I was disappointed to see remarks like "cheesy" referring to a beautifully executed love story. The individual episodes were well crafted and the dialogue was good. As a writer of English literature and plays I might have made some changes for imperial grandeur, but that is just ego ????. I thought the lead characters handsome/beautiful and their acting drew me in to a state of empathy. The actor who played Dae. amok was riveting to watch and he dominated his scenes with studied displays of fiendish cunning. I though the fight scenes were well staged and overall, I thought the style and pace were better than Chinese and Japanese films I have seen. I can understand young American males finding the latest ve scenes cheesy, but, as a gay man, I thought them perfect and staged without the needless nudity of Hollywood. I was brought to tears on several occasions and marvelled at the plot twists in episode after episode. My ambition is to have a part in one of these Korean films - even though the English are always cast as villains. Thanks to Directors, Writers, cast and crew for a great day xperience and lasting memories. You must all work very ha d in series after series and yet look so fresh. Must mention the costumes. The male Korean clothing was exquisite and the girls looked great too 감사합니다
