Creeped Up To the Top of My All Time Favorites

59 episodes was not enough. I usually shy away from long dramas since I have a full time job and two kids to take care of at home! But somehow I gave this drama a chance, and just couldn't stop watching it! I never thought any drama could top Eternal Love / Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms for me. Love and Redemption did just that. There is a purity to Si Feng's love that is just so captivating. Both ML and FL's acting were very impressive, very natural and they just fit so well with each other. I didn't find Si Feng handsome nor Xuan Ji pretty in the beginning, but after 1 episode, Si Feng became super handsome and Xuanji, super adorable. The actress was able to pull off so well the young naive girl (not in an annoying way, but very believable and sweet way), and in order to protect Si Feng and loved ones, she could pull off the super protective and powerful fighter persona really well too. Cheng Yi's acting was truly the best in the drama - he IS Si Feng. Their acting and chemistry together is unbeatable. I like that even though Xuan Ji didn't have her 6 senses, her actions still showed that deep in her heart, there was love for Si Feng already. There were a few parts that I got frustrated at her (but her actions and words are very understandable, so please don't misunderstand or give up on her), but for the most part, she was a very lovable character that I was rooting for all the way! She is one lucky girl to have Si Feng's love and heart 100%. I believe love should be 100%. Not 99%, not 70%. I don't like love triangles for that reason. I don't think the love is pure enough if the ML or FL is able to sort of fall for another person, even if it's for a short period or slightly. Si Feng is 100% faithful! He set the bar so high that I can't imagine another ML touching my heart the same way! He is also 100% loyal to his people and his friends. This drama is soo satisfying regarding romantic scenes. There is a super passionate kiss in ep 52, and lovely hand holding, hugs, sweet gazes throughout to satisfy the hopeless romantic. I don't want to give away any of the story, but I have to say, the 59 episodes are 100% worth it.

Most beautifully haunting story about faithful love and makes you feel every emotion as if you are going through it all together with them. This has topped my list of dramas watched in my whole life so far. I almost always avoid starting dramas with more than 20 episodes but thanks to good reviews and in trying to get over Love O2O, I discovered this. Now I wonder how I will be able to watch other dramas because the acting was the best I've seen. Mark Chao made me believe YeHua Is real. This drama has set the standard and I believe it will become legendary among all dramas. I totally recommend this and it deserves 10 stars. I enjoyed this more than Goblin, DOTS, Coffee Prince, etc.

Laughter and tears

I don't follow or listen to Kpop. This show caught my attention when I saw some news and clips about the contestants here and there on the web in the beginning of April. Out of curiosity, I watched some highlights through short clips and some performance videos and decided to see the finale (which was pretty funny and fancams showed some funny angles). All top 18 were super talented and had great chemistry and seemed debut ready! Contestants Zhanghao, Sung Hanbin, Han Yu Jin, and Ricky stood out the most to me. I think they have star quality and shine on camera. There are many talented people in the world with even better talent, but not all of them have the star quality and charisma that attracts the audience.

3 weeks after the show ended, I found time to watch the entire Boys Planet, and now I can understand some of the inside jokes that I couldn't understand before. Gyuvin's "Did you only perform Love Killa for years?" is so funny and what a comeback at the dance master! After watching the entire show, I've added Gyuvin and Gunwook to the list of contestants that stood out to me personally.

I also had no idea a Chinese company named YueHua had such talented and fun Korean and Chinese trainees. Again, I'm not into Kpop, so there are many things I may not know well while watching the show. For me, the standout performances are: Kill This Love, En Garde, Jelly Pop, Tomboy, Over Me, Say My Name, Back Door (K group), and Love Killa.

I would not have ever thought I'd watch this show, but through the passionate fan's endearing edits online, I'm glad I could follow the journey of the young men running together to achieve their dreams. The fan taken videos with scenes that showcase the trainee's characters are what helped make the show more memorable as well. A question I asked myself was, who would I have voted as my one pick if I had the chance to vote? It would be Zhanghao. Congrats to him for winning! Wishing him and the rest of the final group great success.

Unexpected Gem with the sweetest chemistry

I’ve fallen hard for Wang An Yu’s acting and character in Forever Love! This simple youth drama brought me back to my youth and I felt every heartbeat of the leads. They’re just so darn cute.

I don’t normally write reviews but I think this is now one of my favorite youth dramas now. I didn’t have any expectations and was expecting to skip scenes, but I didn’t end up skipping much! It’s generally light and fluffy with a few serious moments. There were some parts that I wish was written differently and felt some side characters were miscast (hence knocking 1 star). But the main leads are totally worth it. (Would rate the leads 10/10) The chemistry between the leads are off the charts. They don’t even need to physically touch for you to feel just how much they care for and love each other.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Wang An Yu’s loving gaze goes straight through the screen and you may find yourself blushing too! :)

I recommend this drama 100 out of 10. I don't want to exagerate because it isn't an Oscar worthy type of drama. It's more of a fluffy youth drama. But it's the type of drama that will tug on your heart strings and bring you on the journey of Jiang Chen and Xiao Xia and all the side characters. I haven't felt bored once during the drama. My heart fluttered a lot and I'm in my mid 30s with children, and a great husband. This youth drama is not only for youth. I think all ages can appreciate this drama reminding us of pure and innocent love. I feel that the team behind the drama did a great job at keeping this drama light-hearted while addressing very important life lessons.

This drama made me feel that Chinese entertainment is catching on to the current trends and this drama has become a favorite modern Chinese drama of mine. The acting is natural and not cringy at all. The actors did a great job as newbies at portraying their characters to be believable. It is hard to get over this drama!

I also feel that this drama will capture the heart of many international fans. The actors portraying Jiang Chen and Xiao Xi have very likable qualities and personalities offscreen that would draw people to them. If China produces more dramas like this, it will definitely open up more interest in Chinese dramas.

P.S. - I wasn't interested in the trailers until I watched this Youtube Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y7LjuIsHdw - If you are hesitating and wondering about the storyline - watch this 7 minute video and trust me - you will want to watch the whole thing!
