It feels nothing like a romance.
So i watched this show like 3 years ago and im just now writing a review cause i remembered how much i hate this show. I mean in episode 3 tharn just fully sexually assaulted type in the bathroom. This show romanticizes rape and homophobia.What i mean't by it feels nothing like a romance is that it feels more like a show about someone going into a manipulative relationship started by sexual assault and homophobia.
I really recommend to not watch this show especially LGBTQIA+ people because I seriously felt like crap after watching this. It makes a comedy out of peoples actual experiences with rape, SA and homophobia.

Made me long for a second season
In the past 3 years of using this website I have never reviewed any show I've watched but this one I have too because it was beautiful. When I first got into it I was nervous that it might start happy but end sad, thankfully that wasn't the case. Obviously it wasn't all happy which is good because it shows hardships many people go through. One thing I loved about this show is that Qi Zhang and Ye Guang always communicated with each other. I seriously cant even type this review correctly because there's so much to say about this show and its all good. Please at least give this show a try its amazing.Was this review helpful to you?
I hated it so much but i would watch it 100x over.
So let me start off by saying that the plot was pretty good granted i do have a bit of daddy issues so a controlling man is kinda my cup of tea, sorry thats tmi, but i really thought i was gonna just watch the first episode cause i was bored and had nothing else to watch, but i invested my life and soul into this show, its not even boring it has okay pacing for how bad it is. The music was terrible though, if you've ever heard of a game called Heavy Rain, that's what it reminded me of just blaring crunchy piano music.I know a lot of people were comparing it to kinnporsche which i get cause they're both mafia dramas but i didn't really like kinnporsche because it was too serious and got confusing at the end so i wont compare them.
I NEED TO SAY THIS, if you are going to make a show about s3x (idk if im allowed to say that) specifically BDSM, include it in the show. What im saying is, there was like 2 nc scenes in the show, thats not the part im mad about but the fact that they were lowkey uncomfortable and that was the only time we ever saw them really kiss kind of made me mad. Also they acted like Kamol was into some hardcore BDSM for him to just pull out one chain in a shower and thats it.
