Not a very original plot since I've seen this with America's "Miss Congeniality". Kind of figured out the ending by watching the first twelve minutes, although there are some funny twists. I admit, I couldn't stop smiling and grinning while watching this on the campus computers. Although the acting is VERY exaggerated, it was funny and gave a carefree feeling throughout the movie. It was so great that I almost missed my next class, not wanting to move from the computer! I think this movie would be a great movie for the gloomy days where everything just went wrong and you need a good laugh. ;D

I was so eager to finally get the english subtitles for this movie. I was debating on whether or not I should just watch the movie without subtitles and just guess on what they're saying. Knowing what they're saying is the only way to enjoy and know what's happening and to watch it without knowing anything would be a torture. But to say the least, this movie did not disappoint. It was a great movie with a great plot and the characters are really amazing.

The worst thing I could say is that I was really disappointed with the ending. I think that they could have done more to change the ending a little, but I just didn't like the way they just left it at that. If they ever make a sequel, I would definitely want to know what happens after that.

For those Song Joong Ki fans, I think you already know he doesn't talk in this movie much, but it is indeed very rewarding for those scenes that he does. I would definitely recommend this movie to others as well since I think this is the only drama/movie that I've given a 10 on in ratings.

I think this movie is typical Hong Kong drama, a little bit of an overreaction here and there, but nonetheless a very interesting plot line that keeps you clicking for the next part of the movie. Great morals to learn and a OST that rarely discriminates between age group and genre. Kind of language heavy, but other than that, very funny!

Okay, some of you may disagree with me on this, but there were some down sides. I really liked this drama because
1) It left me with a good feeling at the end. You know how at the end of some dramas you're still kind of 'wtf just happened, how did it end like this' feeling? Well, TMTETS did a good job of completing the whole story
2) The actors were outstanding in how they acted and their reactions to the things that were done. Even though I hated the queen, I still felt sorry for her since her father, or no one, loved her at all.
3) Even though they aired two episodes in one week, their cliff hangers at the end of every Thursday episode was the worst to wait for. Especially when something REALLY exciting happened, it just turned out to be the Thursday episode. And the solution was a week away, leaving viewers to hold their breath until the next one airs.

However, some things I didn't particularly like were things like
1) The casting. I know they all did a good job, but I wanted a more suitable couple pairing. I just keep on remembering how when they first turned into adults and they showed the 'grown-up' version of everybody, the brother didn't look like how I imagined him to be and they were kind of off on some other things too. Like she looked a bit too old for him even though they were the same age, etc. But I'm not saying they weren't great, I'm just saying that the casting could've been better. The actors and actresses themselves were outstanding, but some things could have been changed.
2) The dramatic irony is unbearable for the viewers! I mean, there were so many times that the characters could've just done one thing to solve all the problems that would come, but nooo they had to, HAD TO do it the harder way and keep secrets and cause all of these problems. Sometimes, there were times when I even started cursing at my computer screen because they were being so dumb; not to mention the considerable acts of violence that have befallen on my laptop because of it. -__-"

In all, there were more good things then bad for this drama, but it was all worth watching! Have fun and don't break too many things while you wait for the plot to unfold. I like complete and happy endings that make sense, so if you're like that too, it won't disappoint. ;D

I really did not like this drama. At first I thought it would be a little like Master's Sun and Spellbound (Korean Movie), where there was a paranormal element in a romcom way. Boy, let me tell you that that was a big letdown. The drama DID start off well, it had a good storyline, the casting was star studded, and it was something that I had been waiting for since I like all the paranormal/romcom mishmash stuff. But then the storyline got dragged out, the characters started doing dumb things (i.e. breaking up and then making up at a drop of a hat, I don't really get why they broke up/made up), the chemistry with the main couple was just downright awkward, not to mention that their relationship went from 0-100 real quick. I just didn't know when they started catching feelings nor did I sense ANY chemistry between them at all. I thought the main female lead, Song Ji Hyo, had more chemistry with the second lead, Lee Ki Gwang, in one scene than she did with the main male lead, Park Shi Hoo, in the whole drama. I don't know if it was the way the drama was directed, the writing, or just the actors/actresses, but the whole thing was very cringy.

I've seen some of PSH's other stuff and they weren't that bad, but it was just really bad in this drama. His acting, that is. Every line that came out of his mouth was overly dramatized, he took long awkward pauses in between his love declarations, and his kiss scenes with SJH looked like, idk, gross and awkward. I have no problems with a-hole-like characters. I mean, I enjoyed What's Wrong With Secretary Kim a lot. This guy though, this character, he took the meaning of "self-centered" to a whole new level of a-hole debauchery. Everything bad that happened had to be because of him. It was like, dude, we know it's all because of you, but could you just stop playing victim and shit, and get your shit together? Maybe I'm being too judgemental, but it's not something I want to see in a male LEAD.

I know I already said this, but they have no chemistry as a couple at all. To those who have completed this drama: tell me that you didn't want SJH and LKG to end up together. As a long time lover of dramas (mind you, my first dramas were Full House, Winter Sonata, Stairway to Heaven, Truth, etc), this is the one time I desperately wanted the leading lady to end up with the second lead. Yeah, there were a couple times I thought, "Hey, it would be better for her (lead female) to end up with said second lead, but it's okay since lead female and lead male have such good chemistry and love each other so much". No. This was NOT like that. I really thought that they (PSH and SJH) would end up friends and meet up later in life or something. Dont even get me started on their kiss scene in the elevator. No one should ever have to see that clip. That clip should be clipped out of internet history and burned. That is what I feel about their "passionate" kiss in the elevator.

Anyway, long rant aside, why did I decide to finish this drama? Because I thought that the ending would explain the whole plot and things would get good again, like the naive child I am. Things were wrapped up nicely, some things were explained, but there wasn't a romantic element to the ending at all. You know how at the end of a drama you could tell if it was good or not just by how you can feel the butterfly in your stomach, toe curling, and/or heart warming sensations? Well, this drama had none of that. At the end of most dramas I long for something more at the end of each ending, like I would wonder about what happens next or wait to see the rolling credits to see if they give a glimpse into their "after" life. In this drama, I couldn't wait to just be done with the drama. I didn't even want to watch the rolling credits. I couldn't care less about what happened next in the characters' lives and I wasn't generally left with a "I want more of this couple" feeling.

I'm just going leave this review with some of the good things in the drama. The second lead, Lee Gi Kwang, did an excellent job with his acting. He was lovable, his lines seemed natural and even though he could see ghosts, his reactions were perfect. I thought they were going to go into that more, but nothing really developed other than "oh, he can see ghosts." I would really just like to see a drama with the continuation of this storyline, but in his perspective. I think it would be a better story than the original. The other thing was the OST. Oh my lord, I loved this soundtrack! If you like mellow music and not overly complicated, bubbly type of music, THIS. IS. THE. SOUNDTRACK. FOR. YOU. The beats and tunes are catchy and although some of the english in some of the songs are iffy, it's too cute that you don't really care anymore.

Well, that ends my overly rant-y review!
