I started watching it by accident and absolutely loved it. The concept is intriguing. Gamers will find it riveting but non gamers will be awe struck. The visuals were beautiful and animations extremely realistic and convincing. Everybody would go bananas if a game like that would hit the market. For sure! Very interesting to see the interactions of a different culture that I have not been exposed to. I found it absolutely exquisite and intriguing. I had quite a crush on Yoo Jin-woo for a couple of weeks!
The constant replaying of the previous scenes were at times necessary but mostly unnecessary in my view. I skipped them quite often which is something I dont like doing as the series is so beautiful ,that I am scared I will miss a scene and I would like to watch each series without intervention to appreciate it optimally.
I enjoyed Ko Yoo-ra's antics especially in the end when it was said that she only marries rich guys. It was SO funny!
The main characters are very attractive and they play their roles very convincing. The end was a bit disappointing but I understand that a second series is probably planned. I will definitely be watching season two. Cant wait!

hmmmm

I am usually the one raving about the dramas but I was tempted to give this one a 2/10 which I did not give it. I am a bit shocked to read the other reviews as most of the people really enjoyed it. I did laugh a lot but the main actors were painfully daft. How can you have so many misunderstandings for heaven sakes. The heroine apologised the whole time and the hero did not have a good word for her even though he was attracted to her. In real life I DO NOT THINK that will work out well. The heroin had no self esteem from the looks of it. I definitely watched it end out but skipped two episodes as it was just too much for me to handle. Even the ending was a bit strange frankly......gosh.... Sorry to be a party pooper but I think I need a bit of a break from K Dramas for now just to recover.......

Master piece

It may be a personal favourite that other people won't and did not enjoy but it is such an interesting series. I havent finished watching it but up and until episode 8, I think it is a work of art. All the little nuances and the extremely interesting characters. Funny enough I have trouble expressing myself on this series. I think I still have to digest everything but it was just such an uplifting experience. One just gets such an infusion of positive energy and hope but you are also confronted with harsh and stark realities of life. I will have to see how the series turns out obviously, but I feel so happy that I am ending 2020 watching this story.

This series is like one of those books that you read, re-read and buy. Then you look at it in your book shelve and take it out when you feel like re-reading it. When you sit in your chair and look at your bookshelf and see this book you think about it again and the different topics that it touched. You think about the beautiful people in the book and how the story was told. It is truly a collectors item for me.

Very pleasant

I started watching and did not stop until the end. I did sleep a bit at some point lol. There is really space for this type of storyline but it was a bit over the top romantic somehow. If they toned down just by 20% on the romance it would have lend it quite a lot of credibility. But actually I can not fault it even if I am a giving a bit of criticism. I give it an overall 10/10 just because it was such a lot of fun to watch.

I enjoyed the group matching scenes and the insight into celebrity life. How celebrities are also human and affected by criticism. One tend to think that celebrities are used to everything and should deal with any criticism but bullying people remains bullying whatever their status or position in society. I also love the sincerity of the relationships that are displayed which is one thing that attracts me to K dramas. The love relationships remain real and human but the integrity of being sincere in your relationship really appeals to me.

Loved it

From the outset I have to say it became a bit too long for me and I just had to jump to the end to see how it ends. It was really beautiful and the love story developed slowly in that the characters learned to appreciate each other and share some life experiences together. Both Bai and Hai Fengxi are beautiful people who has goodwill to all human beings and fight for justice. The plot and politics were engaging al the way through. The martial arts were a bit wild but enjoyable. The music were very BIG and reminded of movies like Prince of Egypt. The costumes and dresses were so intricate and beautiful. I can recommend the movie whole heartedly and the acting were so believable that I found myself moving from tearing up to feeling very happy with the characters quite often. I absolutely loved the series but it was just too many episodes for a busy person like me. Enjoy !

Relaxing fun

Lets be honest...Lee Jun Ho is just adorable and one can just appreciate his handsomeness forever. The series is lighthearted and somehow uncomplicated which is a welcome reprieve from the highly intensive dramatic series that abound. So far at least. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series even if most of the actions are somehow predictable, but it is nice to wait for what you know may very well happen and then appreciate the moments right from the first second. If Lee Jun Ho look at me like he looks at his girl I will be lost!

Work of brilliant art, story telling and masterful directing

The visuals and photography are crystal clear and beautiful. It is like watching a master artist paint on a canvas. The actors are so beautiful and the "lack of feeling" on their faces conflicts with the emotion the story is communicating in such a complimentary way that you can not help but think about the story frequently during the week. The impact of the way the director put everything together is very powerful. I completely believe that some people watching this movie will experience profound healing from past hurts. At times it is so funny and quirky that I laugh out loud and I dont frankly care who hears me or who thinks I am crazy. I am in good company in the movie in any event! How anyone can think this movie is boring goes beyond believe...they are probably crazy as well! This series is a collectors item which ever way you look at it.

Cant get past episode 1

It is plain to see that the creators of this series did not even do research to add some credibility to their story. It is truly pathetic. In fact it was painful to watch. Is this how trials are conducted in Seoul...I dont think so. The female lead is so unconvincing and irritating. It is only the police official that brought a smile to my face briefly but it disappeared when his role started consisting of lifting up the main character's poor performance that dragged his down as well. This episode is a nightmare that I hope I will forget soon
