A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
I started this out of curiousity, seeing the story was something I haven't seen in c drama you can say I wanted a saviour....from all the repetitive cliche plots and thank goodness I decided to watch this ❤️ This tells a story of a girl whose suffering from an illness and has been restricted by it, she yearns too explore and through that exploration she crosses paths with a man who also seems distant and hurt together they get to know eachother get in a whirlwind romance and heal eachother from all their pain.WHY SHOULD YOU WATCH THIS?
1.THE PLOT
The plot regardless of seeming usual with the illness and all is perfectly paced in a way that the writers remained consistent to what they wanted to tell the viewers, giving much screen time to the main leads in the first half, allowing us to get to know them interact with their characters and give us a chance to view their story in more light, I loved it since it felt like I was watching someone's life story and just giggling, crying along the way🤍
2.THE ACTOR AND ACTRESS ( JERRY YAN AND XU ROUHAN.
He ran was the female lead of the series and I felt like this role was made just for her, loved how she potrayed her emotions well more so love how they made her character independent despite being seek she wanted to lead a free life, she was keen about what she wanted and made sure she got it and on top of that not being vulnerable but cheerful smart and strong.
Xiao Han potrayed by Jerry Yan was also done so well aside from being hot 🔥, he really knew how to act with his eyes, his smirks and micro expressions could help you understand exactly how he felt, he wasn't your typical cold guy character he was a mature warm cautious and understanding man in my opinion.
The supports too did a great job, the mom of the female lead Zhang yiquan and many more, Hanyu played by Kido ma was a breath of fresh air in the series with his innocence and clumsy nature he won my heart.
3.THE CHEMISTRY AND SENSUAL TENSION BETWEEN THE LEADS.
I must say I was impressed these guys have a real life 20 years age difference but iam suprised with how comfortable they are with each other, they had that spark that gave me butterflies every time they held hands hugged kissed or even just stared at eachother, yah there we re cut scenes ( I'll neve forgive you wetv) but still these two delivered that firefly chemistry I have been longing for❤️
4. OSTS
I loved how every song that played in the background of the scene matched the scene, like the music score was selected and was soo in sync with what's happening, I really can't choose my best ost as yet as they are all soo nice but I have to applaud who ever made the music selection 🤍 also was shocked to here the English version of lucid dreams which was one of the osts in a k drama while you were sleeping.
5.CINEMATOGRAPHY
The shooting sight was pleasing, the sceneries were soo healing and beautiful at the same time, it gave me those countryside beachy vibes I totally loved it❤️
6. BECAUSE ITS THAT GOOD
Now this drama isn't for everyone, no offense but if you going to make a big deal about the age difference then that's gonna hinder your view on the series, it's pacing is a normal life sort of pacing which might feel slow for some people...any ways this deserves all my praises I was moved from get go and I appreciate every one who joined hands to bring this to us thank you for the give of an awesome drama
7. THE ENDING..
The ending was how you interpret it as a viewer, she calls out his name he turns around with a bright smile and hugs her, is it a fantasy or reality love how it was beautifully potrayed I'll definitely on my side take it as a happy ending...you can choose what you call it as well❣️
I really sincerely with all my heart thank whoever was involved in bringing this story to life, I looked forward to it every single day spend hours listening and mumming to the osts, ive been level A addicted to this and it's left this memory in my head and heart that's to last decades 🥺❤️ I usually rate dramas from a scale of 10 where ten is the top mark but for this I'll add a 0.5 to be fair🌝😌
The forbidden flower 🤍
Personal rating: 10.5
Rewatch value: 10

A PLEASANT SURPRISE!!!!
"Rise of Ning" is a captivating historical drama that tells the story of Yining, a girl who returns home after being cast away by her father as punishment. Upon her return, she navigates the complexities of her family relationships and the intricate politics surrounding them. The drama delves into the mysteries of her mother's death and the secrets of her birth, adding layers to the narrative. As Yining reconnects with her family, she encounters a man who is intricately linked to her past and is also ostracized due to his origins. This relationship adds depth to the story, as both characters work together to confront the adversities posed by their family dynamics. The series primarily focuses on the various family relationships and the political intrigue within them, showcasing how the female and male leads support each other in their individual battles.
