A Haphazard story which you can skip
I liked the cast and the casting. The story too looked promising until it wasn't. For a plot with a lot of potential it had it has its own set of loopholes and loose ends.Given the drama format plot jump between scenes is understandable. But the ending can't be so.. the story and more specifically the last episode left a lot of questions unanswered.
Will I want to watch this drama again? The answer is a big NO.
Would I recommend this drama?
May be you can if you have time to kill you can give it a try. But again there are better ones out there.

Practice fights
The story began with a strong premise just to fall flat in a few episodes.Xu Kai lives the character but the female lead spoils the fun.
There is a romantic angle which lacks depth. How does it start? An accidental kiss is what it takes.
There are mindless fights which are prolonged to fill up time. There has been many a times when I would have fast forwarded the episode but yet not miss anything.
Some characters feel to be hanging out there just to fill up screen space . Maybe they will be needed later. I have watched only 18 episodes and this is an ongoing one for me.
But do I want to continue watching? Do I have the patience? Maybe I could glide through the rest when they are available and see the last episode to give the story a closure.
On the plus side the music is good. The starting track is peppy while the ending is the complete opposite yet soothing.
The English subtitles are not lagging or out of sync.
The VFX seems natural there's nothing that's out of place when it comes to the graphics. This drama has to depend heavily on the computer graphics and that department takes full credit.
Overall this is a one time watch if you are fan of Xu Kai and spear shows.
