When you're not completely satisfied and that makes the series all the more satisfying
The DOPs in Japanese shows really know how to set up a frame. Mood Indigo is replete with beautiful, heart breaking cinematic frames. There are moments in the series when you're not sure you agree with the path in which the story travels, and that frustrates you, the viewer, and yet you're still watching. There are basic human conditions of loneliness, heartache, heartbreak, lust, jealousy, rage and so many more that come into play in Mood Indigo. It consumes you.
The chemistry between the leads, between one of the leads and his mentor are so intense; sometimes you're slightly embarrassed for witnessing their interactions.
I rate highly based on whether I would watch this again...and I so would. It pairs so well with Pornographer.

I'm Tee and this show was a choice.
It doesn't really matter what the reviews are...plans for a fan meet must already be underway one would assume.Episodes 5 and 6 (which deal with New and Singto) are the standouts in terms of storyline.
Am really trying to articulate why this show gets a 4.5 rating and it's difficult to put the banality which is the show's premise into words - popular BL actors star in a show where they all have the same name and stay in the same house. One is afraid of ghosts, another of beautiful women, the sound of someone chewing food...amusing right? yea, no.
The standout for me as a character was the house in which this show takes place. Architecture is beautiful, the bedrooms have a certain moodiness to them, the living and dining spaces have great natural light and stunning furniture pieces. The lighting fixtures seem a bit too 'on-trend'. The outdoor area of the house has been landscaped really well.
Please watch the show if you're die hard fans of the actors. Please don't lose hope on Thai drama industry on watching it though. There are some real good shows on at the moment.

painful to watch. I must've been going through a masochistic streak to subject myself to this show.
Mediocre content is not representation.
Avoid at all costs.

An hour of my life that I will never get back.
What was the need for such mindless drivel? I've given a 3/10 only because of white + mike. I've liked off and gun in tv shows (gun is so good in the gifted) but this was not it. A stale, toxic relationship. Nothing new or nuanced in the story. GMMTV needs to stop pandering to what cis-women want of gay men and queer-baiting branding exercises for their straight actors in gay male roles. Are there any nice LGBT/queer series that the network has crafted so far in the last two years? Please recommend (if anyone is reading this). I'd like to watch them. Thanks.

Let's start at the very beginning
This show is basically about counting a thousand stars in the night sky (not really but yes) and by the end of it I felt like I wasted my time. The music is wonderful. The male leads, Nammon and the children have acted really well. Drake and White are completely wasted in this series. Pure self -indulgence on the director and storyteller's parts. Am sure this show will find it's fans but did not work for me at all. Had so much material to make it really work! Ah well. Maybe another director can revisit the premise in the future. Earth deserves a powerful starring vehicle pronto. Was this review helpful to you?

That damn dog Chukchuk. My Day really started off so well but towards the end of it, I kind of wanted the lead couple not to end up together because of the convoluted mess that the series evolved into.
Gallardo has great screen presence and Torres was somewhere there I guess. The plot line of Ace's mum wasn't fleshed out enough, the quirks of the housekeeper turned grating real quick. The actors who play Sky's family were wonderful in their roles.
Sky and Moira - their story arc was just inane...how do you let someone constantly belittle your family and partner without standing up for them?
Ace's character obviously needs therapy in order to sort out his mafia-esque father and additionally his creepy obsession + personification of Chukchuk. Damn that dog.
Please don't green light a season 2. Instead reintroduce the actors in a better crafted queer series.
Watch this series if you're bored or while waiting for your preferred series episodes to be subbed or if you're curious enough about Gallardo post his online scandal.

An instant classic
Every visual, every half-frame sweeps you up in 'I Told Sunset About You'. Stellar script, direction. The two male leads were so mature in their approach to their roles. I have to single out the technical crew of this show - the DOP, lighting department, sound team, set and clothing professionals, brilliant...the right shades of blue; whether in the sea, a shirt or a carpet on the floor. The instant change in mood because of the camera work, the 90's canto vibe brought about by colour treatment and production, this Thai show is in every manner and form - exemplary.Heightened situations which humans go through when transitioning from high school to university, adolescence to full blown puberty, breaking through the all encompassing vice-like grip that heteronormative society has one in - it's all been dealt with so much sensitivity, intelligence and bravery. LOVE!