I initially watched this drama for the cast, particularly Ren Min, who portrays the female lead. I have admired her work in various projects before. Similarly, I was drawn to Zhang Wanyi, the male lead, who I had previously seen in the historical drama "Are You the One." However, beyond the impressive casting, I found myself falling in love with the story's buildup and development.
The narrative, centered around family, adversities, and complicated relationships, is both intriguing and engaging. The writer skillfully navigates potential pitfalls in the plot, ensuring that the story remains cohesive and captivating. Although the pacing starts off a bit slow, it serves as an essential part of the overall buildup, ultimately keeping me entertained and invested in the characters' journeys.
Given that this drama revolves around family politics, one might expect it to lean heavily into darker themes. However, despite its deep and heavy plot, "Rise of Ning" manages to maintain a light and relaxing tone, which I found refreshing.
One of the standout aspects of the series is the way its characters are written, particularly the main leads. The female lead is portrayed as quick-witted, smart, and emotionally and mentally strong. While she may not be physically powerful, her vulnerability makes her relatable and human. I loved how she embodies both strength and vulnerability; she isn't a warrior and doesn't rely on physical combat but instead uses her intelligence to navigate various challenges. She also assists the male lead in overcoming his own obstacles.
On the other hand, the male lead is characterized by his calm and gentle demeanor, combined with a sharp intellect. He possesses a tough side that emerges only when provoked, which I admired. Together, these two characters shine throughout the series. For the first time, I felt that neither lead overshadowed the other; instead, they both stood out in their own right, complementing each other beautifully. Their dynamic as a team was incredible, and I loved their teamwork.
Additionally, the supporting characters were interesting and added depth to the story. This drama features a diverse cast, and whether good or bad, each character contributed to making the show even more engaging.
The character development and the balance between the leads created a captivating viewing experience. It's great to see a drama that successfully highlights the strengths and vulnerabilities of its characters while keeping the tone enjoyable.....
The relationship between the leads is developed in a slow yet delicate manner, considering they start off as a sort of family and then evolve into something more. I love how they drew that line; as family, their bond was portrayed in a pure and heartwarming way, allowing the audience to feel the fondness between them. When they transitioned into lovers, it was a simple yet profound change. The shift was nothing grand but rather subtle, with each step taken carefully, which I appreciated a lot.
The chemistry between the leads was beautiful to watch. Their interactions made me giggle, and I adored seeing them together—both as supportive family members and as romantic partners. It was a beautiful, delicate, and heartwarming relationship that felt comfortable.
What stood out to me was the equality in their relationship. The writer made a conscious effort to avoid misunderstandings between them by emphasizing communication. This, combined with the carefully built trust, made their bond even stronger. He was always willing to protect her, even when she didn’t ask for it, and she was equally willing to help him out. Their overall dynamic was amazing to watch.
They don’t delve into the romantic aspect until later in the series, but the buildup of their relationship was so well done that the transition felt smooth.
I also loved how they inserted moments of comedy here and there, which lightened the mood even more. This balance made the series not only engaging but also enjoyable to watch!
The ending was beautiful, I love how they tied the knots and everything felt pretty much sorted out....this drama was such a wonderful experience..from a personal view and perspective...I loved every moment of it and actually needed more..but it was wrapped up beautifully.
Overall rise of Ning was such a pleasant surprise, and I'm really glad I gave it a chance! From the impressive cast to the engaging plot, everything just clicked. I know some people have reservations about the female lead, but honestly, she nailed her role! And of course, Zhang Wanyi did it again—his performance was fantastic, and I can't wait to see more of his work in the future.
The characters were well-written, and the relationship development between the leads was so captivating. The plot execution was spot on, and I never felt like the drama fell short at any moment. This has definitely become one of the best Chinese dramas I've watched this year!
