Rom-coms with mistaken identities are hilarious and especially when characters play along out of whatever emotion: friendship, love or just being plain mischievous, the ensuing circumstances are hilarious. Watching the characters concoct stories, build up scenarios and get into all kinds of predicaments was a hoot to watch. But at the center of it, ran a love story and the cutest bromance possible with all their trial and tribulations.
This is the first time, I have seen the second leads get their show going and then the mains come in after the fact. interesting in a good way. The second leads are the life of the drama, crackling with good-natured energy and enthusiasm. The second lead male is like a boy who never grew up, you want to scold him but smile instead, in that way the actor fit the character to a T. The main leads are GORGEOUS to look at. WOW his smile! and she is very charming too. The supporting cast is well-built up too. The main parents and Aunt are hilarious, so many meta references to their real-life accomplishments was a sneaky humor. The Main's Dad was so lovable, Best Dad Ever!.
The reasons why some act as they do is all made obvious to the viewer. No screechy females, no over the top villains, no deathly melodrama either, which is good. The music sits well with the situations. Every thing was going sooooo well, then why did I suddenly began to skip......... for the simple reason it...began...to.....draaag. So many good points and then so many let downs. Oh my disappointment! But I still watched it to the end hoping for it to pick up tempo and thankfully it did, towards then end.Not a lot, but enough to make me feel my time wasn't all lost.
So watch it with a smile, my advice: when progress becomes slow, reach for the forward button but don't miss out on the ending.

This is very well crafted layered drama which does a wonderful job of weaving multiple stories through one another. Like a very fine piece of embroidery. The writer came up with an interesting concept of combining the supernatural with the real world but full credit needs to go to the director and the producers too. The level of production is incredibly high. The action scenes are quite believable, the production team actually makes their actors sweat LOL.
The locations are gorgeous, I would love to have that house by the river!! This has it all fast-paced action, sweet romance, old love, the strength of family bonds, friendship, loss, revenge and above all, hope.
You feel for every character, there was a reason why they did what they did. Everything is so grey, nothing is black and white. Incredible acting by the actors playing the villains that in spite of their evil doings, you still feel a touch of pity and regret for them on a basic human level. In an odd way, the strongest stories were all the ones surrounding the main plot, The characters are so sensible here. no over the top hysterics! This drama was really like having a window into the basic human nature of people. There are certain scenes which just grab you with their intensity of silent emotion and dialogue.
The family ties between Prin and his grandmother, between Bella and her mother, the affection between old loves is all handled with a sweet touch. Even relation ships with the workplace, between the chief and his subordinates, the relationships within the neighbors, was well structured together. Romance takes a back seat initially, the emphasis is on the who-dunniit and what-happened, but Prin is awesome in his expressions and action scenes and Bella's smiles are infectious. The supernatural isn't forced and works hand-in-hand in moving the story forward. My particular favorite had to be Aunt Prik! You will know what I mean when you see her.
The music was very well done, very apt and sweet. I will re-watch this for sure, with a little fast forwarding, the cinematography is outstanding, the open credits and song are amazingly well done, the supernatural is handled deftly. The pace of the drama could be kicked up a few notches in certain instances, a few less weepy scenes would be good but nothing a little fast forward wont take care of :)

This is wacky kind of, off-the-wall kind of drama. Actually if you are not an anime or manga follower, it is very possible you will miss all the humor! Mind you need to be very strong anime/manga follower to really appreciate the zaniness of this, only then will you be able to understand the mindset of the characters. So don't go into this expecting any deep thoughts, wondrous acting, just enjoy it and smile.

This is my first review, so please do excuse any errors or over-enthusiasm on my part.
This is a wonderful drama which may fly under the radar for many. Like curling up with a good book, snuggled under a blanket on cold days, or like strolling in autumn under blue skies and amongst golden fallen leaves. It has been a long time since I have seen such a romantic drama which deals more with people and less with contrived situations.
The eyes, the silences, the glances, the music, the sunsets, indeed a wonderful story overall. Everything comes together so well like whipped cream on hot chocolate. Even the side characters had a presence and added well to the story. While some viewers may feel the story to be a same-old scenario yet it is the presentation and the actors give it a flavor of its own. This is not for those looking for a "fast-food" but something to be leisurely savored. The feeling stays with you long after it's over. A definite re-watch.

The synopsis did make me watch it. I have a soft corner for ""supernatural with a little heart"" kind of stories! And it is a mix of a little sweet, a little sad, little funny, a little face-palming and a bit of creepy horror. Yes, odd combination I know . The whole concept of putting such a manly main lead into such situations and watching him cope is hilarious at times, but watching the characters (of this world and hereafter) make connections is really well-done. The acting is pretty natural, the banter is so real, you feel you have said them or heard your friends say the same stuff at time, especially the main lead and his BF. The horror part is pretty well done too. Old school style horror but creepily close enough to real life: enough to give you the goosebumps when thinking about those sounds you hear at night when the wind blows. Can't say much about production value, but give it a chance. WARNING it may be a little draggy for all those used to fast paced K-drama or high gloss j-dorama but still give it a chance. Once you get past the lackluster sets, the story & relationships unfolding will keep you hooked. REWATCH: mmm... hard to be surprised a second time so unfortunately no, but definitely return to watch select scenes.

A little gem whose simple and quiet charm has been overshadowed by all the other glamorous stories out there! Memories are dreams which were just out of fingertip reach... this drama depicts that so well. This drama is a little window into a small episode in the lives of three people. How the past gently touches the present, and how the present makes you realize why things happened the way they did.

The music is flows seamlessly through out, supporting the emotions as all the actors bring forth their feelings through their actions, mannerisms, eyes and smiles. The dialogue is short, but the smiles and looks accompanying it gives it so much meaning. The physical surroundings cocoons the story. This is a charming mature episode in the lives of 3 adults. The writer has written a wonderful story and the director has brought it to life, like a short novel but so full of deep but quiet emotions.

A thoroughly complete story

This is quite a surprise! I had only read the synopsis which talked about the about the cross-dressing part (no spoilers here) and thought maybe it would be a run-of-the-mill, light hearted story..it was on my to-watch list for months and months..... to my surprise this is a very well written, crafted and executed complete story. No ends left dangling as such.
It starts off with a focused scope on a small family, that you think, okay this is just about them...and then before you know it, the story begins to expand. It expands itself so quietly and cunningly that before you know it, you are immersed into a whole universe. I love that it isn't just not only black and white. The way it went from talking about just 3 people living their lives and the story takes a step back and makes you realise the that they are a very important cog that makes this world go around. The characters progress satisfactorily, each has their own backdrop, told succinctly. Each character gets the screen time to share their story on stage, their hows and whys are shared clearly and you feel for everyone of them, laugh and shed tears with them, get angry at them...wonderful acting by everyone, the senior actors expressions in their eyes, the youthful charm of the young leads and how their characters develop as they face the unfolding secrets in their lives . The way the ending of the dram is picturised, you are left with the thought that somewhere, somehow their lives are still continuing on.
Rewatch value: for sure! Not the whole thing but some beautiful and heart touching moments of family relationships, of friendships. It is hilarious how a ML can be so "pretty"
