A very comforting show
Ngl the story pacing felt very much Gintama style (which I love). But what dragged me into loving the show is the chemistry and romantic hints around Totono and Garou. I hope this gets developed in the next season if it does. There are not that many detective/mystery shows that hints that the male lead is homoromantic while still dealing with the serious topics at hand. Which is what I like about this story and how the drama portrayed this. I wish they couldve made a trio with Garo, Raika and Totono. They would be unstopable honestly so badass. I wish the manga was translated into English so I could read on..Was this review helpful to you?

I am a sucker for childhood revenge trope
The premise of this show very much parallels to an anime called 'Zankyou no Terror'. In fact, I recommend people to watch this anime if they have watched this show. Both shows have the main point of illegal experimenting on orphan children. In which the children that survive grow up and plan on revenge on society for forgetting them. This might be a spoiler for the anime so if you don't want to get spoiled, stop reading from here. Both shows follows a similar pathway and the characters share the same ending.I'm a sucker for the forgotten childhood friends trope so when Jin-woo started having flashbacks of Sang-pil and Tae-Joon it really tore my heart. I wish I couldve seen more, they were all one big family. I wished they all lived.

Good premise but mediocre output.
The OST is God-tier. But the pacing of the show was not good. They would introduce new things too slow or too fast. Prime example is OZ and the Law about Psychopth genes. Yes the plot twists were good, it made me believe Yohan was the killer (Though I knew from the start JBR killed Chikook at the beginning). It was a good show overall but the predator 1 and 2 shouldnt have been special episodes and rather it shouldve been integrated within the show. It may be my own opinions but I wished they couldve added more to the childhood scenes of Yohan and JBR.Was this review helpful to you?
