Nice concept, better exicution needed

Lets get all the bad things out of the way first... They literally played of attempted rape like it was a bad cup of tea, and just tossed the entire situation down the drain. This was seriously upsetting to me, he would have been beaten till that blond came out his hair. Something so serious should never be played off like that. The acting was borderline horrific, Gu Han and whosoever was supposed to be possessing him had one of the most cringe worthy evil laughs that I have ever heard. Not to mention that baritone voice cliché with evil characters... Please eh, Next!! Most of the actors had literally the same hair style which honestly had me mixing them up sometimes. Xiao Mo didn't need that "make over" in my opinion and that over touchy gay boy cliché that was prancing around violating every male's character personal space was not cool at all, it was so random and pointless, not even a comic relief. Their acting was fairly (being polite) alright but honestly some of them have no depth to their emotion and tears doesn't equal to emotions. The entire first episode was filled with bad acting and semi fantastic fight scenes which came back to hunt us in later episodes. Did I mention that I still waiting for the BL portion of this series? because there isn't any... This is a bromance at best, but since some of it seem a little rushed, their relationship isn't all that clear. The ending was laughable but not in a good way. I mean like seriously, don't bully my feelings, don't bully my feelings. Steups.

However, them boys be fine as the magic from heaven. Lu Bai can literally wear anything and he is a sight for sore eyes. There was practically no fan service but I still felt like just having him on screen was enough. Xiao Mo had such a relatable cuteness to him that just made me want to hug him. Now that I got that out of the way, lets get into the story. I loved the fantasy elements of this show. Some magic, some hidden societies, some pointless humans and foxes cannot live together. Though they seem to be able to do such just fine throughout the entire series. The back stories of their original meeting was a bit unrealistic, but still nice to watch. It was pretty cute to have them all on screen together, at least the music worked in favour of the scenes they were assigned to, which helped since some of the scenes were a little lost and underdeveloped. Best you just watch for the eye candy.