Do I recommend it ? YES like there is no other answer I would give exept give it a chance and it might be exactly what you want.....

FRIENDS TO LOVERS TROUPE DONE RIGHT!!!
"You're My Lover Friend" is a refreshing take on the friends-to-lovers trope, bringing depth and authenticity to a story that often misses the mark. This drama beautifully captures the essence of a long-term friendship, where the bond between the two main characters feels both special and heartwarming. The writers have done a commendable job of portraying their relationship as something that goes beyond mere friendship, yet remains just shy of crossing into more intimate territory. What I particularly appreciate about this series is how it highlights the characters' internal conflicts as they begin to realize their feelings for each other. The slow burn of their relationship makes perfect sense; it allows viewers to witness each step of their journey—from deep friendship to the complexities of newfound feelings. While some might find the pacing slow, I believe it adds to the realism of their transition. The fear of losing what they already have is palpable, making their eventual acceptance of their feelings all the more rewarding.
Overall, "You're My Lover Friend" successfully showcases the nuanced journey from friends to lovers, emphasizing the importance of communication and taking things at a comfortable pace. It's a heartfelt exploration of love that resonates with anyone who has navigated the tricky waters of evolving relationships. This drama does justice to the friends-to-lovers trope in a way that feels genuine and relatable.
What I found particularly thoughtful about "You're My Lover Friend" is how the writer dedicated time and importance to the characters and their relationship. It’s refreshing to see a series that centers more on the emotional journey of the main characters, especially amidst the various subplots. The casting choices were spot on; having two real-life childhood friends, Steven Zhang and Wang Yuwen, added an undeniable charm to the series. Their chemistry was palpable, and their interactions felt so natural and fun to watch. You could genuinely sense the familiarity and comfort they shared, which made their connection all the more believable.
The acting was impressive, as expected from such talented leads. The side characters also contributed positively to the overall charm of the series, adding depth without overshadowing the main storyline.
I loved the laid-back vibe that permeated the show; it felt heartwarming, relatable, and beautifully crafted. While some might perceive the pacing as slow or draggy, I appreciated the intentionality behind it. The series did a fantastic job of portraying the complexities and challenges of transitioning from friends to lovers, showcasing the emotional turmoil that often accompanies such a change.
Overall, "You're My Lover Friend" was an amazing watch, and I had a great time going through this journey with the characters. I applaud the series for doing justice to the friends-to-lovers trope in a way that feels genuine and true to life. It’s a beautiful exploration of love that resonates deeply, making it a standout in its genre.

IGNORE THE RATINGS AND GIVE THIS AMAZING DRAMA A CHANCE!
I'll start by saying these are one of those times where I doubt peoples tastes in rating dramas because this deserves higher ratings....This drama was the kind of thriller that kept you on the edge of your seat no matter how simple the plot seemed to be...in short the plot was something refreshing and executed in a way that kept me engaged for eight episodes straight.
There plenty of reasons I'd give as to why this drama deserves a chance to be seen by many but I'll cut them down to three...
1. THE PLOT
This drama tells a story of a criminal who gets released from jail and a masked man who puts a bounty of 20 billion won on him for whoever kills him....just the sound of this sinopsis arrouses curiousity..you going to have lots of questions and trust me all will be slowly answered as the plot or story flows....
The pacing of this drama was neither fast nor slow but rather enough to keep you entertained and the hoping for more....the story it's self was intense..there was some amazing and captivating action that will keep you on your toes as you watch.
2. THE CHARACTERS
The drama it's self had multiple main characters and I love how they introduced each one of them per episode..each character had their own different story, personality and more and I love how each one of them connected to the main plot....the characters were written in a way that was interesting and despite the short episodes they felt complex and each contributed to the charm of the series.
3. THE ACTING
This drama has lots of familiar faces and most were veteran actors and actresses so the acting was strong and impactful from the entire cast.
BONUS: The show had some intense and catchy back ground music...
DO I RECOMMEND IT?
