Great Drama.

This Korean drama is a total package you will laugh, cry, feel excited, and motivated at the same time. It's not your typically office romance because you will learn every episode it teaches us about life, friendship, family and what are the ups and downs in starting a business. I really loved the intro of this show the colorful palette and how they present the "swing girl" and reveal her meaning throughout the show.

And what I've learned in watching this show is:

1. It's okay to fail. In life whether you're in your 20s or 40s we always encounter failure. Just like Nam Do Sam the computer genius but not a perfect CEO, and Seo Dal Mi she started a business at first, then she fail. We tend to consider mistakes as a closing door but sometimes life is very tricky, just like in a competition there are two types of losers. One that accepts that he/she lost and moved on because they learned that its not their endgame and the one that see it not a lost but an opportunity to build another and at the end they both become successful.

2. Family is everywhere. Han Ji Pyeong don't have a family and living by himself but he finds a family with Halmeoni (Choi Won Deok).

3. Perfect does not exist. What you really see is not what really is, the characters of Won In Jae, Han Ji Pyeong, Won Doo Jung, and, Cha A Hyun at first you see that they have everything but deep inside there all incomplete and not happy.

4. Building a business is like riding a roller coaster, It only goes up and down my friend. Winning a contract is not your always, criticism is everywhere that brings you down in a blink of an eye. And not all the time you are stable, remember the sea is not calm all the time. Based on the show in starting a business you need to be brave in order to take risk in any given situation.

5. Always learn to forgive. Forgiveness can be the hardest but at the end it will take you to peace.

6. Learn to Connect and Reconnect. Have you realize that what if your story is connected to other people stories? Its one of the things I like in this drama how they present the "storytelling part" how the characters is connected to one another. I admired how they write the story of Han Ji Pyeong and Halmeoni they left off in a bad state but through Seo Dal Mi, Han Ji Pyeong learns to reconnect to Halmeoni once again.

7. Be the 'Good One'. Whatever happens always choose to be the good person and help other people it doesn't matter if its big or small doing one good deed at a time gives a great impact to our society and humanity.

Melodrama mix with Comedy

I must say 2016 is truly the golden era of kdrama's. Loved the mixture of melodrama and comedy in every episode. And I wonder how much beer and soju every character consumed in this drama, because from ep 1 to end their always drunk.

In this drama you'll feel love, passion, neglected, irritated, regrets and a lot of misunderstandings.

My realization in life for this drama:

• Being compared to other people is really hard, it makes you question yourself and increase your insecurities. Note: if you are going to have a child, think carefully about the name; you have 9 months to contemplate. BE CREATIVE.
Example: stormi or north west.

• A mother's golden heart. Oh hae-young's mother shows how parents hurt more if they see their children in pain. She needs to be tough in order to protect her family.

• For all the unfortunate events comes in our life some people wants to stay drunk, because they want to forget their problems even for a moment. "Drunk to forget, than to stay sober and suffer".

• See Episode 12 (46:00 - 44:35) in netflix to follow: Love can make you fool and you knew it but you can't help it.

• Family are the one's that understand you the most you can count on them. Remember: "Some fights in life you'll need someone because not all the time you are always fighting alone."

For me its 8/10 its a fun and great drama I can rewatched it again. I loved the chemistry between the leads and I find Eric Mun's acting fitted to romance and action genres. And I really appriciate the gallons or tears Seo Hyun Jin's invested in this drama she cried a lot than in Dr. Romantic. And especially I loved all the supporting characters for lifting the mood after the heavy scenes.

And the reason why its not 10 because, first I find it weird how they showed the vision part of do kyung but I like the character development at the end. And sometimes I find annoying the female lead, always thinking herself first.

Season 2 is a must.

Good drama, great plot, acting and production. It’s a light romance drama it contains a lot of lovey-dovey scenes and comedy its perfect for those viewers who wants to relax after a stressful week, because it doesn’t have any annoying rival or antagonist in the show.

--------------- SPOILERS AHEAD ---------------

--------------- STOP ~ DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARNED YOU ---------------

1. Plot.

Guys can say that the cells steal the spotlight, and the voice actors did a really good job! (watch their behind-the-scenes) I missed reason, emotion, hunger, love cell and lust and lustsaurus cells and each and every one of them. hehehe... I like how they present the scenes from the real to animation without creating any confusion to the viewers. I like the storyline because it shows what’s really going on in someone’s life, it gives the audience an idea of what emotions we feel in different situations, and they presented it in a clever way through 'talking cells'.

And as an introvert I can relate to Go Woong’s character, its hard to say things than thinking so as a result it creates a more misunderstanding, while Yumi her emotions speak louder in every situation that sometime create tension to the relationship. And I think they got me in the episode where in Yumi’s dream that the relationship of her and Woong is only a dream that Woong is an actor.

And for the supporting cast watch out for the characters of Ruby, Bobby, Seo Sae Yi and Ugi they add little spiciness to finish this dish. In my opinion, I’m okay with the ending its more realistic I think, not all relationship is perfect, everyone has flaws and reason that they choose to pick that card in the end but I’m also one of those hoping it’ll still have season two because we want MORE!!! and Go Woong is still Yumi’s endgame… ^_^ or not?!… >_<.

2. Acting

Ahn Bo Hyun give a different vibe in this drama the last time I watched him in Itaewon Class I'm very annoyed with his character, but here you'll loved him, and, in this drama, he proved that he can also be the main lead and not just a supporting character and as usual Kim Go Eun really did a good job portraying Yumi's character to life. In terms of their costume I like the pastel tones it gives more sweet romance vibe…(beware of the ‘bob cut girl’ and the boho style lead’) I loved the episode where Yumi and Woong first met, Woong's shirt is the same design in the webtoon I like how meticulous they are that they followed the even these slightest things from the webtoon to the drama.

3. Production

Kudos to the whole production team, actors and voice actors that manage this show from the beginning until the end they create a wonderful show that is dramatic and entertaining. At first, I'm a bit hesitant watching this show because of the animation that it might be cringey, but I was wrong because Yumi's Cells is an awesome show and a must watch I loved the cinematography, camera movements and the animation, overall, it’s a thumbs up for me! I recommend it to all the viewers who wants a light romance drama series.

The second female lead syndrome is real.

This drama is perfect for medical students or someone interested in shows within the medical field, it gives viewers some ideas how to work in the hospital with all the surgeries and stuff, but the show also focuses more on politics, competitions and in terms of the story especially the love story part ahhhh... I always cringe. At first I find this drama very exciting, the drama started as good like a Bibimbap they presented different kinds of ingredients in the first few episodes such as action, thriller, drama, and romance. But in my experienced, as I continued to take my adventure in this show just like a bibimpap they all mixed up together and I get confused and I find it very disappointing like you want plot twists but because of too many plot twists I don't know what the characters are doing, like what??! I'm confused please enlighten me!!! I started to get bored watching at episode 6 and decided to put it on hold but I still give it a chance why not?! its Lee Jung Suk!! but after episode 8 and 9 sorry, but I will give it a no... >-<

If you are asking if I will recommend it? No and Maybe?. If I'm gonna watched it again? No.
