CLIFFHANGER

Watching this as an American who doesn't know much about Thai Culture and Folklore, I'd have to say that this was both diappointing in that it only lasted 23 minutes and didn't have enough time to develop the whole plot and explain elaborately the whole meaning and belief behind the Folklore of Phi Ta Khon. So in that regard I was truly disapppointed that it was so brief and truly believe that it should be developed more to fill in the gaps as I personally see great potential in it being a successful movie or series cause it definitely left off on a cliffhanger that left me wanting more. As for the short movie itself I think it was very well done and although I may be biased cause I simply love him, but none of the other Thai Actors that I foullowed could have done this movie better than Krit Krittin Sosungnern. Although he's relatively new to the acting scene and hasn't done much, but with both Love By Chance 2 and now Those That Follow, it is clear and evident that IF he chooses to continue his acting career, that Krit Krittin Sosungnern will be a definite force to reckon with. Both Kritt's appearance and his acting combined gives you the sense that although he's an actor by occupation, that he's not really acting but he's bringing his character to life by completely emersing himself in the role.

Without giving any spoilers I would have to say that this short movie covers a range of topics even in that brief time. Partly about traditions, crime, consequences, personal responsibility, inner conflicts, paranoia, loyalty, family, doing things that you're neither proud of nor want to do because you think it's the right thing in the moment and much more which I why I believe that this should become a whole entire full length movie or a series rather than just leaving it as this short. After watching this, I am truly intrigued not only by Kritt's ability to convey the plot, but I am left wanting to know more about the Phi Ta Khon as I previously mentioned, I also want to know the full story of how the characters ending up in the predicament that they ultimately found themselves in and definitely a full conclusion that doesn't leave room for interpretation.

Overall, I think that it is an enjoyable short and that people should watch it and could keep rewatching it without getting bored of it cause each time they may notice something that they hadn't noticed before. Congratulations Mr. Krit Krittin Sosungnern, you definitely proved yourself in this one for sure IF anyone still doubted you after Love By Chance 2.

My 2 cents

For me, this was kind of doomed from the beginning because of them trying to take the ending of a different series and making it the beginning of this one, and also that they changed the storyline for the characters of the other drama and this one. If you are a person who looks at the bigger picture, then this series would appeal to you because it is a good story line and gets more interesting as it goes along and also has a bit of suspense included. However, IF you are the type that wants the whole plot laid out for you from the beginning, then this is snot for you at all. The cast are wonderful and really show their acting skills by really portraying their characters. Personally, I would strongly recommend that anyone who wants to watch this drama to begin it with an open mind as well as the patience necessary for watching a series that develops as time goes by in order to get the whole picture. It is romantic, at times sad and a whole lot of comedic. If not for anyone else, during the series watch out for the characters Sab, Jack, Koh and Klui because for me they were the characters that made the series one of the funniest dramas. That is if you're a comedy buff and look for dramas that are based on comedy. If you want a character that is somewhat mysterious and conflicted which leaves you wondering about them, then you wanna look out for P'Thanu and Sandee. Everyone else pretty adds to what these 6 characters bring to the show in my opinion. Again I do recommend it!!!

ACTORS WORTH LOOKING OUT FOR!!!

Clifford is an extremely talented young man who in my opinion doesn't get the recognition and fandom that he rightfully deserves. At such a young age he balances acting, modeling and athleticism and he does it quite flawlessly and without stress. I am not privileged to know what his daily life is like, but with all he does I'm sure that his days are pretty hectic, but yet he has time to personally respond to fan comments and answer personal messages. Besides being sexy as hell he seems to be pretty down to earth and treats everyone with respect, so please watch out for him and help raise his fan base on all social media platforms because he's destined for great things and we should all start supporting him now and not wait till he makes it big!!! his IG is @clifford_pusing19 so IF you use IG please follow him and encourage others to do so as well cause he's definitely worth supporting in my opinion, but read about him and watch his dramas and determine for yourself.

His character of Zach represents the characters of many young people who find themselves becoming curious and some eventually becoming aware of their sexuality through exploration by being open minded. Unsure of himself in the beginning Zach follows up on his curiosity without any concrete preconceived notions on sexuality albeit there was a bit of prejudice on his part about religious people and what he felt was their hypocrisies. However, overall all the actors combined presented a well thought out plot that in the end gives you the impression that it's okay to have some apprehensions in life about different things, but it's better for you if you keep an open mind and judge it's thing at face value. Most importantly though, this series in my opinion shows that no matter how love develops it can completely overwhelm us unless we are mature and responsible enough to deal with it.

I watched every last one of the episodes and I watched the special edition as well, and I absolutely loved both. However, I am a bit disappointed in the fact that the writer left the chemistry between Wei WuXian and WangJi to the imagination. With a story line so great, at least a kiss between the two or a confession would have made it all the better, but then again I watched every episode and the special hoping that every scene coming up between Wei and WangJi would result in a kiss. I suppose that because of the laws in the Asian countries makes it so that a writer could only push the boundaries so much, when you have a story line that basically every body and their mama is in love with someone, their relationship should be blunt and not left to innuendos. On the upside though, I give the writer and director high praises for having made this drama because despite what I wanted to see more of, the story reflected love & loyalty and how those two things when combined could be very powerful and cause even the strictest person (WangJi) to open up his heart to a goofball like (Wei WuXIan) because he saw the inner Wei rather than what he seemed to be externally. Wang Yi Bo and Sean Xiao were superb as the main actors and their delivery of the content of the story kept me watching episode after episode despite telling myself that this would be the last episode for me that day. I also loved the relationship between Wen Ning and Wei because it reveals that even when someone has completely lost their way, that there is that one person in their life that will make them make a change for the better as evidenced by the ability of Wei to be the one person that Wen Ning would always recognized and force himself to resist doing bad things. Paul Yu is another amazing actor in my opinion because he undertook a character that was supposed to be somewhat dumbwhitted, but he made you love him because of his sincerity and being able to display that he is a lot more mentally sharp then people think he is. Overall, I LOVED this drama and would definitely watch a sequel of it!!!

This is definitely one of those dramas that you watch in a series and it makes you feel like it should be a series of it's own, and I for one sincerely HOPE & PRAY that the writer and director won't disappoint me in that!!! I want to see what Mang does while waiting for Tang Yi to come out of jail, I want to see what their life after that will be like, will Tang Yi have redemption, will Jack and Zhao's love truly flourish because I felt like the ending was rushed and left a major cliffhanger. But overall I LOVED IT, and after it ended I was too distraught to even want to watch Make Our Days Count because for me Trapped too good to be topped and I didn't want a disappointing overview of what followed make me feel let down!!!