Absolutely, if you want a riveting, entertaining and exciting thriller then this is it
I REALLT HOPE FOR A SEASON TWO SEEING HOW THEY HINTED ON IT AT THE END👏🔥

I HAD A LOVE - HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS DRAMA.
I had a total love-hate relationship with this K-drama! There were moments when I was like, "Oh yes, I love it!" and then times when it all felt like a blur, so my feelings were definitely inconsistent.
What I really loved about "Love Next Door" was the story. Some parts felt so well-written and relatable, especially the female lead's journey at her workplace and her struggles with mental health and family expectations. Those themes hit home for me! The issues around family and friendship were portrayed beautifully, and the slice-of-life genre really shone through in those moments.
The characters were another highlight! They were imperfect and flawed, which made them super relatable. My favorite character was definitely Seokryu, the female lead. I connected with her struggles—her work challenges, health issues, and family expectations made her character feel precious. I was rooting for her to get her life together and rediscover herself!
The other characters, like the second male lead Danho, the little kid, the parents, and the brother, were interesting and added charm to the series.
As for the romance, I know some viewers complained about it being slow-burn, but I thought it made sense. The female lead had a lot going on in her life, and it was refreshing to see the characters take their time to heal and sort things out before getting into a relationship.
I adored the romance between the second lead couple, Danho and Moeum. Their little family dynamic with Danho's kid was beautiful to watch, and there were times when they stole the show from the main leads!
I loved the chemistry between both couples. With the main couple, their interactions felt comfortable and natural, giving me a sense of comfort, even if I wouldn't say they had that sizzling chemistry. It was evident in their interactions, but I think they had more chemistry off-screen in behind-the-scenes moments and interviews than on-screen.
The chemistry between the second lead couple was cute, too. I loved their contrasting personalities—one being outspoken while the other was quiet and reserved. They had such adorable chemistry!
Plus, I really appreciated the cinematography and the original soundtracks; they added to the overall experience of the show.
However, I think what turned me off sometimes was the length of the episodes. Some episodes were good, but others felt a bit blurry. The one hour and almost 30 minutes duration per episode might have motivated the writer to include more content that should have been avoided, making some episodes come off as draggy for me. And that's where the love-hate relationship with the drama comes in for me.
Overall, "Love Next Door" had its ups and downs, but the relatable themes, well-written characters, and charming romances made it worth watching. Do I recommend this? Maybe. It's a good drama, just don't go in with lots of expectations. It had its highs and lows for me.

A short, nostalgic cute warm and fluffy drama....
Serendipity's embrace is a short romcom about first love, second chance romance, friendship and more. It's a drama filled with warmth, lots of cute and fluffy moments and is most definitely going to give you nostalgia from the old Korean romcoms.
It's a cute drama that balances romance and comedy and considering its short, nothing felt repetitive or draggy....
The PLOT is something you have seen before, it's cliched and troupey but definitely executed in a way that feels warm and entertaining and engaging....the pacing is decent, nothing feel too rushed or too slow..it's the perfect pacing for the eight episodes.
The CAST did a great job, I must say this is one of my most loved characters of Kim so Hyun..her character as hong Ju is fun vibrant, clumsy, cheerful but at the same time not cringe or annoying...you could tell she was having an amazing time taking on this role.
Chaejongyeop's eye acting is definitely something worth of praise..he expresses him self through his eyes and that's something you could see especially in the earlier parts of the drama where he came off as a bit unexpressive...I also loved how he wasn't the typical cold male lead but rather just quiet, calm and mature...
Other characters were also a fun addition to the overall casts and I love how we got little to no toxic characters..it felt refreshing.
The characterisation was perfect and I loved the cast chemistry and how they all complimented eachother perfectly which added to the charm of the series.
The CHEMISTRY between the leads was one of the major points of this drama, their interactions felt cute and warm and natural, I loved how their conversations flowed so naturally at times it didn't feel acted and if anything made me wish that this drama was a bit longer then it's definitely the leads interactions together which gave me lots of flutters and butterflies.
