Where do I start?
I came for Alen. I got to episode 6. The only reason I got that far was the comedy. The story is a train wreck though. Too many idiots in a confined space. The third generation of warriors in the Yan Shan sect really aren't smart. How did they ever have apprentices? And their apprentices are smarter than them. Even the Grand Master kept mentally face palming. I kinda get where the story will be going in the future but it will be too excruciating for me to watch. I don't see enough of Alen in this even though he got top billing. I really hate to give such a review. Sorry Alen. I have to wave goodbye. Was this review helpful to you?

Well they got me...
From the very first episode I hated the choppiness of the scenes until the third episode when it occurred to me maybe this was really intentional. Maybe we were watching scenes from more than one season. I mean there was just a TV series where you could watch from beginning to end or from end to beginning depending on whose story you wanted to watch. So why not? I have to say despite the choppy scenes I couldn't stop watching. I love time travel stories. Now that messed up ending would only make sense if there was another season or maybe two. If not, then it will go in my rabbit hole of tv series that haunt me every now and again with 'what the heck did I watch?' But here's hoping the ride ain't over yet.Was this review helpful to you?
