Textbook good 40-60 episode drama

This is arguably one of my favorite dramas of all time if not my favorite anyone whos making a 40+ drama should watch this because of its pacing. one thing i love about Wangs Family is the proper pacing paired with the amazing writing. no scene has poorly written dialogue that feels boring and stretched out and it never dwells on anyone scene or story element its always pushing forward to the next thing or the next stage in that arc always keeping you on your toes. And while you will have those cheezy dramas elements where things happen for the most part almost every character will go through a wonderfully written storyline and its still a joy to rewatch, everything ties together nothing feels left out by the end its just nice to see a very solid drama especially for me because im not always interested in every characters in drama but here they're all great

Just unnecessary long

One of my biggest problems is that it's too long to a point where you can skip not episodes but you can skip a lot of unnecessary scenes. the first 60 episode give or a take a 10 episodes are great but once you go past the halfway mark a lot of the episodes is regurgitating the drama or the problem without any solution multiple times to Strech it out that add nothing to the story, yes there are key moments with importance but it still feels like I'm being dragged on again there's no build-up to the big drama scene that happens every 5-10 episodes. again, certain scenes in episodes can be skipped and you could still figure out what was going on,

And the ending is just worse its your usual happy go lucky everybodys friends and stuff i wouldn't have a problem with it if it wasn't mega rushed. it was the problem above but reversed they tried squeezing these conflict resolves without any character development into 3 30-minute episodes when they literally could have used past episodes that contained scenes that didn't add anything to the plot other than regurgitating the drama

a nice solid drama with 1 or 2 flaws

its a nice solid drama. the story is solid its enjoyable its an over arching plot from beginning to end it never overstays its welcome. despite being 20 episodes it never stays to long on one point in the story it moves on the next thing. all of the major conflict's surrounding the main character/important side characters are resolved by the end , and it feels good too its perfectly resolved its not rushed out its actually a nice happy ending which is more than most dramas have usually they might have a rushed everybody's friends now ending, like I can't stress how much I enjoyed the ending.

The casting is for the most part is pretty solid as well a bit shaky sometimes but good.

my only real complaints are 2 maybe 3 things

My biggest complaint is the music its not bad its good its just they needed more music to fit certain scenes. 1 sad song can't be used for every sad moment or the 1 or 2 romantic songs can't be used for every single romantic moment. when its good and it fits dang is it good but when it doesn't it just feels off

there was a plot around a character introduced at the start that was very important that got dropped I think because it didnt serve the over arching plot past a certain point

and there were some recurring side characters that were actually somewhat interesting and would have liked to see more but they didnt go anywhere. but then again its not a big family. multi couple, longer drama and the story still works so I can't complain to much just deep down I wish ya know?