Overall this drama was amazing, something simple yet cute to watch as in to take a break from the heavy plots we have been getting recently, something to remind you of the old k romcoms that were the reasons why we became kdrama find, something funny and cute to giggle it....this drama was exactly what it promised to be, a cute fluffy ROMCOM.
Do I recommend it?
Absolutely....you will have a great time watching this especially if you looking for a short, simple yet cute ROMCOM to watch!!!!

Unique, refreshing and riveting!!!
This drama has indeed shocked me, I can understand it took a while to air because of various reasons one of them being censorship so let's say I had lost hope that it was going to be as good..or if it was going to even air but it finally did and here we are....This is definitely one of the best dramas this year...2024 hasn't been the best C drama year so I have to specially thank snowfall for pulling me right out of that slump.....
This dramas had a riveting, refreshing and sort of unique plot..that despite facing issues of censorship managed to keep you engaged and entertained..the story was a mixture of fantasy, action, suspense thrill and a bit of comedy but was also really emotional and heartwarming.
The characterisation was good..the characters especially the main characters were written to be complex but also interesting and also had personality..... except for the villain antagonist that came off as rather aimless and one dimensional but I can put him aside because these other characters made up for what he lacked.
The acting was absolutely incredible, I need to applaud the actors and actresses for devouring and being commited to their roles in a way that made me connected to them and the story.
Gao weiguang's character as Shen zhiheng was absolutely Mature charismatic but also principled, disciplined, kind and dignified..in addition to generating a really strong aura that made me love and appreciate his character.
Ouyang nana as Milan was such a precious Character, I love how she managed to portray a blind character so well, her eye expressions and body language was so convincing..and I loved her character development after she changed....she was smart, witty and charming....she was a great addition to the cast.
Win wins Character as Situ weilan was another amazing character, he was potrayed as grey and witty but also a bit mysterious....and generated this charming era....
These three had such amazing character chemistry and I enjoyed their interactions throughly.
One character I had a problem with was the supposedly antagonist Li yiyang, his character seemed aimless, and cartoonish and one dimensional and I wasn't sure about whether to take him seriously or not..he was so annoying and definitely not entertaining but regardless I have to commend Ryan Ren's acting in some scenes especially in the last Episodes..he did start off as overacting but I loved how he improved towards the end...it was indeed a development.
I must say I also enjoyed...the heart warming relationship between Gao weiguang and Ouyang Nana's characters Shen and Milan...it was heartwarming and beautiful despite them having subtle interactions.....I really yearned to see more of them.
This drama was visually appealing...the costume designs the cinematography everything was shot so beautifully....it was appeasing to the eyes.
The osts and soundtracks were amazing too.
Now which brings me to the part I kind of didn't like but also sort of understood..THE ENDING Iam still collecting my self to describe exactly what I feel about the ending..it felt a bit quick abrupt rushed....it would have sunk in more had it been a little longer...let's just say it definetly broke my heart but the series overall minus those last few minutes of EP 24 was amazing.
Do I recommend it ?
YES skip the last episode if you can't take a heartbreaking ending but watch the rest of the drams the only difference is that you might get too attached and connected as I was which would lead to a heartbreak.
All in all this is one of the best dramas this year!!! For me so I give it a 10 consider it an emotional rating because even if it wasn't the most perfect drama I was still entertained so much to give it anything less than that.....so enjoy!!! It's a nice drama.

A good pyschological thriller but definitely not for everyone.....
"The Doubt is a compelling psychological thriller that offers a unique take on the genre. The story revolves around a criminal profiler who finds himself entangled in a case that unexpectedly connects to his daughter. As he uncovers clues, he grapples with the unsettling possibility of his daughter's involvement, creating a tension-filled narrative that explores trust and doubt. What sets The Doubt apart is its deliberate pacing. Unlike many thrillers that rely on constant action and adrenaline, this drama rather opts for a more measured approach. The suspense builds gradually, allowing for a deep exploration of the characters and their motivations. The daughter, portrayed as a mysterious figure, adds layers of complexity, keeping viewers guessing about her true intentions.
