has surprisingly left a mark in my heart.
Good things -
Acting - Everyone was fit for their roles and gave their all to live the character.
Production - It never disappointed
Music - Great
Idea - The best and the unique one

Bad things -
The length. There was a lot that could be shown, and if they pulled off a drama with a longer length, at least of 16 episodes, it would have been a better drama.
I would have liked it if they showed yoo na's character more. She was someone who could have made this drama even better. Her position would be a good way to educate people about serious topics.
I would have also loved to see nam jun's side of the story. Much as he was the bad one, I wanted to hear his story more precisely.
Also the relationship between the MLs was quick. Especially considering how they could have made their thoughts clearer.

In the end, I think it is a good story that could have been a legendary one if they took more effort to make it longer. I know there might be tons of reasons for this, but still.
Is it worth watching - totally yes.