Love by Chance Season 2: A Chance to Love

I'm not a robot
Imagine the following -It's been two weeks since fall season started. The weather is perfect. Ideal to plan your last outdoor picnic. You plan in detail what your picnic basket will contain - smoked, grilled haloumi, cherry tomatoes with a citrus based vinaigrette, cold finger sandwiches, single-serve old school tiramisu. It's anchored with a fruit infused gin cocktail. Your porcelain and minimalist crockery are packed for the same.
You arrive at the park and settle down at a wooded corner where rays of the sun form lipid pools on the ground. Your portable speaker has some ambient music playing and you're re-reading Murakami's Norwegian Wood. ....you decide to take a break and layout your picnic spread. It looks divine. You then take your phone to document this beautiful experience.
Just then the cutest French bulldog comes running over to you. It has a collar + tag. Obviously has gotten away from it's owner albeit for a short while. The dog takes a giant dump on your picnic food. That steaming pile of sh#t is 'Love by chance 2: a chance to love'.

Another missable series from the GMMTV stable
How do half-baked screenplays even reach the production floor? With limited queer content (ones not behind a paywall) available for viewing I still shouldn't have to lower my expectations to enjoy a show. Massive gaps in the storytelling, extremely poor editing, unaddressed inappropriate relationship depictions and awful pacing. The music is sub-par as is the colour grading, cinematography. The last three episodes were cloying. The few pluses to this car-crash of a show would be some of the actors who played the students and professors.
If you haven't watched this series yet, I would recommend giving it a miss.

A must watch
This show with the seemingly implausible storyline turned out to be my favourite from the History series. The two couples in focus have great chemistry. I've read quite a few people, online, not liking Chris Wu's wardrobe but I really like what he wore; the proportions, the lines, he looked great. No distracting, overdrawn sub-plots. The second half of this show leads up to a beautiful crescendo...some stunning, haunting frames here. Some of the scenes contained the vibe that HK movies had in the late 90's early 2000s. So glad I watched this. Was this review helpful to you?
Kim Jun-seok better win all the awards for the OST
The opening credits and the accompanying music drew me in immediately. To watch an intelligent, sensitive legal/crime thriller after what seemed forever was such a delight.Bae Doona, Cho Seung-Woo, Yoo Jae-myung and Shin Hye-sun were brilliant on screen. The OST weaves in and out of Stranger effectively, so much so, that you're still lingering on a certain scene when it has long gone by. There aren't any gratuitous misogyny or violence...it's all integral to building the story and the cast, director and DOP navigate through it all smoothly.
Lee Soo-yeon's written a complex, woven story that is skilfully abstract in places and glaringly clear in the rest.
Such a respite and antidote to the run-of-the-mill saccharine dramas on offer.
Must Watch!!

we're slipping deeper into BL mediocrity
Toxic relationships being regurgitated on loop. Zero storytelling, disjointed character arcs. Series tested formulae of non-helpful, interfering friend circles, engineering students and misplaced music are applied to this show. The only good takeaway was the actor who played Mark. With Taiwanese, Korean, Chinese queer themed and/or BL dramas producing more in-depth, engaging shows and Filipino web series with a firm grip on contemporary issues during COVID-19; the Thai 'BL' industry needs to wake up.So glad that Nadao's I told Sunset About You has started streaming.

What's happening in Thailand?
The premise of Golden Blood is interesting but the show on the whole just wasn't meaty enough. The ensemble cast barring the actor who played Sky acted well. Sky won't be winning any acting awards in the near future for sure.I'd like to see a mini spin-off with Bank and Pitch. They seemed to share great rapport on screen.
Finally can Thai BL production houses and set designers stop making everything look like an early 2000s cafe? The interiors seemed dated because of that and the soft focus lighting aka RPDR season 1 filter.