The storytelling in this drama is slow, and I think it's intentional to build up the suspense and mystery surrounding the plot and the characters. Despite the slow pace, a lot can happen in a moment. It has this laid-back vibe that keeps you calm but intrigued by how the events unfold.
The characters are interestingly written. The dad can seemingly read a lot of criminals' minds but struggles to understand his own daughter's, reflecting their strained relationship. The daughter looks suspicious from the first glance; she’s secretive, smart, and a planner but also a loner. Her blank look at times shows a lack of feelings, adding to the intrigue. The side characters introduced for the murder case are also well-developed, with their stories connecting to the main plot, which I find interesting.
The acting is undoubtedly impressive. The overall production, the gloomy cinematography, the soundtracks, and everything else contribute to a great viewing experience.
However, When I say this drama isn't for everyone, I mean that some might find it slow or boring, and others may not appreciate the laid-back vibe. But if you’re looking for a good psychological thriller that’s thought-provoking and keeps you guessing with strong acting and interesting characters, then you should definitely check it out.
Note:
The Doubt may not appeal to everyone. Its slow-burn style may frustrate those seeking a fast-paced thrill ride. But for those who appreciate a psychological exploration of relationships and the intricacies of trust, this drama is definitely worth watching.

DEFINETLY ADDED TO MY LIST OF CLASSIC KDRAMA THRILLERS.
"Black Out is a classic K-drama thriller that captivates from start to finish. The story revolves around a man who is falsely accused of murdering two of his friends. Despite his claims of innocence and a lack of memory regarding the events, the evidence leads to his conviction, resulting in a ten-year prison sentence. Upon his release, he faces the harsh negativity and suspicion from the people in his village, which drives him to seek the truth and clear his name.
What stands out about 'Black Out' is its exceptional writing. It skillfully combines intense thrills with emotional depth, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats while also tugging at their heartstrings. The narrative unfolds gradually, revealing critical information piece by piece, which only heightens the excitement as the story progresses. The pacing of the story is decent—not too rushed and not too slow—allowing everything to be revealed without leaving anything out.
The acting in 'Black Out' is nothing short of amazing. Byun Yohan, in particular, delivers a powerful performance, showcasing a wide range of emotions that truly resonate with the audience. The female lead also won me over with her acting; the character she portrayed suited her perfectly. The supporting characters, including the detective and various villagers, contribute significantly to the story, even if some are intentionally irritable and may make your blood boil. Each did well in their roles as they were written.
The ending felt like therapy after the roller coaster of emotions this drama put me through..I had tears in my eyes the entire time...it was all worthwhile!
Overall, 'Black Out' was an interesting thriller and mystery drama that kept me at the edge of my seat as I waited for the story to unfold. Prepare some stress-free pills on the side because the characters, minus the male lead and the detective, are sure to test your patience. Do I recommend 'Black Out'? Definitely! It's a classic, and I would add it to the corner of my favorite K-drama thrillers right next to 'Mouse,' 'King of Pigs,' 'Big Mouth,' 'Beyond Evil,' 'Flower of Evil,' 'Signal,' and more."

A UNIQUE CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED GEM
I started this out of spite but I was drawn to how it's theme seemed like something I haven't seen in C drama land in a while and I must say it continued surprising me throughout the episodes. Before I give my likes and dislikes about it I must say it's not your usual C drama troupe..it's not gonna have a fast pace type of love story and neither does it solely focus of romance...it's wierd yet quite addicting to watch.
What I liked about this drama was the plot execution...which was quite different...setting the leads out on this adventure as she tells him stories which were quite connected to her life was refreshing to see...the fables( stories) were amazing and each taught a lesson, the plot managed to balance the romance and the humour and the main plot.
The cast, it's my first time seeing FEI in a drama and yes I can say she really out did her self in this her character was challenged to portray firstly the role of the female lead and then POTRAY the fictional fable characters and each had a different temperament which she did flawlessly.
Male lead was someone I've seen before in CEO dramas and he's character here was a breath of fresh air I must say, he was sunny and different from all the roles he has been potraying which I liked quite alot.
The CINEMATOGRAPHY was an absolute pleasure...this part is usually not put into consideration in many dramas but this drama made sure to put it into place..the cinematography was amazing and the creativity put into the leads outfit which allowed them to reflect their roles and also the cinematography was an absolute pleasure indeed....I loved it
My only problem with the drama was being short...like how can you give me just 30 or 27 minutes per episode for this beautiful drama..I needed more.......
This is highly recommended for people who want something unique...and interesting but if you looking for alot of romance then this isn't for you....
It's added to my top five dramas this year.

Unexpected treat
This isn't like any other series, it's not continuous story but it's more of a sitcom centered around planning department three and how they are put into various work and life situations with a touch of comedy...What did I love about Never give up
1.The cast
They were all soo good I must say and pretty naturally funny, it isn't easy to be so serious and funny at the same time and these guys every one of the actors were soo good, Their interactions with one another felt natural and not forced they all had amazing chemistry with one another, they managed to keep the viewers engaged I sort of felt part of the planning department 3 family the entire time.
2.The plot setting
The plot felt consistent and funny though got real and emotional at some point that's what I call comedy with soul, I never got bored once like at all, I loved the setting it felt like these characters or actors and actresses were pretty much just having fun together, the pacing was perfect and yes don't worry about the 40 episodes each was 20 - 30 minutes long, it didn't drag out because each episode felt like a new adventure loved the sitcom setting
Overall this was a treat I didnt know I needed, it felt good to see Dylan Wang in a new role more funny and loving at that, I became a new fan of Zheng kai who was my favourite male character in the entire series, Yukee chen proved to me once again that she's a good actress hope to see her in more projects, and the other cast iam thankful for this, it kept me stress free, I enjoyed the 40 episodes journey of NEVER GIVE UP
I would highly recommend to watch this if you looking for some thing fresh and relaxing yet heart warming

A good drama with potential ruined by a lazy ending
This for me started out great, I loved the mature concept, I loved the imperfect characters that could help you bond with the story and relate more, I loved the leads chemistry ( I could sign a petition of them having a drama together) I loved both Wang Chu ran and Pen guayins potrayal of Dr Ning and Ruan, and I loved the first 30 episodes of the show before it took the drastic 180 degrees turn that made me question my ratings.Having witnesses these twos divorce, their reunion, their difficulty in understanding eachother their wanting to be together but have many insecurities and cant do that, I expected a much more fullfilling end the end that would give respect to the basis of the story and Ofcourse sad to say but the writer went with the unthought out amnesia plot, like was this a way to give male leads character a chance of redeeming but he was okay as his old character or maybe I'll try to understand it as a way to help male lead fall for her this time round, it was not a sad ending it was sort of happy- ish but it totally made the 30 episodes seem like a wastage of time, I have seen dramas with endings I can justify that's because those endings sort of reflected in the story some how but not this I couldn't justify this, I just feel utterly disappointed....🥲
This drama deserves uploads for the good chemistry between the leads, their spot on reality checks if marriage and love, the medical scenes of the series, the interactions between the entire cast and the osts....so after all that put into consideration I came up with a decent rating of this, I would like to recommend this but I won't guarantee you will be impressed by the ending.....
Personal rating: 8/10
Rewatch value: 6

A HEALING AND HEARTWARMING JOURNEY OF LOVE AND SPORTS, FOLLOWING DREAMS AND CAREER
Some dramas just hit differently😌This is a story of healing, a man in his 20s is hitting rock bottom in his athletic career switches to playing tennis and a woman in her 30s finding it hard in her job they both need a great away when they meet and start working together as a manager and player
Why should you watch Nothing but you? / What did I love about nothing but you ❤️
#1. THE CAST
Wu lei playing his real age character in the drama, a hot blooded youth ready to fight for his dreams, rising up to the challenges involved, an understanding male lead who has the best motivating dialogue, he listens, encourages and supports the female lead he isn't your typical good guy he's considerate at the same time inspiring....and I must say song San Chuan was a role made for Wu lei and hearts off to him for pulling it off perfectly..
Zhou yutong is one of those female leads who are so natural and definetly great at whatever role they are given, I love how she always manages to choose these projects that let her shine as a character, I loved the realistic touch of her character but at the same time strong and less cringy as a female lead she was hardworking and self spoken though at times cowardly especially in the love sector but that was reflected in her back story....she really ate up her role too 😌
The other characters the tennis team, the coach the young sister of the female lead all did a great job in their respective characters
#2. THE STORY
Now this is the part where some one will say, it's just a sports drama but then I'll say it was well executed and that made it unique in a way, the story flow being a slow burn was builded from scratch in a more natural and realistic manner, we saw them fight we saw them hit rock bottom, we saw them grow stronger, we saw them succeed, the story had a unique way of getting better after each episode, the tiny quotes and details thrown in that had you pause and think about loved the consistency...it being a 38 episode drama it sure was well done to make sure it didn't break its fresh feel❤️
#3 THE CHEMISTRY 💖
Mye be it was the natural development of their relationship from being acquaintances to friends to lovers but you could really see a natural mutual connection from these two, their small interactions and talks where they encourage each other, play with each other felt unscripted, I just loved the leads chemistry...I'd sign a petition to have them in a drama later on
#4. THE DIALOGUE
A few people care about the lines in series but I do I love it when the lines are quoteworthy motivating even relatable and this gave that to me I could find my self nothing a few lines on the side just because they hit differently to me, the dialogue was deep and heavy and realistic I couldn't help smile or get inspired or even find my self reflecting on the words
I had a few issues with the little sisters story line at first, it seemed unnessesary and not something the original story wanted but I love how they gave her some of involvement in the story later on..character development...
This isn't a core Sports drama, but it has sports as a tag the main plot focusses on the leads who heal each other with time, open their hearts to one another, help each other fullfill their goals support each other and motivate and love each other, the sports part showed the hustles of athletes and also a nice team building spirit and a few competitions to relate too but I overall liked the story, the leads relationship was a slow burn, and it was done right for me....so I'd recommend this to some one looking for some thing healing, sporty, a romantic genre with leads who have amazing chemistry and friendship, relatable story with amazing dialogue....
This is definitely added to my top three modern dramas this year for me

A BEAUTIFUL HEART WARMING STORY❤️
I never thought that a crush would be potrayed in a beautiful sacred yet thrilling way like this drama did... sincerely speaking it felt like I was passing my eyes through some one's diary...all the emotions and feelings were so real and natural..this drama had that ability to grow onto you even without you realising it...There many reasons why iam rating this drama with a solid 10 but I'll break them down into five.
The plot might seem like something you have seen before but trust me you haven't, it has a unique touch to it, from the story execution to the dialogue to the consistency to the way it's heartwarming and beautiful and emotional...yet light and simple.
Zhao lusi as Sang Zhi has to be the best decision they made, she fits the role so well and is acting is so effortlessly from the time she acted as a 17 year old to the current episodes where she's grown up, her character is really attaching and lovely and worth rooting for, I loved her character development and the way her character was made sensible cute delicate but at the same time brave...this has to be my best character of Zhao lusi so far ❤️
Chen Zhe yuan as Duan jiaxu is everything, he was written as mature yet caring and understanding to sum it all up he was that green flag and I admired how he acts with his eyes..all his emotions are potrayed from his eyes and that's what made his character unique🤍
Victor Ma as Sang Yan was another unforgettable character..he won me over with the way he's character was written..he's relationship with the female lead was so precious and I absolutely loved their bickering and dynamics as siblings..❤️
The chemistry between the leads was beyond doubt amazing .I loved their natural and unforced Interactions, I love the comfort I got from their relationship I love how their relationship was far from toxic but health and admirable 🤍
The osts were beautiful and reflected the story and the Cinematography was to die for.
Overall this was a nice ride..I roller coaster of many emotions and I must say I'll miss this drama so much.
I do recommend this...if you want something light and fluffy ❤️
